Initially I was confused and disappointed with this product and ultimately got a bad nights sleep using the plastic-wrapped small package I had received as a pillow only, because it would not reach my feet, and I had read once that elevated feet whilst sleeping can cause irreparable piles. Then after advice from a fellow taxidermist it eventually became to me immediately apparent that the device has been compacted for reasons of portability and practicality. After inserting a mixture of carbon dioxide and spent oxygen through a tube (via the main orifice in my head) a tube not dissimilar to a the valve on a car tyre (but thankfully without the grime)

Used this recently in a tent in very cold weather. I've never seen one before so wasn't expecting much especially considering the thickness.Well I think it's a good bit of kit. This one's easily long enough. A tad narrow perhaps but adequate, and certainly provides good insulation from the cold ground. As for comfort. well..it's definitely better than the old foam roll mats. It's not a memory foam mattress of course but I'm impressed by the comfort it does manage to provide considering it's design and size.If anybody's trying to decide between an old style foam mat and one of these I'd recommend you try this one.

I have used this product only once during a camping trip but so far I am very impressed. I have a thermarest and to be honest I really cannot tell the difference other than this item is a fraction of the cost. My wife had a good nights sleep on it during our camping trip and the mattress comes with a very handy bag that it can be stored in. It is small and compact enough for hiking and trekking yet full length.

Bought this to go to Glasto as fed up of carting a heavy airbed through miles of car park fields!Tested it in the garden, inflates quickly, comfy to lie-on and rolls back up into the bag with no problem. Also very light so it's perfect for festival use.Arrived promptly, well packaged and intact.

I wanted something light for hiking/camping. Didnt want a half size mat. This one fits inside rucsack with with all my gear. Comfortable considering the thickness of these things. Not a king size memory foam matress with down topper, but good enough for hiking for a few days.

Really good price for the quality of the item, I bought this to go on a trek and for a festival.Haven't yet tested it fully but it packs down small and inflates to a good size but what I would say is that it does need a few breaths to inflate it but so far so good.

Excellent delivery time from the supplier. This is the first time I have used one of these self inflating mats and I had a wonderful sleep. I go camping and on overnights with the guides quite a lot and this is one of the best nights sleep I have had.

great mattress. stayed filled with air. i found it tricky to roll afterwards but then a friend informed me i needed to close the nozzle as i was releasing the air to ensure it didn't re-inflate. top tip and very happy with my camping mattress.

The Item arrived very quickley, everything went smoothly and easily. The mat is very comfortable and should give melots of nights rest whilst camping, will be taking it to germany in summer so will be tried and tested by then.

Awesome sleep mat would recommend I've used it countless of times it's worth is weight in gold but it's about the same size as the scrap rubber sleep mats you get so they don't really pack down very well

Not bad , was very easy to blow up , very easy to deflate too . Work well , better than some air beds with lots of air as it did not lose any air. Ok width but would not suit someone very broad

Great mat, especially when you consider the price. It inflates well, folds up nice and neat and after 2 weeks of road testing the two mats we bought, they are still going strong!

The best self inflator I've ever had, a good, solid, well made piece of kit, dosen't get nasty, baggy or lumpy if I choose to add more air, keeps its shape really well.

comfortable, easy to use, generous size for sleeping on and good value for the money. If packed size is your priority there are better models but are very much dearer.

Really lightweight but robust. There are a lot of expensive one's out there but this one ticks the boxes. Also very comfortable even on a rock surface!
