When I bought this I did think it was a tad pricey but I'd already fitted a Hansgrohe bath mixer which, I had not realised did not come with the shower head. My bad for not reading the description properly.And I repeated my mistake here again. I figured for the price which, is way higher than generic heads the hose would come with it.Nope.All that money only buys the actual head itself. It's not great value to be honest.However, putting that aside, the fact is that this is a very good quality item and it certainly works well. It's good in the hand and the water flow in all modes is well controlled. That money has made a difference for sure.Bottom line is that I should have accepted that buying German designed quality was not going to be quite as cheap as the initial prices suggested.

I bought and installed this shower head six months ago. The original shower head, which was Italian made, served for EIGHTEEN years. It started leaking from the sides of the moving face disc. After a long search I became convinced that the same product was not available any more, so I bought a very similar (almost identical) one made in China, at a very affordable price. In less than two weeks some of its water outlets became clogged or semi-clogged, as a result of which water started dripping from some outlets and spraying in all directions from others. And despite the manufacturer's claim, it was almost impossible to clean the water outlets and restore normal shower effect.

i bought this after using one at a Riu Palace Hotel/ Resort and absolutely loved it, the missus also loved it. i actually ended up buying it online while we were still at the resort and it was at my desk waiting for me when i got home from the holiday. it gets 4 stars instead of 5 because to use the 4th setting, you really do need very high water pressure. we run ours at just over 1 bar and that is the bare minimum i would say for this shower head. i read someone saying they had problems with leaks where the hose meets the handle. we ended up using both the supplied washer as well as the existing washer for it to be watertight. i guess it all depends on how much screw thread there is on the hose vs the one on the handle.

I bought this shower head as a replacement for my Mira Sport electric shower with Airboost. The original shower head was leaky and dripped. I was hoping for a similar selection of shower effects, but the Croma has 4 settings that are very similar and that just reduce the spray diameter step by step, but the actual spray effect is much the same for each setting. It is possible to use the Mira's Airboost device if you remove the plastic filter device from the Croma. Unfortunately the Airboost does not seem to function very well with the Croma, and is spluttery. I therefore decided in the end to buy a new Mira shower head identical to the one originally suppplied by Mira.

At the end of the day this is simply a shower head: a sealed shape that lets water out in a controlled way. It's not rocket science. This particular model has some heft and doesn't leak, save where intended. Unlike the description, it does not seem to have 4 modes: it adjusts seamlessly, without 4 steps or clicks, from rainfall to a more focused, sharper blast. It lacks the full range you might expect: the rain mode is a little stronger than ideal, and the focused blast is less aggressive than others. But what you lose on adjustment (very little) is made up for by the solid build, so, for me, this is a 4+ review. If it had a wider margin of adjustment, 5 stars.

Very big in diameter. Too big. Good if you wish for a rain shower (I believe that is why so large). Good 4 settings, 1st is rain, using all the circles (the holes are positioned in 5 round circles) , 2nd is less rain by having a bit of more pressure (using one less circle), then the 3rd my favorite, using only 3 circles of holes and is more powerful, last the 4th which uses only 2 circles of holes in the middle and has the most pressure, powerful massaging feel. I like it, but wold have preferred smaller diameter.

Typical Hansgrohe quality, it does exactly what it says and the flow is just right for an eco shower head. No complicated spray patterns, simply it goes from wide to narrow in 4 stages which the pressure increasing at each stage. The full open is a lovely rain shower and we use the next one down for shampoo.. there on in it gets quite "spashy" with the force so for us we stay on the first two settings as we have shower bath but in a cubicle it would be perfectly okay.

We love this hand held shower head. Its "ECO" i.e. 9l/m without feeling like there is less water. We had the same normal hand held and when I installed this shower head you could not tell the difference. Knowing that by using this we are saving water makes it even more worth it. It has 4 modes and they are do the job depending on what you need it for. Massage mode etc. I probably wouldn't use any other shower head ever as this I've found to have everything we need.

Great product delivered well packaged and early. Already have one and brought this one to replace naff one in bathroom. Very good product and only not five stars as had similar problem as other reviewers in needing new washers. Got round it leaking in my case by using old washer and new one together. However washers are very cheap to buy from amazon/screwfix so not a problem as most likely the hose using is the issue rather than shower head.

this is a good dare i say very good hand shower, bear in mind i also have a wide bore 13mm shower hose and decent pressure coming from the combi boileri've tried Mira nectar and mira response as well as the 'Large 3 Function Shower Head Handset in Chrome' from amazonthey were ok but something was missinghowever when tried this I actually came out of the shower happy! , hehe - all functions are usefulbuy this can't go wrong

Being able to adjust the spray pattern is great.We have s combo boiler and this shower head works brilliantly on the lowest pressure/highest flow setting. Other shower heads with smaller/fewer holes and more powerful jets didn’t reliable start-up our boiler.But if you want more powerful jets, this adjustable shower head will almost certainly give you exactly what you want.

Bought for use with our 1.5 bar power shower. Choice of four spray patterns give a good balance between a relaxing shower through to a really invigorating one.However, when first installed, water leaked from connection to existing hose (which is very good quality and did not require replacement). This was rectified by using a second washer inside the fitting.

I love this shower head. The water falls like soft rain but plenty of it. I have a walk in shower but hated the shower head which was quite small (rectangular shape). On holiday in Cornwall we bathroom had a wonderful shower and I wanted the same. I found it in this shower head. Def recommend.

This is a very well finished showerhead. The handle has one flat side which makes it easier to hold when reaching awkward places than a purely round handle and the showerhead is significantly larger than the one we had before which means that we get a very much more gentle and soothing shower.

This is a straight replacement for my original Hansgrohe head which was around 18 years old.Would have lasted another 18 years if someone hadn't put neat bleach into it and left it overnight. Wasn't quite the same after that.Wouldn't buy any other manufacturer's shower gear.
