I've bought both a metal and plastic version of this shower head. They both perform perfectly well. The difference is on the weight of the thing. This one is much lighter than the metal one but that does not affect the quality feel of it. We've used the plastic one in the bath so if it were to be dropped off would not put a dent in the surface of the bath which the metal one would most certainly do.In terms of water flow, we live in a low pressure area and have a salamander pump to increase pressure to normal levels. The shower has no dedicated pump. We find the lower number of nozzles on these shower heads increases the pressure at which the water comes out and is better than those shower
