Honestly, having read some of the reviews. I had some apprehension about purchasing. But, having spent some time working for the Lacoste brand protection team (although not my current occupation) and access to authorized third party dealers information. I was confident that, this was genuine product and if some sort of slight of hand did occur. I would be able to spot counterfeit product.As expected, this is genuine product with the correct numeric information that match an authorized dealer (obviously, I am not going to tell you it's specific location).As a point of full disclosure, the item I received was an older version (not an issue given that, even in Lacoste stand alone retail locations,

I have seen alot of Lacoste polos on Amazon, and alot of people saying they're fakes. Now they're still expensive which may put people off buying. So my findings on this particular shirt are these: it seems to be a 1212 classic fit polo, pretty much exactly as my Lacoste bought 1212s. With only one exception that i have found, i take an XL, which is the size 6 in Lacoste/French sizing. They all fit the same. This Amazon one still has the 'classicfit', but appears to fit like a size 7, though it has a size 6 label. So are these maybe some sort of factory seconds? Anyway the quality is impeccable, that which you would expect of Lacoste. I would buy again but if it dropped a size smaller i would have to return.

perfect.....superb fit and quality ,im a big lump and the fact you can get size 10 is perfect ,9 is a lot shorter in my experience the 10 is a genuine 28-29 armpit to armpit and a decent lengthi wont shop anywhere else now ,i spent ages trying shops and picking up the odd size 10 item here and there now i have a choice of colours at a load undr retail price ....and compared to my dozens of original lacoste items rest assured these are genuine

I got the L1212 XL(6) and it fits perfect, I've had numerous brands of polo's and wore them a few times with satisfaction but after a few washes they either go to baggy or to small. I've wore this Lacoste a few times now and followed the care guide with 100% success and it still looks brand new. I don't mind paying the extra few quid on a decent branded polo, I WILL definitely be adding a few more to my wardrobe.

Super item, took a while to find the model and color number but thankfully DressInn had it. Classic fit, I am normal size, 179 cm and weight 72 kg so I took a size M / 4. It was on sale even so I immediately bought it and thus made my first purchase with this company. Delivery was fast and kept well informed during the process. I look forward to doing business again, 10/10.

Feels like it had a slightly more fitted cut, I've been wearing the L1212 for years and have more than a dozen currently so I know its not middle age spread! I have also had the occasional one come up on the large/small size over the years so I know this can happen, but this one was on the ok side of things. Great value in the Black Friday sale as well.

Not much to say about this, other than it's a classic shirt in a nice colour for summer. The fit is perfect & hasn't changed in years & it's refreshing to buy something you know will fit as expected. The Amazon price of £37.50 is great value too. All I need now is a sunny day to show it off.

Superb and properly sizedSize 10/5xl is a genuine 29-30 armpit to armpit and 32” lengthSick of local stores only going up to size 6 or most places online size 9 which is a fair bit smaller and shorter than the size 10Genuine Lacoste for the big boys at discount prices ....perfect

These are very high quality tops but I could never justify paying full price for one. However I was more than happy with £35 on Amazon's Black Friday, so I got 3!!! :)The fit is exactly as expected (I'm 6' 2" - 43" chest) and Large is perfect.

Was thinking this or the Fred Perry polo shirt but it seems Fred Perry have increased their prices, this seemed great value from Amazon as usual. Timeless classic, good quality. For when you need to be a little more smarter than a T-shirt.

I purchased one of these for my boyfriend. He usually wears their size 5 in the other styles but having read the other reviews about this style (L1212 Original) coming up larger, I decided to get size 4.... fits him perfectly!

I have moer than a dozen of that polo in various colors so quality is high as expected.I put 4 stars because color has nothing to do with the picture.It is plain very intense pink not flamingo pink shown.I kept it anyway.

This is a nice polo of good material. Original polo design with 2 button placket and small crocodile on the chest. High quality and not thin like their sports polos. They're the people that invented the polo and it shows.

Reading some of these comments regarding the tops being fake. These are not fake, they are quality Lacoste polo shirts. I've got this as a Xmas present for someone. I've checked every part of the shirt. They are real

Read the reviews about Lacoste sizing and decided to drop from my normal medium size to small when purchasing.Got it spot on and very pleased with the overall look and quality of the product.
