I loved these shoes but they were too narrow, I ordered them without realising that I am a G fit in Gabor shoes which I then discovered by chatting with the John Lewis shoe department assistant. Sadly these shoes are not made in a G fitting and whilst Gabor do have a limited range of G fit shoes (available directly from the Gabor website), they don't make a completely black patent ballet pump which is what I really wanted.

This is my second pair - the last pair were bought about a year ago, now relegated to use for walking to the station in the morning, and the second pair to wear in the office. Great that Gabor do 1/2 sizes. Very smart shoes. Very happy with them.I've now gone on to buy a third pair, but I bought the blue patent - unfortunately the blue, which I thought would be navy, is more like a black so I am sending them back.

Hard to find these in shops now so delighted to find my favourite work shoe available online. This style is smart and the heel is the perfect height for comfort, yet with a bit of class. 4 stars instead of 5 because the patent cracks around the little toe area - even faster if your feet are any wider than normal. (I still keep buying them though!)

A wardrobe staple!These are my fourth pair of Assist flats; they're such a handy and comfy shoe and, for me, the best fit of all the Gabor styles I have. The patent helps to make them smart enough to dress up as well as looking good with jeans and ankle grazers. I wear them all year round!

A pretty style shoe fits nicely ,perfect for those of us who want something special but without a heal .i bought these for my sons wedding later this month ,so as yet I havnt worn them out ,but they are comfortable so I don't expect any problems .

Comfortable and smart flat shoes. Good with trousers and not covered with decorative "bling" which can be obtrusive.I have other Gabor shoes which have proved hard wearing and good value so anticipate these will be the same.

Arrived today a bit narrow on my right feet however comfortable, I've placed the narrower shoe in my shoe's stretcher. They are a lovely pair of shoes I could not buy pumps any where else that looks good on my wide feet.

These are lovely shoes but tend to be on the small and narrow side, even though I ordered my usual size. Maybe the fact that they are patent with very little give is the reason. Unfortunately I had to return them.

I love these shoes,I bought the blue ones a couple of years ago and they are still like new,despite wearing them day after day,but Gabour shoes are always good,and these were £35. Cheaper than in the shops.

I loved the shoes, it was well made, but comes up a half size too small. the shoe fitted more like a 4 and not a 4.5. Was disappointed to have had to return them, but too small and would be uncomfortable.

Was struggling to find a pair of navy shoes but I have been wearing Gabor shoes for many many years and I like the styles and the fit is perfect for my feet.Navy was difficult to find in any make of shoe.

Having had these shoes before, I knew they would be a good fit, they were very comfortable and long lasting.I have trouble getting shoes to be comfortable yet look smart, I was pleased with my shoes.

Dainty shoes even for a size 7 in such a classic style. They are timeless and make for a sophisticated look. Comfortable and wear well. These have been favourites of mine for a long time.

This is the second pair of Gabor shoes I have purchased as they are a wide fit and extremely comfortable, hard wearing and the patent makes them a little more elegant for flat shoes

Can wear them with anything skirts, dress, trousers... even jeans!They can look smart or casual & extremely comfortableAlways get asked about them and this is my 3rd pair.
