This is a really fun and very easy game to play and my Children love this game. The game is played by whomever does the best chicken impression going first and then play continues in a clockwise direction. Each player throws the dice and has to add either 1 or 2 chickens to Foxy Pants' pockets in his pants depending whether the dice lands on 1 or 2 (there aren't any other numbers on the dice and the dice arrives blank with stickers to attach with number 1 or 2 on them). After the chickens have been added the player presses down on Foxy Pants head until a click is heard and if his pants don't fall down (they actually suck back up inside his feet and its super fast when they do)then play passes to the next person and so on.The game can be played by up to 4 people and each of you has a card chicken coop. When Foxy Pant's pants fall down the first player to fill their card or the player with the most chickens wins but you can only pick one chicken up at a time and only with one hand to make it harder. The game comes with:-1 x Foxy Pants21 x Chickens1 x Dice1 x Sticker sheet4 x Chicken Coop's1 x Game InstructionsWhen you first open the game you will need to put the stickers on for his eyes and tongue (the tongue was a nightmare as his mouth is really difficult to get the tongue straight in) and there are chicken stickers to go on his boxer shorts. You will also need to apply the numbers to the dice. This is a really simple and fun game to play and my children love the pant whizzing action from Foxy Pants. Another bonus is that no batteries are needed to play. A brilliant game and lots of fun.

What a fantastic game! Put one or two chickens in the greedy fox' pockets and press his head until it clicks and let go. If nothing happens it's the next player's turn. At some point the fox' trousers disappear in the blink of an eye (really), and the players then pick up the chickens, that have shot everywhere, one at a time - with one hand, and place them in the chicken coop. First to fill the five spaces wins.Setting the game up is easy. Stick a few stickers on the fox, six stickers on the dice (4 x 1, and 2 x 2) and click together 21 chickens. Fox' trousers need to be pulled out from underneath him, and tucked up around his waist and hold in place by lowering his arms. The rules suggest doing a chicken impression to see who starts first (best one wins) ... this had all four of us in hysterics, it's so funny to watch especially if there's a mix of children and grown-ups!As mentioned earlier, the idea is to put the chicken in the pockets, but my daughters decided to push them inside fox' trousers and that worked fine. The speed at which the trousers disappear is almost like magic, it's too fast to see where they've gone. Do watch out where this game is played (best on the floor) as the chickens really do make a dash for it (had to get the torch out to find some hiding under the settee).I think it's best as a four-player game, but if playing with two I'd suggest filling two coops each to extend the game play.Brilliant

I was a little skeptical about this at first; I've had several similar games for my kids which involve plastic and springs and animals jumping suddenly which just haven't worked or break after a few goes. Thankfully Foxy Pants works well and has continued to work for the many months we've been playing it for. A game for 2-4 players, the aim is to collect as many chickens as you can before your opponent does. Sounds easy, sounds boring. It's not as easy as it looks, given that you're only allowed to use one hand to lift the chicken, and it's not as boring as it sounds given that the chickens erupt unannounced from a giant fox's pants. Yes,each player must roll a dice and then place the equivalent number of chickens into the fox's ballooning trousers which his hands (paws?) are gripping. After each turn the player pushes down on the fox's head and either nothing happens, or his hands will spring up - dropping his trousers and unveiling his shame (a bunch of stolen chickens). A frenzied grab ensues, and whoever gets five chickens first wins that round. It's a lot of fun with a little bit of tension waiting for the spring to release, and it's built to last.

Foxy Pants Game. I have based review on price paid.It was a fun game with my 6-year old, he thought the game was great, he wanted to play it again. We left it at Aunts so a game there to play, and he wanted to take it home. So a good sign he enjoyed it.Nice to have a game without needing batteries, and no loud noises. It is an easy game to play, no hard rules to comply with and learn.Put the chickens in the pockets of the Fox's Tousers (American term is Pants), that he has stolen, throw a dice with either 1 or 2 chickens to return to the coop (up to 4 players), then you press the fox's head (lifting his arms arm up before play), and after a number of moves his trousers fly back inside the fox and any remaining chickens are on the table.First to 5 chickens in the coop, or if the fox's trousers retract, wins.I'd buy it again, even if only used rarely, a reasonably priced game.I would say the plastics looks ok, but not very strong, the trousers are not that well stitched. However, for the price it was ok.

This is an interesting variant of the random number generator games of the last few years - Mr Fox's trousers disappear after a random number of clicks, spraying chickens everywhere that have to be caught. It takes a bit of set up - stickers to be applied and so on but then is straight forward - pull out and lock the trousers, roll the dice to determine how many chickens to put in his pockets and push his head. The mechanics of this do have a few flaws though.1) The chickens are very violently flung from the trousers - they go absolutely everywhere. The idea of trying to catch them in one hand with the speed they travel at is a bit whimsical.2)The player pushing the head is at a distinct disadvantage - there simply isn't the time to catch them - which can be frustrating for that player, especially if they're younger.I'd also say that while the Fox is very well done, the rest of the set - chickens, dice, coops - all feel rather cheaply made.Overall good fun though.

This is a very, very silly game - and my (almost) six and eight year old nephews love its cartoonish nature with a passion. The game combines some of the jeopardy elements of 'Buckaroo' with a flat out race to be the first one to fill all five spaces in your chicken coop when grabbing chickens one at a time. A small amount of preparation is needed before the first time of playing, as there are several stickers to be applied - the fox's eyes, tongue, and decoration on his underpants. The fox and chickens are all made from plastic, but the coops are pre-printed cardboard shapes, with holes to sit the chickens in. Simple, silly fun, with an educational element in the shape of counting practice for younger players. The only problem we have with this relates to the rules on who should take the first turn: 'The player who does the best chicken impression' is a bit subjective, with both lads (and my brother) convinced that their chicken impersonation is the superior one!

All the kids enjoyed this game, from the ones 6-7 and 9-10. The adults did, too, as it is funny. How did they think this one up? Up to 4 players can play. Inside are a plastic fox, 21 chickens, 4x chicken coops, 1 dice, a sticker sheet, and instructions. Stickers have to be placed on the fox and dice before play. The idea is to save the chickens from the fox. Using a dice and throwing it denotes how many chickens you have to place in the Fox's pants. As you complete your turn you press the fox's head down and if nothing happens go to the next player. If his pants do fall down you all have to rescue as many chickens as you can using one hand. If all of your 5 chicken coop spaces are full first, you win.The kids laughed their heads off!

A cute version of buckaroo ,that so appealing to kids .You get a really cute fox , with large pants , little tiny round chicks and the aim is to save the chicks . With the added fun that when you press Mr Fox’s head his pants fall down and the chicks escape . Rolling away !Although there are cards and a dice to play the game , everyone was just so excited to press the fox’s head !It’s works well with kids from 5 till about 12 , although my 15 years old neice joined in . Place it somewhere that the chickens can roll once realeased . What I love about this game is it’s funny , simple , not to many pieces or hard to u derstand .Plus it’s guaranteed loads of giggles !Really nice gift and I would highly recommend .

This game is really good fun. Such a simple idea yet it keeps them amused for ages. The Fox is stealing the Chickens and your job is to stop him. Up to 4 people can play this game as there are 4 chicken coops supplied, together with 21 chickens, and of course the Fox. Taking it in turns to throw the dice, you find out how many chickens the fox is stealing and put them in his pockets. Pressing down the fox's head makes his pants fall down and the chickens tumble out. Who can pick them up fastest? This game is hilarious and my grandchildren were hooting with laughter and thoroughly enjoying it. Easy to set up, no batteries required, and they can play it on their own too.

This is a fun and easy quick game to play so you can have lots of rounds with the family. It was very easy for my 4 year old to learn to play - she said we had to play it immediately after it was unwrapped. The concept is straightforward - you load the chickens into the foxes pants and each turn you press down on the foxes head until his pants fall down and you race to see how many chickens you can collect and win before anyone else. Very fun and laugh out loud.My only criticism is that the fox's trousers which are fabric is of a poorer quality than they should be.

This is very very silly. I don't even know how someone would come up with a game like this. But, needless to say, together with the other games that they come up with these days, this one is no exception. You have to press the head, get the chicks from the pants - which are flung far and wide, and then its a race to see who can save the most before the fox gets them. - pretty brutal you say... no... it is actually massive fun, though I do end up being the one releasing as otherwise the kids argue and fight over who had more time *yawn*

Who thinks up these games? The idea is to save the children (chicks) from the fox. As he stuffs the chicks in his trousers he has to be careful not to take too many as his trousers will fall down. Once he has 'lost his trousers' he loses all the chicks and has to start again. Maybe a simple idea, but it will keep your youngsters laughing out loud for ages. The games suggests that this is suitable for 3-7 years, but older ones (10 & 11) enjoy it too. Parents can join in too but really it is for the smaller ones to enjoy.

2.2.2019

This is a fun game of dexterity, counting and timing that will amuse any young children and probably a lot of silly adults as well. Its a bit of a cross between Pop Up Pirate and Buckaroo, in that you have to have a bit of a steady hand but nothing too complex. The game needs a little bit of setting up and there are some decals that need to be put in place, but again, most young children will be able to do this either themselves or with a tiny bit of adult supervision.

This has made our little boy very happy and can see many hours of gameplay as a family with this one. Simple rules that a 4 year old doesn't have to follow to the tee (according to his mother) but you're classed as cheating if you don't. Overall, for a game it's real simple, easy to follow and even easier to stoke some competitiveness.

This is such a fun family game! Bought for a 3 year old who loves it - I do too! It's one of those exiting games trying to anticipate when the fox's pants will fall down. And then the race to get as many chickens in your coop as possible is fun too. Would recommend this for a new family game. Definitely entertaining!
