The product description states the shoes I ordered were UK size 7, european size 41. I think that the UK size is correct, however the european size is incorrect. I usually wear shoe sizes 6, 6.5 or 7. In the european sizes I wear 39 or 40. I have never worn 41 and I was concerned that these shoes might be too big. When I first put them on they felt very comfortable and even a bit loose. I decided to keep them and wore them around town for a day and they absolutely tore into the back of my ankle! I think it might be the shape of the shoe around the top edge and I believe they will soften, but it will take a few more days of pain. My toes were comfortable all the while, but they are not a size 41...

These shoes are really the bees knees and the dogs b...(well you get the picture). With flat pumps you get what you pay for and after having a couple of pairs that rubbed everywhere and with a sole so thin you could feel every crack in the pavement I decided to lash out on a quality pair. The leather is of excellent quality; the sole thick but not overly so; and they are so comfortable they feel like slippers. Bear in mind they do need a bit of breaking in though as they can initially rub around the ankle area. Don't bother with cheaper versions though - they're not worth the hassle, and your feet will thank you. I bought these and can say I am one happy bunny!

Comfortable, nice looking quality shoes. Quite a drawback represents the sizing - in my size (6,5) they are too tight and short (unwearable), in size 7 they are large enough, perhaps rather too large, considering the leather will give way in the course of time. In spite of that I decided to keep them as there are not so many good simple soft black leather ballet flats on the market.So far I have been wearing them very short time and usually on naked feet and they are super-comfortable and thanks to the higher heel part do not slip. Once they start slipping down, and I am sure they will one day, I will either pad the heel part or insert a thin insole which will not harm the comfort of wearing.

I tried these Hush Puppies on in a shop and found that the size 7 was too small and the size 8 was too big, I think I am probably around size 7.5. I was disappointed as I really liked the style of the shoe and the leather and inside were soft and comfy. Having read previous reviews that said the shoes come up about half a size too small I wondered whether the stock I tried on in the shop were newer and Hush Puppies have changed their sizing slightly because of feedback about the half size difference. I was pleased to discover that I was right as the size 8 I bought from Amazon fit nicely! So I guess at some point Amazon will move on to the newer stock too and the sizing will be more accurate

I tried these because I own two pairs of Brietta, which are identical to this model but with a strap. I usually have problems with ordinary ballerinas falling off or having such thin soles that they are uncomfortable to walk on. I was really pleased with these. Despite having no strap they do not fall off and are padded inside so they are comfortable to walk on. I bought the red which is really a beautiful cranberry shade. I wish that I had taken the advice of everybody else who reviewed them and got a size larger than usual, because I had to return the first pair I bought in my normal size and get a size larger. When I did, though, I was really delighted--comfortable, pretty and such a lovely colour.

I've often noticed that ballet flats can be surprisingly small compared to 'normal' shoes so having read some of the previous reviews here I decided to try buying a size 5 and, even though I'm usually a size 4, these fit me great so I would definitely recommend buying a size up.Ignoring the size issue though, they're a great pair of shoes!They needed hardly any breaking in and I now wear them to walk 45mins to work and back each day for which they're holding up really well, so far. Another reviewer suggested buying some insoles to keep them fresh, which I think may be wise so I have done, but in terms of comfort it's not particularly necessary.

Ordered these shoes as they were fantastic value. I had previously seen them in person in Schuh, so already had an idea of how light and squishy the soles are. Leather is of good quality and thick but I think will soften with wear, to make them the most comfortable shoes ever. I like the style of them and they are very wearable, they look great with Jeans, chinos or a skirt.I am a 5.5 on one foot and a 5 on the other but I went for a 6 in these as I tried a 5 and they do seem to come up small.I have worn them nearly everyday since they arrived and no breaking in has been necessary. I love them and will be ordering some more for work.

Great shoes, soooo comfortable. I'm a 61/2 to 7, medium fit. Got size 7 after reading other reviews that they are a bit on the small side, and they really are! I think it's the big toe area....I don't think the shoe designers of these shoes have realised that the big toe extends more!!! They are otherwise great shoes, and I'm keeping them....the leather is so soft that I'm sure that they will 'give' in the big toe area! Hopefully without blowing out the front of the shoe...if that happens Amazon will be getting them back. BTW, I had a shoe shop for many years and know what I'm talking about x

Despite sizing up a little large both in the length and the width I managed to solve the problem with sticky-back heel grips...and haven't taken the shoes off since! They are extremely comfortable and - unlike other, cheaper "ballerina" shoes - they don't smell! I had a pair of cheap black ballerina pumps before these and even though they looked lovely they stank to the point that I couldn't take them off in the house...particularly not a friend's house! So I invested in these ones and they are a dream. Highly recommended.

Love the color and detail and hope they will prove to be very comfortable and practical as a work shoe.I found the size to be a little shorter than expected as i had already tried the same shoe on in a shop but as I only need an extra mm or two for comfort I think the leather will ease enough.friends who have purchased a similar shoe have said their shoes were slippy with poor grip in wet weather however i have not had any problems with grip yet. Not sure how they will fair in the icy or frosty weather though.

I really like these shoes ..so much I've bouoght a second pair for when these wear out, and also have a white pair.I love the colour matched low profile sole - makes them look very neat. They're extremely comfortable to wear and also to walk in as the innersole is cushioned.These also make great houseshoes too as they're lightweight, flexible, quiet and I can wear them all day in total comfort.Hush Puppies seem to replace styles fairly frequently, so I try to get particularly good ones while they're available.

Another great find from Hush Puppies! Fit lovely (I have a bunion on one foot and its hidden but comfy). Lovely soft inners for soles of feet. One lady in her review said they look like slippers but I think they look like ballet flats, not slippers!I was wary ordering them due to the slipper comment and also that the picture makes them look quite high at the back but they sit where they are meant to at the back of your ankle. Give them a go, free returns if you don't like them but I'm sure you will!

Firstly, I love these pumps. They are well made and will look even better with age! However, I wanted to leave this feedback re: sizing issue. I am a size 7 in Fly London footwear. Generally wear boots and shoes with ankle straps. These pumps are such good quality leather that I know they will stretch, therefore, I wish I had bought a 6.5 or even a 6. I have bought insoles for them and they now fit to a 6.5. I will certainly buy another pair, but next time, will order a 6.

Being a borderline UK size 7.5 & no longer narrow footed, I decided to order the 8's & the fit is great. Its my 1st purchase of the Hush Puppies brand & my expectation was that the leather would be soft (similar to my Gabor ballet flats), but it's not. My hope is that with a little wear they'll soften. They initially seem quite comfortable nonetheless. (I admit that with all leather, from handbags to coats I prefer the appearance once it's 'worn in'). Happy to recommend.

These are very comfortable ballet flats. From the moment I put them on I knew I would spend the summer in them - and I did! Usually I would be loathe to buy shows online but Hush Puppy are a good brand and the quality is good for the price. The fit is good and the leather is soft. At first I thought they might be a little too soft but they have lasted well and they will be fine for next summer too, which is very good value considering I walk about 6 miles each day.
