Don't make the same mistake as me. This is a showerhead holder only. the part that holds the showerhead does not swivel. It is in a fixed, vertical position. It cannot therefore be used for actually showering under. I wrongly assumed that something at this price which called itself "universal" would swivel. There are other (even more expensive) Grohe "sliders" which do this but not this one. I am sure that this would be perfectly good as a showerhead holder but I had to send mine back so can't really comment!
