Grohe taps aren't cheap (in comparison with lots of other available products), but as an Engineer (Electrical) myself, I do appreciate the build quality and overall construction.We are in the process of a house refurbishment, and now have Grohe taps in our 3 bathrooms, and cloakroom. The kitchen and utility room are in progress of refurb, and again - Grohe taps (this model) in both.I was a little wary of the mechanism where you can release the the spout and pull out (flexible metallic hose) to direct jet (jet or spray) to a specific area - great for cleaning the sink without splashing water everywhere. This is the updated model, and the retractable nozzle is via a counterbalancing weight that allows easy in and out.
