Only time can tell but the toner is working as it should in my old Laserjet 1200 printer. Total page count to date has been recorded and in a year or three's time when it runs out I'll know how sensible a buy it has been.Addition Dec 2010 - I paid only £15 for this item last Feb. but I see it's up to £39.99 now so it pays to monitor prices it seems.

I had bought non-HP alternatives once before - not happy, not a success! Have had HP printers for years and as a principle always used HP cartridges - ought to have known better. The deposit was thin so at times it was difficult to read. So went back to HP as standard. Excellent!

I bought this genuine HP toner for nearly half the price that it was in Staples and it was delivered and in my printer less than 24 hours after it was ordered. I would definitely use this company again and wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending them to others.

Good value for money and if it lasts as long as the last one I bought it will be very good. The last one I bought a few years ago was twice the price of the one from Amazon. Delivery was quick, packaging was good and it was easy to install.

The original and the best - last one lasted 3 years, came as a bit of a shock having to buy one as i have been able to blagg them from work in the past - retirement does have some drawbacks then!!!!!!!

Always reliable, I find HP cartridges deliver every time, with consistent ink flow and good coverage. Just wish they weren't as expensive, although per copy costs are reasonable over the long term.

Bought this as a replacement cartridge. It is just like the one it replaced, so no complainants there.The packaging is nice as it can be used to send the old cartridge back for recycling.

Great cartridge. Expensive, but never has let me down and I've been using it for years now. Only black and white, but robust.

Arrived in 2 days - i'd expected a week. New, factory sealed box. Genuine HP, not a copy. Very pleased.
