Ok ...At 65 years old I wasn't attempting a bronze beach babe look. I simply wanted tanned legs so I could wear short dresses instead of maxi length and I dont want tights of any sort or I cant wear my collection of pretty sparkly flipflops/sandals. My arms and shoulders and back tan naturally but my legs are milk bottles. In the past I once tried a fake tan but what a dismal mess. I didnt know they had improved so much! This Ambre Solaire natural bronzer is amazing. I chose medium. The smell is pleasant just like any perfumed lotion. When you spray its a mist not a really wet spray. Also there is no colour to the mist when it first goes on.It took several hours..all evening for the tan to develop on me .and because it seemed nothing was happening at first..I panicked and sprayed both legs and feet again..but its ok..my legs are now lovely and tanned. No streaks at all. No mess. No smell. Hasnt transferred to anything..clothes..armchair..etc...I have visible veins on one leg and quite a few patches of spider veins and they are much less noticeable now. You can still see them but the tan does make flaws look less ugly. No idea how long the tan will stay but I will just spray as needed I guess. Apart from daily showers I dont get my legs wet as in the sea or swimming pools so cant comment on that subject. My one mistake was I didnt spray right up to panty line..but will do that tomorrow. It does look like Ive been on a holiday now as my legs now match my arms and upper body. I wouldnt tan my face as I do a full make up everyday and use bronzing pearls. Below my cleavage my torso does not get publicy displayed! What? After 5 kids? Noooooooo! Im glad I checked all the reviews and chose this product. The secret I think to an even look is keep can about a foot away from your skin and KEEP MOVING so you dont spray in one place for more than a second really. Its easy..really. I f I can get it right anyone can. I trusted and followed the instructions. DO NOT rub in. It doesn't need it at all. Oh and it dries nice and quickly too. Fantastic product!! Try it.

After just 1 application I saw a result after just an hour or two!I have used some self tan stuff in the past and was actually put off until in desperation I bought this. Looking at other products I was tempted to spend £20-£30 on expensive brands but read the reviews for this and thought I would try it. I am very happy with it and would highly recommend this product.I have a pretty bad complexion, although I have a relatively olive tone, I have some red blotchy patches from a laser treatment I did earlier this year which have not disappeared and some scarring from acne and large pores, and this spray has helped blend in the blotchy red patches with a more tanned even look (no streaks)so the inconsistencies on my face are less obvious, I usually look good with a tan anyway so this product allows me to save my skin from sun damage and maintain a relatively healthy look. So I am happy to continue using this product indefinately and recommend it for a consistent streak-free look and improve the appearance of uneven blemished skin tones on olive skin types without the need for make-up (dread the thought).The only criticism and this is just a general comment is that it smells like fake tan, however if you apply in the evenings on a day to day basis you can probably get away with going to the work during the day and apply only at night without smelling like 'the fake tan gimp' at work. That way your secret regime isn't obvious until Winter, but by then everyone is probably used to seeing your bronzed look on a day to day basis they might even consider you of latin ethnicity. And the colour builds after a few days (although you get good results after just one treatment). Hold 40cm from the face front on and spray up and down twice at full spray for a second or 2. Tilt head to left spray up and down twice. Tilt head to right, spray up and down twice. Et Voila! Tan in 2 hours! Streak-free.

It has the most delicious light aroma, feels cool on application and provides a lovely feeling of moisturisation. None of the other after sun lotions I've tried come close. This product contains a hint of fake tan to top up your tan - so for that reason I apply using latext gloves to ensure I don't get orangey hands!=== THINGS I LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT ===* Smooth white cream that spreads out easily and soaks in quickly leaving a non-greasy finish and the skin feeling beautifully moisturised* With regular use,it does add a subtle hint of colour to your tan to keep it going* Lovely light pleasant aroma* Didn't irritate the skin at all* Sturdy plastic tube with well-fixed cap meaning it's safe to carry around in a bag without worrying it'll leak or crack=== NIGGLES ===* There are cheaper products available (but I'd rather spend more for this one)=== PACKAGING & PRICE ===The product is contained in a sturdy plastic tube with a plastic cap that snaps on securely, making it suitable for carrying round in your bag without fear of spilling. This spray was easy to apply quickly and evenly. It dries in about 30 seconds and did not come off on my clothes, including an under-wired white bra which I put on about a minute or so after using the spray. It smells of hairspray, which makes a change from the usual harsh fake pineapple scent of self-tanners. I could smell it through two layers of clothes for a long time after using it though. which wasn't so good.They claim that it takes 3 hours to develop, and that seemed to be the case. After the first application, the colour change was barely there, which for me is a good thing because I'm not confident with tanning products. It just took the pasty-white away. After two applications ,it looked like a pale tan which was plenty for me. The colour is quite natural.Oddly, the instructions tell you not to rub it in, but also to wash your hands afterwards as if you had. I didn't rub it in or wash my hands either and was pleased with the even coverage.Obviously, the back of your legs are always going to be tricky on your own, but this spray is easier than most, especially if you use a full-length mirror to guide you. I'm Impressed.

GOOD RESULTS=============I applied by spraying and made sure it was applied quickly. It left me with a nice golden tan and felt very nourishing.As it is simply sprayed on, it's almost like spraying a car. I did need a little help around the back.SMELL=====Pleasant.PALE LEGS==========I have pale legs. Very pale legs. My legs are OK but you'd miss them in the snow.And... when I say they're OK, that as far a compliment I can give my legs: veins, stretch marks and normal non-model-like legs.So I'm an ideal candidate for tanning lotion. I've tried a few.THIS ONE========What I wanted. Even coverage, no streaking, and a healthy looking, realistic glow.The colour choices can be a little confusing.Or too broad. Dark. How dark?This one is not too dark, maybe if you have an existing tan this would be fine.COLOUR=======The colour is really nice, and looks like a realistic tan. Not the fake orange that you sometimes see. SUN TAN MAINTAINER=================I really like this although I must admit that it's not what it promises. It says it "maintains" a tan but for me it's simply a good aftersun product, that moisturises and as a consequence moisturised skin does seem to keep a tan longer.For the purpose of review. I used another Ambre Solaire aftersun on one arm, and this on the other. Looking at both arms now: there's no discernible difference.LIGHTWEIGHT===========It's a rather nice aftersun. Not too greasy, but I wouldn't describe it as lightweight. It's not too heavy or gloopy. It's just not lightweight. It's not a pump action, simply squirt and apply.I prefer this as I find the pump action never lets you get the bottom of the bottle.SMELL======Some aftersuns have an over powering fragrance. Whilst this is really pleasant. Sort of fruity.GREASY=======No.PROS=====Effective aftersunA nice lotion that feels substantialvery pleasant smellgood brand200 mlsCONS=====Its claim of maintaining a tan.OVERALL=======A good sized aftersun. I have been using this Garnier mist tan in shade 'medium' on my face for YEARS now. (I use the 'body' one on my face as it's the exact same, just better value for money). After washing my face, I spray on every night before bed (just so you can feel the mist all over your face/neck, then let it dry for a few minutes) and wake up with a glow, no streaks or marks at all, just an even, bronzed look.Everyone is so surprised when they know I'm not wearing foundation - it has meant I no longer need to wear any foundation at all - it gives a perfectly even and natural colour due to how fine the mist is. I do however avoid using this tan on my body as I think spray mists can look uneven over bigger areas such as your legs/tummy,but I do use on my chest and arms sometimes and it comes out very well.If you hate putting mousse/liquid tan on your face due to it making your skin patchy etc., then this is perfect. When tanning my whole body, I use the mousse/liquid of another brand then simply spray this over my face with more than normal and it blends well and looks natural.

This is an after sun tan maintainer and hydrater. Now I thought it was just an after sun and yes it is, but it also enhances your tan – which to be fair I am not overly worried about as I prefer things to be natural. And acts as an hydration aid for your skin.However, after a few days in the sun I noticed my skin was starting to look a bit tired (I am over fifty but fit as they say) and I used this and my skin looked and felt better and the following day my tam looked more alive than it had the previous evening. This may be a natural occurrence but I had never noticed that before.It is a thick cream and it does require massaging in – but that is a sign that it actually contains substantial ingredients – and it is very well absorbed.It also doesn’t feel sticky afterwards; that is after some twenty minutes or so. The tube is well made and easy to use and most of all this is a tried and tested product from a brand I trust. I thought I was going to be non plussed by this but instead I am thinking this is the one I shall use from now on.

In winter months, you sometimes want to add a little colour to help you keep that carefully obtained tan in the summer. So what are you going to do? Well I'd suggest using this pleasant smelling tanning mist. Its a reasonable price, allows you to apply quite easily in an even coat and over the course of a few hours allows you to develop a colour that will make you happy, if you feel its still a little pale for what you want, apply again.However what I would say is that before application, the first thing you need to do is prepare the skin properly 24 hours before using it, thats with a good buffing and shave to remove any unwanted hairs and dead cells.This will help ensure a good even coverage as well as allowing you to make sure that it lasts a good while so you don't need to apply again quickly or finding that it leaves it a little patchy. Other than that a good shake before applicateion makes this an easy to use product, although one thing I would say is have a friend on hand to get those tough to reach places.

Whilst I have used Ambre Solaire products for years this is the first time I have used this particular product. It is an after sun tan maintainer which actually works. My skin was a little sore after an afternoon in the garden so I used this and it did soothe my skin perhaps not quite as much as my normal after sun does but if definitely helped.It also works as a self tanner as my skin was definitely darker on my arms where I had applied this lotion. It comes in a generously sized tube so is excellent value for money. I love the smell it is light and fruity not at all like fake tan smells and also absorbed into my skin really quickly. Overall I loved this product as a tan maintainer,after sun and also a boost for the tan too. I will definitely buy this product again and have no hesitation in recommending.

I've used products from Garnier before and I find this No Streaks Bronzer to actually be rather good.Enriched with Apricot it smells a bit chemically but not overly unpleasant. I found application to be keep and easy with very fast drying times whihc is good as it means you can apply and get going without hanging around in odd poses for ages. It develops quite subtly which I prefer as it gives more control over the tan achieved. In all reality depending on your skin tone you are looking at maybe 2-3 coats depending on the tan level you want.Self spraying can be tricky and if at all possibly I'd get someone to give you hand.That said with a pbit of practice and somewhere suitable its not unachievable yourself.Overall the results are good

In the interest of sexual equality, and because my wife wouldn't try it (she is a fan of another famous rub on tan). I decided to give this a bash myself. Having never used a fake tan product, but knowing what they can look like - I though what the hell. It sprays on well and does not come out of the can as a colour (I thought it might come out as a light brown). It then develops over the next few hours.What did I learn?If you are looking for an extra bit of tan for a night out then I would suggest putting this on first thing in the morning or the night before - to get things "going".The colour looks realistic and one application will not turn you mahogany.It just nicely took me from corpse white to day 1 tan level without the sunburn.

Ok so warning for those who just buy things without reading fully! It turns out this has tanning ingredients in it which does not mean tan enhancer it means fake tan, and if like me you’re really pale and very burnt and pile on the after sun all over the affected area, you will tan one patch of you body (in my case just the back of my neck) and it will be INCREDIBLY noticeable!However! It would actually be a great gentle fake tan for those interested, just a word of warning that if you’re burnt in just one area definitely don’t use this or you will wake up rather tanned in a splodgy single area!Other than that it’s actually great and I would buy it again but probably not as an after sun!It would be a great moisturising tan though ?

This is a very good spray-based self tan product. It's quick and easy to use, just spray directly onto the body. No rubbing in required! It comes out in a fine mist which dries on your skin almost instantly, and has a pleasant subtle apricot fragrance. The results are pretty good! Nice bronzed colour which is noticeable straight away and looks natural. Personally I prefer gel based self tan. Yes it's more time consuming and fiddly to apply, but I think it looks more natural and moisturises the skin better, and you have more control over where you apply it. I found this to go pretty much everywhere as the canister has a fairly wide spray field.The results are very good but for me I think I'll be sticking to self tan gel

The mist is very fine, smells ok, similar to others, i applied this morning after exfoliating and washing and just left it on all day, it started to develop after 2 hours, no streaks or orange hairline, good coverage and nice colour, i applied one more time after the first application had dried (around 5 minutes) it has gradually been getting darker over the day. Will wash off in the shower before bed and see the final result in the morning, don't really like using any self tan, but have to be careful in the sun and sunbeds are a no no due to 2 cancer scares, this is far better that st. Tropez cream tan, not as orange and has a nice healthy glow. Would reccomend.
