This tent has been among the best I've ever owned. I've taken it wild camping, beach camping, festival camping... It's been out four to five times a year since its purchase. It has never leaked, and never needed repair, and considering I've taken it up and down the Scottish countryside on very uneven ground, sometimes with sneaky surprise tree roots that we didn't see at first, that's saying something.It is light enough for one person to have in a rucksack and hike up a hillside. I don't drive, so every bit of equipment I take camping has to comfortably fit in a single rucksack that I'd be happy to walk with for some time. It's not the lightest tent on the market,

Bought this Gelert Rocky 3 man tent for a weekend of camping in Wiltshire. I have never camped before (not even as a girl guide) so this was a whole new experience for me. Put tent up in the back garden on a trial run during a lovely dry weekend in March and had intentions of doing the same until my May camp. Had read other reviewers saying it took them next to no time to put up. First go took me an hour bearing in mind I had never done this before.Tent comes in small bag with handy instructions sewn in. On day of camping think it went up in about 20 mins so had managed to get my 1 hour down significantly!Was sharing the tent with one other.

This tent is for the most part a brilliant festival tent. I used mine twice last year and it held up really well to the close proximity camping, drunken people falling onto it, etc.It is NOT suitable for 3 people unless all you have in the tent are 3 people. There is not even enough room inside for a double airbed! But I managed to get a 3/4 airbed from Argos, so I was fine!Porch is a life saver for keeping muddy boots in!I managed to put this tent up all by myself after several large glasses of vodka, and if I can do it, anyone can! Also, taking it down was simple too. The bag is compact and you can strap it nicely to a rucksack.One of the better points I found was that we were able to use it as a guide to find our tents in the field as no one else had one last year.

Excellent tent, just used for the first time. Easy to put up but test drive it in your garden before taking it anywhere so you get the hang of it... the included instructions are just pictures that are as helpful as a 4 year old with a crayon and if you're trying to do it whilst raining you'll wish you'd tried it first. Takes about 10 minutes to put up on my own.Give up all hope of getting it back into the provided bag. Clearly folded by a machine in a factory with a bag designed to match the machine, you'll never manage the same again - especially if its got damp whilst you took it down etc. Bag needs to be a good 2-3cm larger in all dimensions to allow us mere mortals to stand a chance.Rained during use,

Great tent, very compact to carry, very easy to put up, simple in its structure and kept everything dry. I've got used to a tent where the outer liner is attached firmly to the inner tent part so I was initially a little annoyed at the simple ties to connect one part to the other but after a night in the tent it actually seems to keep things dry well and was fine in a decent wind.It does get a bit bright in the morning (if you buy the orange one). It felt brighter in the tent than it actually was outside!Having owned a number of tents I can say that it isn't be biggest three man tent going but it is so compact and easy to take up/down that if you want a really durable tent for two people,

We bought a load of these for school dofe use by teenagers. They get pretty heavy use and survive reasonably well, except the fibre-glass poles have a relatively short life if handled too roughly. The kids like them because they are easy to erect, look good (like a tent "should" look like) and arguably look more expensive than than they are.The ONE snag is that there is no guy rope pulling the flysheet away from the inner on each side. This means it has to be pitched really well to avoid the outer touching the inner, which always leads to a leak!Nevertheless, a great tent for summer conditions and local hikes rather than mountainous conditions in wet Wales. Good for the money,

All in all, a great little tent for weekend camping trips/festivals etc. We took it on a three night surfing trip and it suited us very well - quick and easy to put up and good quality for the price. Perhaps a little on the small side for a three-man tent, I've certainly slept in larger three-mans in the past, but the dark green colour helps to keep the tent shady in the mornings when you're trying to sleep and the front porch is a really useful feature for storage and so on. We'd definitely recommend this tent, but bear in mind that although it's a three-man it's best suited to two adults if you're looking for comfortable living and sleeping space.

Used this for two weeks camping in Poland for the Euros and it's a great tent.Perfect for two people and their rucksacks with the porch offering an extra storage area for items.Very easy to pitch and can be done in a matter of minutes.We got caught in a couple of thunderstorms and on one particular occassion it lashed for ours with the rain being as heavy as i've witnessed in person. The tent stood up though to the high winds and torrential rain and remained dry inside. It's truly waterproof.Absolutely delighted with this purchase. Top quality tent. Would definitely recommend it.

This tent was relatively easy and quick to put up and take down, and very roomy for 2people with extra room for gear etc. Liked the colour of the red/charcoal, looked good up too. It stood up to severe winds camping in the outer Hebrides, but not used it in rain so can't comment on that but it seems as if it would stand up to that too. All in all very pleased with the product and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as a good all round tent for most conditions, and a good size for 2 peope. Excellent.

We bought this tent for a 4 days long English festival with my girlfriend, just got back. The tent was exellent, didnt let in water at all, tiny bit of condensation but nothing disturbing. We had lot of room for storage, probably 3 person would sleep all right as well.Very easy to erect after one tryout at home, it took 10-15 mins at the festival. Would definately recommend to try it out somewhere because of the size and to learn how to.Highly recommended!

Been to many festivals, used many tents.The particular festival I used this tent for was extremely hot and dry, so I couldn't really comment on how waterproof etc.However, the tent was really easy to put up - took 2 of us around 10-15 mins to complete, stayed down really well in quite windy conditions and felt very sturdy. There was only 2 of us in the tent but 3 would fit comfortably and the porch was a decent size.All in all, very good tent.

Excellent tent for me on my own with all my gear inside. Never camped before, no idea what I was doing, but went up fairly easily with advice from others on the campsite. Side of a mountain, lashing rain all night, high winds, dry as a bone. You would get two people in there if you left your stuff in the porch (which is reasonably dry but not entirely), but 3 would be seriously pushing it.

Love this tent! I never write reviews but felt willed to do so. I bought this for a trip to Victoria Falls for Christmas 2014 - usually very rainy but warm at this time of year & this tent stayed super dry & no condensation! No insects, stood strong & very spacious inside. My brother and I slept comfortably with room between us & he is quite tall. Excellent strong & reasonably priced.

Used tent around the lake district on climbing outing, didn't really get much weather for it to stand up to this time but will deffinetly be be coming with me on the rest of my outings.Easy to set up and pack up on my own.3 man would be a struggle, 2 man with a little room more realistic - For me great 1 man and all my kit :)

Bargain little tent from Amazon. Quick delivery (before the earliest expected date - and over Jubilee weekend!) and at a great price.Haven't had a chance to camp in it yet, but after unpacking and thoroughly examining the tent all seems fine.Will edit review once I've had a chance to try it properly.
