A great motherboard from Gigabyte for those who are not looking to overclock and so saving money on a H170 chipset. The board offers good on board audio. Installation of all the components was fast and easy with no issues. First time boot up went with no issues and windows 10 was installed and now everything is working well. Easy to navigate BIOS, all the latest drivers where downloaded from the website. Also comes with a CD with all the drivers but is recommend to use the website. It has a gold LED strip that runs down the whole board that lights up when powered on.

I know nothing about mother boards, but I know I needed to include one in the building my new PC. I bought this as it came recommended in some reviews. I plugged all my components into it and it has worked just fine ever since. The reason I deducted a star is because the software included Google Chrome as an integral part of the installation software. I was hoping it would have been decent software that did not contain malware such as Google Chrome. I had to spend a few minutes removing this virus from my brand new PC build.

Purchased this motherboard after reading lots of great reviews about it. For none overlockers and users of AMD graphics card, this is a great motherboard with lots of future proof features. The decorative yellow led lights were a nice addition.My rig is as follow:- Intel i5 skylake 6500- RX480 8GB ram (yes I brought the graphics card from Gigabyte too as the pricing is better than ASUS)- Samsung EVO 850 120GB SSD HD- 1 TB regular HD- 16GB DDR4 ram- 500W PSU- Corsair mid tower enclosure

The thing I really want to point out here is that it only comes with two SATA cables. That means if you have a HDD, a SSD and a DVD/BD drive, you'll need to provide an additional SATA. If you have multiple of either then that's a lot more you have to sort out. I felt this was a bit stingy of them since it's pretty unusual to just have 2 SATA devices in a PC.Other than that, no complaints. The CPU installed easily and the fan was a breeze to click into place.

Clear manual (also available online) which steps you through Bios settings.Installing the cpu and cabling was straightforward with no issues.Have installed Windows 10 with Intel Raid 5 across 3 3.5" disks - the volume isn't recognised until the raid is built (which takes 5 or 6 hours) but all works well.Highly recommended

Excellent board, but one minor problem, I could not get the onboard Intel LAN to work in my Microsoft Home Server 2011, as the supplied Intel drivers plus those from the Intel site, stated that no Intel LAN was present, so I just plugged in a Realtek 1Gb LAN card I had available, problem solved.

Only had for a few days so not a thorough review by any means. Word of warning for windows7 . when installing the usb3 drivers, during the process all USB ports get disabled, so you can't click "next". Remedy - use an old PS/2 keyboard for install..afters USB ports can be used as normal.
