Upgraded from Edge 520 after three years of almost daily use and suffering a failing battery. The edge 530 is definitely a decent improvement. The first impression is it comes on and sets up much quicker. The slightly larger screen is much clearer to read, even when it contains more details. The 530 has plenty of extra features for performance monitoring; comparing ride performance ; or just navigating your way around. Pairing with other non Garmin devices is straight-forward. The auto lighting works well from daylight to dusk. Map zoom is considerably better.I was tempted to consider the touch screen.......but then I thought of bouncing around the muddy trails, and wearing gloves. The buttons work well enough once you remember the which is which. If you’ve had a Garmin already then you will not disappointed. If you haven’t then it takes a while to learn the features you want to use........there are quite a lot.I would also recommend getting the rubber case, which adds lot of protection for £5.And it does fit into the 520 mount, in case like me you use it on Road and Mountain bikes.Battery life is very good. Why only 4 stars? Like most Garmin products it is expensive........you can buy a PC or laptop for a similar sum.......if only I could fit it on the handlebars.Good luck!

In search of a bike computer, I came across this, which has a pretty decent Preisleistungsverhälnis. It is good that the Aero mount is still a standard mount, since I drive RR and MTB. The standard bracket is fixed with spacers and rubber rings. However, the sensors have to be exchanged when changing the wheel. The operation via buttons is initially unfamiliar in the Touch Age. But with gloves better to use. The setup takes some time, but the app for the mobile phone made quite well. So far, I can recommend the device.
