Everyone who loves a fake tan needs this St. Tropez Prep And Maintain Tan Remover Mousse in their bathroom cabinet for when there’s streaks or dark patches on knees or elbows or even tanned hands! It is super easy to use, just shake well and press down the nozzle to apply the white foam onto the tanned area you want to remove. I applied a few squirts then gently rubbed it over my dry skin and let it dry for the five minutes as suggested on the bottle, then shower it off. However, it didn’t really lift off, so I applied it again, this time leaving it on for 10 minutes then washed it off in warm soapy water. This time my tanned arm looked much lighter though not gone completely.

What a useful product to have to rectify your tanning mistakes! I’ve never used something like this before, and usually always have tanning mistakes to rectify when applying fake tan, so very happy to try this (though the new St Tropez foam quick tan products are ace and no streaks!).Recently I’ve used this as I’ve been applying fake tan on my hubby and somehow managing to get splodges on myself (not quite sure how!). So I used this product to remove them and it does work to a acceptable extent. What I would say is you do need to give the area a good scrub if you need to totally remove the tan (o did this with my nails for good or ill...). If you need to just tone down areas (such as knees,

Hmm, perhaps I have been at the tanning game too long and too regularly for this to be a fair test, but based on the fact this said it ''effectively gets rid off all traces of even the darkest tan in minutes'' I was disappointed - I thought this would be great to use before trying a new lighter tanning mousse I was keen to try as I imagined this stripping my dark fake tan back to my natural very lily white as I've been using self-tanning only and high SPF for a while now, so shouldn't have much any natural colour at all, but this only seemed to lighten my colour rather than remove it. It still took me down a few shades and fairly evenly too, it just didn't remove it completely as it suggested it would.

This arrives in typical St Tropex pump bottle and is attractive bottle.The product is a mousse consistency.It works great for removing streaky tans within day of applying and took straight off and we also used to great affect to tone down a tan ‘when my daughter mistook my healthy glow request as 6 weeks in Caribbean look”.We applied the mousse as we would a tan with a mitt and it does feel a bit sticky on skin, not greatest feeling but small price to instantly fade or remove streaky tan and start again.Im not sure I’d say it totally removes a tan that has been developing for days? I used this tan remover to even out some patchy tan I had from my St.tropez tan. I'm still fairly new the fake tanning so i did have some mistakes.The description does say that this is best used on tans between 1 and 6 days old.I used my fake tan as usual and then used the foam to remove build up/darker tan from areas I didn't do so well.It's a nice foam that feel good when applied to the skin, they recommend using a mitt to apply so I had to wash the one I used for my tan quite throughly.It does seem to lighten the tan rather than remove which is good for me as I didn't want to be even more patchy!

I wanted to review this as I have been dubious at reviewing fake tans, especially if you make a mistake or the colour just goes so wrong but thankfully this now exists and saves the harsh scrubbing. I tried first using a cotton pad to remove and then a flannel, which seemed far better and much easier. I have sensitive skin to a lot of products and so this really appealed to me. I prefer cruelty free products to which this is but also parabens, sulfate and phthalates free too!! I didn't have a remover mit but did as requested but didn't work at first so on the second attempt, I used for longer which worked. Also, I found the use of my flannel much easier and once out the shower I quickly applied a moisturiser after drying.

For me personally this didn't work. I was however using Bondai Sans, so maybe its a little more resiliant than St Tropez.I tried it first after my tan had been on for a week and was patchy. It didn't really do anything and I ended up getting it off with a scrubbing mit instead.I used it the following week same tanner used i found it came off the same way with the mit but the product didn't really lighten my tan at all.I imagine if you want to fade it over the week it would be benificial along side daily exfoliation. I understand the product itself won't remove the tan regardless but my usual does help a lot more.The smell is divine however. Its got a fresh fruity smell.

This is the only eraser I have ever used that has actually worked. Apply generously before a shower, wait around 5 minutes before getting in and your tan literally glides off. Elbows, ankles& in between my fingers need a bit of a scrub, not sticky feeling no offensive smell, it smells really nice for a tan remover. St Tropez Tan Remover has now became my go to if my tan turns out wrongly, It’s so easy to use aswell, what I did notice was my skin felt super soft after using too and I’m so glad I didn’t have to scrub my skin raw to get my wrongly fake tan off & came at the perfect time also, definitely recommend St.Tropez Prep & maintain tan remover mousse

So for the purpose of using this remover and giving it an honest review, I did a really bad tan job on my foot. I really wanted to see exactly what this could do.I took a mitt (because I didn’t have the mitt recommended) and applied it to the area. Left it sitting to do its thing for 5 minutes and found it didn’t remove a lot.I then got an exfoliating glove and put some more mousse on and the difference is unreal, the results speak for themselves.Another bonus for me, is they are against animal testing ?. The product smells unreal to!!It can also be used to prep your skin before tanning to give you a longer lasting tan. So I can’t wait to try that 4*

Designed to prepare the skin for applying fake tan, this improves skin condition which can help lengthen how long your fake tan lasts.Mild scent, very simple to use. Although I have sensitive skin so far, I don't recall ever having any any issues with this manufacturers products. They are good quality tanning/skin care products and many (like this one) are designed to complement and enhance each other. A broad selection of their products are available on Amazon. Really recommend you use a product like this in between topping up a fake tan. Your skin is less likely to have areas that don't 'take' the tan as well due to dry patches etc.

I decided to use self tanning lotions and for some silly reason I have also decided to not wash my hands afterwards but to wipe them in towel instead... I woke up to a nightmare and I had to go like this to work...Once I have used this tan remover, colour of my hands went back to normal- keep in mind that you might need to apply 2-3 times. Nice, delicate scent, easy to use, great value for money. This is a must if you want to experiment with self tanning lotions (believe me).I think this is a brilliant product, I would recommend it.Pictures are not the best ones but believe me- this foam works.

This stuff is fantastic. No more soaking and scrubbing myself raw and spending over an hour just trying to get the old self tanner off. This really works in minutes. Some spots that are especially dry, you may need to keep it on for ten minutes or reapply, but what a difference. I put mine on for about 10 minutes before jumping into the shower. Mostly everything comes off with a washcloth. My skin is also much noticeably softer after using this. Using this has saved me from irritating the spots on my skin that are dry / have eczema further by having to rub the color off.

This product is a mousse and is pleasant smelling. It claims to erase mistakes, prep and prime. I’ve used it on mistakes around problem areas- ankles, knees etc and it does erase but only a little. It didn’t completely clear the dark patch that I had mistakenly left from previous tan. I think if you used it a few times over a few days it would eventually clear dark mistakes.I think it works better as a primer before applying tan- it leaves skin smooth and soft and a nice texture ready to be tanned. I wouldn’t buy it as an eraser but I would buy it as a prepper.

The point of this stuff is to assist in the removal of fake tan, specifically when's its built up to much in certain areas or hard to reach places. My missus wasn't sure how useful it would be, but regularly ended up with buildups around arm pit and inner elbow etc. This stuff is ideal at stripping it back a bit, and with careful use, it can help to achieve a more even blend on darker colours.Does what it says well and acts as an exfoliant as well, so if you do need to remove tan completely this will help to do it without causing too much skin upset.

Finally a way to remove tan that doesn't involve scrubbing your skin raw with gloves or a brillo pad! I put this on before I got in the shower, super easy to apply, not sticky and no offensive smell like some have. I was sceptical at first because I've tried a few that don't work at all but was amazed and how all the old tan washed off with just some soap and water (I used the exfoliator mitt to tackle stubborn patches). Was left with no tan, no redness, just soft and smooth skin. Great product that will be a staple in my cupboard from now on!
