This Q-Connect HP 364XL Cartridge looks well produced and installed in my HP7520 Multifunction Printer readily, except, of course, that it doesn't show how much ink is remaining because it isn't an HP original cartridge. However, I don't find the lack of an ink indication a great handicap as even with genuine cartridges the indicator reminds me of old car fuel gauge as it stays on full for quite a while and then rapidly depletes.In use the black produced by this ink is deep and I can't detect any difference from an original although sometimes any differences manifest themselves over a protracted period of time especially in photographs through discolouration etc.

I’ve used HP genuine inks for a long time, but they’re a rip off in terms of cost and I think they’ve got less in them than they used to have. So I’ve been using non HP for a while, the ink quality seems as good to me, but you don't get the low ink warning that you do with HP genuine inks, so you have to keep an eye on the print quality and decide for yourself, you also need to keep spares at home as you’re not getting the warning for low ink. This is fine for black, but if the colour looks off its not so easy to tell which colour cartridge needs replacing.These Q connect inks seem comparable with other non HP inks. If you use non HP inks then HP wont take responsibility for damage to your printer.

I don't know why the manufacturer doesn't list the compatible machines on this page but makes you wait until you receive the cartridge to know whether it fits for definite or not. Branded printer ink is very expensive and recycled cartridges if at a better price are worthy of consideration. I added this cartridge to a mix of other recycled and one HP cartridge. I then printed a black and white A4 print on glossy photo paper. The image looks good I can't tell it from an HP cartridge.Recycled ink cartridges do have one down side, when you put them in your printer knows they are not genuine, and they never appear full. The means that you need to judge the print quality by eye to decide when a cartridge needs replacing. When its the black which goes it can be tricky to decide if its black or photo black, and its not saving if you replace both when only one needs changing.

This arrived just in time as my printing was beginning to look a little odd with the black ink very slowly dying!Printer inks are an odd product to review, as there is not a lot to say about them.....The cassette was easy enough to install, (But aren't they all?)The print quality was fine,nice and dark when I printed off a document,There has been no leakage from the cassette.The product page says that one cassette will print 550 pages.....call me a pessimist but I have yet to see a print cartridge for my printer that will print a quarter of that!.....However at some stage I will return and edit this review if the claim proves to be anywhere near correct!

I have been using compatible ink cartridges with my Hewlett-Packard Photosmart since the little free ink cartridges ran out and I haven't really noticed any difference in quality of printing. The cartridges are accepted fine. You do get a little message saying that you aren't using a branded Hewlett-Packard product but all you need to do is press okay and then everything works as normal.This particular cartridge is compatible with the DeskJet, the OfficeJet, Photosmart, Photosmart estation, Photosmart Plus, Photosmart premium and Photosmart wireless. But do check your specific series numbers before ordering.

Great product so far. Having used lots of recycled cartridges there have been no surprises with this one. My HP 5520 Photosmart can tell it's not a genuine HP cartridge and so I don't see an ink level, but it's otherwise happy to proceed. The 5520 printer is not listed as compatible on the box (and I suspect there are others missing) but I knew it accepted HP 364 cartridges.This cartridge is photo black which looks a bit more glossy than normal but prints fine on the paper I use, though I would still recommend using normal matte black on printer paper. On glossy photo paper this is the ink to use.

The Q-Connect Ink for HP 364XL Ink fitted the HP printer without issue. Considering the price you pay for this cartridge and the standard branded package, the quality is very good. Penny for penny each piece of paper you print using black ink is considerably cheaper. Considering what you are getting and the very good ink print quality, there is really is no negatives and reason not to buy this ink cartridge. I consider this good value for money.

I like these replacement cartridges and so far I have had no problems in getting them to work in a more than satisfactory way. I hope that continues to be so, having read recent media reports about HP printer upgrades squeezing out refill cartridges. Best to check first, I think.
