Our old shower used to spray water everywhere, which I only belatedly realised was due to a leak in the hose. I’d been looking for replacements when I was offered this, so was happy to give it a test.For now, we’re only using the head and hose, which it was simple enough for me to screw onto the old fitting myself. The controls would be more fiddly as the water seems to go in a different place, so would probably require a plumber – or at least someone handier than me – to fit. We may be needing a new bathroom sooner or later, so the other bits are in storage until then. In the meantime, it’s still fixed our immediate problem.The hose is unlike any shower hose that I’ve seen before,

I already had a thermostatic shower made by another manufacturer. Whilst it was nice, I’d already got through two as they seem to have a limited lifetime (which may be something to do with the hardness of our water etc). So, when I saw this hansgrohe Crometta 100 thermostatic shower set on Amazon, I thought I’d try this as a replacement. It arrived well packaged, and unpackaging certainly gave an immediate feel of this being a quality shower set. To save pennies, I thought I’d fit it myself (not something I have done before, but as a direct replacement it didn’t look hard, I’d watched the plumber fit the previous two, and the connectors were the correct distance apart for our existing supply).

We replaced an older electric shower with this one, having run the extra pipe beforehand. The electric model never seemed good enough once the colder weather set in so the attraction of having plenty of hot water in a powerful shower was too much to resist. The Hansgrohe brand is one that we’ve bought before so we know we’re getting decent quality, and this model has a great feel to the high-quality materials. All of the components look smart and attractive, and the controls have a good, solid feel to them as well as being easy to use, even with wet hands. The shower experience is very good; we don’t tend to use the Eco setting but still find that we can get a great shower even without turning it to the max.

This item arrived safe and well packaged.This is a great high quality shower unit ready for fitting into any bathroom. It contains everything you would need to fit this yourself. The entire thing is chrome plated and looks incredibly high end.The thermostatic mixer unit is very high quality. It allows you to achieve the perfect temperature at every shower. It even registers even the smallest of temperatures adjustments.The shower head has several great features, so you're able to select a suitable spray mode each time.What a fantastic durable, high end product that would suit any bathroom!I highly recommend this product.

This review concerns the hansgrohe Crometta 100 thermostatic shower set 0.65 m, 4 spray modes, white/chrome, price at review £145.58.Finished in a high quality chrome like material, this shower set for high pressure installations only offers easy individual control of water outlet. Unlike many units that have a single heat / flow arrangement this unit has a single bar control with water temperature one end and flow rate at the other.Probably best installed professionally.

This look absolutely great ! Very stylish and modern. Simple to work shower one side you twist to find yourself the perfect temperature and the other side to pick the strength / power of the water. Got a man coming to install it in the next few days, we have a very similar one in our bedroom bathroom so already know it’s going to be perfect. Proper metal on the item all round, no cheap plastic !
