Bought this Grohe flex hose to replace my Tempest 100 shower hose that wasn't leaking but the plastic outer had cracked at the shower head connection point and was difficult to remove from the holder on the rising bar.The new one arrived and came with new washers already fitted and was no trouble connecting up but noticed that the coils on the new hose no longer had the plastic covering that the other one had on the outside of the coils, it seems far easier to use than the old type as it's not stiff when using to rinse off and fits the holder better than the other type and hangs tidy when not using, my only concern is that the coils might scratch the fittings or tiles but so far seems to be ok,
