I've been searching high and low for a pair of shoes that are stylish yet practical... and I've had a little problem along the way.Problem is that I've recently been fitted with orthotic insoles for a knee problem. I almost screamed when I heard I'd have to ditch ballet pumps and stilettoes. My physio and podiatrist gave me really strict rules on what I had to buy... medium heel, heel broad at back, laces to tighten the boots around my feet properly, 'rocker' motion with a curved sole.Luckily, she recommended Fly London shoes. I thought they would look daft but I've had loads of comments. I consider myself to be a pretty trendy 30-something and these fit the bill perfectly.

I don't know where to start - these shoes are just fabulous! Firstly they were delivered very quickly, and were beautifully packaged. They were much cheaper on Amazon than in the shops - always a great start! They look fantastic (although not sure what my other half is going to say when he sees them, I described them as 'brown with velcro, elastic and big grippy soles...'!!!). They are very comfy and I think they look incredibly stylish and funky. They had the desired result when I showed them to my son of 'I'm never going anywhere with you if you wear those!' - which has to be the perfect response from a teenage boy to his 40 something mum! I have worn them all day for the last three days and they are very comfortable,

Got these shoes because I already own a couple of pairs of the sandals and they are really comfy. These have not disapointed at all. Super comfort from word go. Cushioned undersole gives a smooth ride and velcro fastening mean they stay put. If I know I am up for a day with a lot of walking involved I put these on and no complaints. I got the right size for me and they fit perfect. Slightly heavy looking on the foot, which is great with wide leg or boot cut trousers and would only suit cetain types of skirt or dress...say the knitted dress and opaque tights type of look, they are not to go with feminine, lightweight outfits.

Looks good and fits good! People have paid compliments on the Fly London shoes I have worn. The base/sole of the shoe is comfy. This latest purchase, in my opinion is practical and versatile and will fit nicely for everyday work and up and abouts. I have been buying Fly London shoes and boots (wedges) for many years now for those reasons. This is the name I look for when I am thinking of buying a pair of boots or shoes. I don't recall any disappointments. They have durability and resilience qualities. Half sizes and or wide fitting would be the icing on the cake!

I am a big fan of Fly London shoes... This is my best purchase yet! I am in between size 3 1/2 and 4. I bought these in size 4 and the fit is very comfortable. Despite the platform hill, they are not heavy. The leather is soft and the lining is cushioned. Straps are literally wrapping the shoes around my rather slim feet, providing me with a general good feeling that they are not going to slip off. Clearly, they are a rather unusual choice; they don't go unnoticed!!!! Great with jeans, but fancy enough for the office as well.

This is a really comfortable shoe. Great to wear all day. Has good grip and the size is perfect. It is my second pair as the first one, my mum took as she found it very comfortable for walking. For this pair the internal cushioning is just right a great improvement from other fly shoes I own. I gave it a 4 star because the flap with the Velcro, the stitching has come off from the lining four months into use. A little early for wear and tear since I now have to repair it. Otherwise will not be able to use in the long term.

I had these shoes in purple a few years back and they were so comfortable so I decided to buy these black ones. Although they look the same, the leather doesn't seem as soft and I get a lot of rubbing at the sides. However (after a lot of wearing), they are softening slightly so I will persevere as apart from that they are comfortable and look good. Also good for walking in the winter and keep feet warmer than shoes with thinner soles.

Fabulous shoes, I just have a really high instep so the straps across the top of my foot felt extremely tight and therefore uncomfortable. Was so disappointed as these are beautiful stylish shoes. If my I had normal feet I am sure these would have been perfect! Unfortunately had to return.... But if you've got regular feet I'm sure you'll be fine and I would highly recommend!

I usually wear flat shoes, so bought these due to other positive reviews. I wasn't disappointed. They are very comfortable and I can wear them for hours. They can be worn with trousers or a skirt and look good with either. The thick sole also gives height and keeps your feet warm. I have just bought some Fly boots in the clearance sale on Amazon because I am so impressed.

Quality always excellent, cutting edge design without compromise on comfort. I am a size 4.5 to 5 usually but I always buy size 4 in Fly as I find them generous in sizing. I always get compliments on my footwear when I wear Fly. I don't see any reason for buying any other make of footwear as Fly have such a large range of shoes and boots with a huge colour choice.

Perfect fit as ever. No need to break these beauties in. They feel soooo comfortable I could wear them all day and never get sore feet. If only all shoes were to fit like these ones. Makes buying shoes online a piece of cake and takes the guess work out of whether they will fit or not. A lovely smart shoe. Good with jeans or dress them up.

These shoes are brilliant! Read the reviews and thought they can't be that good! But put them on and they are so comfortable. I struggle to find shoes to fit my wide feet. Bought these in size 7 (Black) and they are true to size. On my feet all day at work and wouldn't know I had them on! Will now look at getting another colour!

I wear between uk 3and 4. Decided to buy 3 cos it was half opened, glad I did. Fits perfectly, soft leather that immediately fitted around the bunion on right toe, not pressed it like other shoes, wore it immediately , very comfortable . Heel very comfortable non slip, and stylish too. Love them !!! Will buy again

Great shoes. We're chosen so that I could wear them in as many situations as possible. Can wear with skirts, trousers and leggings. Can cycle to work in them and go out in them. Like that they have a bit of heel. They have been admired by others when I wear them and are extremely comfortable.

These shoes are a Christmas present from my husband and having only ordered them on Sunday , and the estimated delivery day of Friday , I was amazed to come home and find they had arrived today just in time for the big day ! They are just as I expected them to be - beautiful and perfect :)
