I get the black and the blue shades mostly. The sizing has been consistent, but each color is made in a different country. The Black ones from Mexico are the primary ones I wear, so far they are holding up good. The new blue stone one I just got is a bit softer material. I think it was from Haiti and so far I like it the best, but I'll wash it a few times and compare it to my usual black versions. The XL talls are very long, plenty roomy and work good on my 250 pound 6'-4" frame. They are plenty long to stay tucked or you can leave them untucked too just fine. Haven't had any quality control issues with mine. I always wash in cold water, dry on low heat. I wash them like my bluejeans.

You see,read and hear so much about knock offs beings sold as the real deal. I was very sceptical about purchasing this shirt since many complained about the fitting. When it arrived a day ahead of schedule and my husband tried it on I was relieved. I've purchase from cathartic website many times befor but we were going away on a whim and he needed a few new tee shirts. This is not too light weight nor too heavy it a medium weight shirt and fits just perfect. With the added benefit of a small percentage of synthetic fibers I don't antisapate any shrinkage. If I do I will update this review. My husband is a big man (and has lost weight recently which I'm very proud of him in succeeding )

It's hard to explain the experience of "fit as expected" when you are used to buying extra-large just so you have enough length in your t-shirts. I am on the tall side, and when I tried the shirt on (Large/Tall - ordered from Amazon without having tried anywhere else first) as was actaully excited I could wear a Large and have it fit generously in the length while also fitting my shoulders and neck correctly. According to my age, gender, height I am currently at an 'ideal' BMI yet this is the first t-shirt that actually fits me; I was actaully nicknamed "half-shirt" once upon a time because the average stanfield/CK/fruit of the loom are simply too stumpy in the cut for me.

I realize there are so many reviews on this product this probably won’t get looked at much but...These are my absolute favorite shirts of all time. I’m 6’4”, 225lbs and it’s so incredibly difficult to find a shirt that fits a tall man. Regular T-shirts run way way too short, they aren’t meant for us.The XLT fits me great in the summer and the 2XLT fits me in the winter after I’ve put on a few lbs after thanksgiving. The tall sizes are spot on and it only took me 40 years to find a shirt that fits properly. Also they are a thick heavy shirt so they work great for me, for work and out and about.At 17 bucks it’s literally a steal, I would highly, highly recommend!!!

These are great t-shirts. Mine were a bit oversized but I'll fix that with next order. Use them for work, mostly, and for everyday wear. I bought 15 shirts in 3 colors all the same size. Found that the sand color fit well and the others were a bit big so I use those for work. Good weight for Florida weather. Strong fabric for a work shirt. Need more now because, if you're sloppy like me, they'll get stained before they wear out. This was a great way to buy them instead of fishing through the racks at some store for the right size and color. Pocket is useful and stitched strong. Could I hope for an extra stitch near the pocket corner to hold a pencil?

I like these because they are about the heaviest tee's you can find. As for durability, I don't think these quite measure up to the old Jeep(tm) shirts that I still wear from time to time. Unfortunately, the better Jeep shirts are no longer sold, so these are my choice for a replacement.I knocked one star off of this product due to Carhartt's insistence that every product they produce have a logo attached. I'm all for recommending a good product, but they don't pay me to advertise for them, so the first thing I do is grab a seam ripper and remove the logo. To me, this is unnecessary extra work - they should just sell an unlogo'd shirt!

I wish I bought one shirt to verify the size and weight, instead of buying ten (all the same color, which was black) sight unseen. In terms of size, this is the first 2X shirt that I have ever bought that was clearly too large. The fabric is indeed heavy, but just barely enough to be adequate for my tastes. I wanted over the top heavy, which means most other people would probably find this weight to be perfect. Be aware that other posts said that the size and weight varied among colors, so buying one garment to test drive might not be a bad idea. Still, I am very happy with my roomy shirt with its heavy but not too heavy fabric.

For the past couple of years I've been setting myself up with a Carhartt wardrobe of clothes. So far I've had a rain jacket, a winter jacket and an arctic body warmer. Plus socks and jumpers etc. The reason is I love quality and things that last. As I'm getting longer in the tooth I want clothes that may outlive me, and Carhartt will do that! This shirt is one of a half dozen short sleeved Carhartt tee's I've bought and its great. I'm a biggish bloke and usually take xxl but in Carhartt an xl fits perfectly. So if you remember this when ordering, you won't be disappointed. Carhartt is great stuff!

These tshirts are incredible quality, I've got several I've had for years and still as new. Super comfortable to wear too.They are big so make sure you check the sizing. I'm 6'3" and a large guy, I'm normally a XXL or even a 3XL in UK high street sizes, but in these tshirts an XL is a perfect fit.Only downside is the price at the moment. Can normally find these for much less than £20, sometimes even less than £15, but prices are hiked at the moment due to stock shortages thanks to Covid. Hopefully pick up a few more when prices drop a bit.

I see a lot of complaints about fit. I have had trouble with Carhartt consistency for a while, it all depends where it was made. I still remember when it was made in the good old USA. This arrived quickly and well packaged. It's an excellent fit and really well made. Slightly thicker material than other plain white t shirts that we've got my hubby from other shops which was a bonus, it's clearly a good quality product and he said it's really comfortable to wear. Looks really nice on and it also washed up really well and dried without twisting, shrinking etc. Dried it on a clothes horse and it didn't even need ironing. Wahay! Would thoroughly recommend.

This shirt was more than I expected for the ( very reasonable) price. The shirt is not to hot to use working inside and works as a great under layer outside in the winter. There's virtually no shrinkage from washing or color fading! The Carhartt company seems to know how to size their clothing for the working man. In some shirts I'm a 3xl and in others a 2xl, Carhartt's 2xl had room to spare and great in the length.Thanks Amazon for the savings and quick service!!

Pay attention when people say to order one size smaller than the size chart dictates. I usually order whatever says neck size 19 and 54 chest which was 3X in this case. However I took the advice of others and ordered 2X and the fit is perfect even after washing. Plenty of length to tuck in, which is what I prefer for comfort.I am 5 feet 11 and 275 pounds with pretty broad shoulders. So be sure to order a size smaller than the size chart dictates.

These shirts are great quality...my son loves them. He is in college, but we also have a farm and he works outdoor job during the summer. The only thing... they are HUGE. He normally would wear a XL ( He is 6 ft tall and 220) and he could almost wear a medium in these. A large fits loosely, but fine after it is washed in hot water and dried completely every time. If he got a medium, I would wash in warm water and dry for about 20 minutes.

As others have said, size seems to vary. I have this same shirt in large (made in Haiti) and I like the fit. Ordered this in large tall (made in Pakistan) for the added length and it is not only longer, but bigger in the body as well. I'm happy with the shirt itself, but there is obviously a problem with quality control and size standards within their manufacturing facilities. Seems as if ordering these is "individual results may vary".
