I read the reviews before buying and ordered a size 6 (my usual size) and a 6.5. The 6.5 is perfect in length but due to the cushioning they're still a bit tight across the base of my toes (across the top of my foot if that makes sense!). So, I would say if you're a true foot size you need at least a half size higher if not a full size and that will depend entirely on the width and depth of your own foot. I'm fine with narrower shoes usually and Clark's have a reputation of being able to 'ease' after wearing around the house for a bit, so I hope that helps everyone.The shoes look exactly like the photo. They don't feel cheap, they do feel sturdy.

At last! I have purchased several pairs of shoes via Amazon (and tried them on in shoe shops), but have failed to find any that were 'right' for me. These shoes were admittedly tight when first put on, but did not rub, pinch or hurt - just needed wearing in before going out. I have to wear smart shoes for work and have struggled to find a pair that would live up to the job - these do and I am very pleased. I will therefore be purchasing more of these - when they are in the sale!

Stylish, very comfortable and a delight to wear. These don't feel too high, and for me are supportive and comfortable to walk in. This is the first pair of court shoes I've bought in a while having favoured a Mary Jane style for added support after an ankle injury. No additional t-bar or strap necessary with these. True to size and very good quality. I've also ordered them in the patent aubergine which I also love.

Really lovely shoe. Was unsure from the pics but actually they're very smart and elegant and very comfortable. straightaway! and i hate wearing heels but need some for a Do. I am a small 4 and this 4 fits me very well so much so i would say you may need to size up if you are bang on a size. HTH. also - the heel seems higher in the flesh.

The shoes are lovely. They have perfect line, very comfortable (I wear mostly flat shoes), size 3.5 fit perfectly on my feet (thank you Clarks for having half size). I am very pleased with my choice, I would like to have another color - beige for example .... I recommend for ladies who don't like heels but still have to wear them..

I have lost count of the amount of pairs of these shoes I have purchased, not always via amazon, but I have been wearing these style of shoes for work and play.They are so comfortable as soon as i put them on. and what a bargain, normally they sell for About £50 so of course I purchased 2 pairs.

I bought these shoes to wher to the office, wanted some hight and comfort and that is what they are. coulour is on the pink side of baige but they are fine. the hight is good and not too high so easy to wear all day going around the office and out and about through out the day.

These shoes are amazing! Very elegant and comfortable. They are the only high heels I am able to wear, I use most of the time trainers and these don't hurt at all! So glad I bought them, great value for the money and they are true to size, well done Clarks!

Comfy shiney shoes with padding in the sole. They are not too high and would be fine to wear all day. They are a slim fit so wider feet may find them a bit of a tight fit. They sizing was spot on for me and I ordered a 6.5.

Very comfortable shoe for everyday use. The leather is very soft which is on one hand makes it very nice to wear yet it is slightly getting looser as it stretches. Thereforea little bigger than I expected.

Super comfortable shoes, the insoles are nice and cushioned. They have a good heel height and just a bit of platform. The soles have a rubbery finish, so they have a nice grip. Highly recommend.

I never wear heels anymore but had an occasion that called for that smarter look. Although my feet hurt the following day these felt great for the full day I wore them. Look great too.

I was looking for a pair of heels to wear all day at work, these look smart and are so incredibly comfortable with the block heel and cushioned inside. Very happy with my purchase.

Very comfy. Wore them all day at work on first day with no issues and I'm on my feet most of the time. They took a little longer to arrive than expected but very happy overall

Great business environment work shoe.Elegant looking due to the heel height but this is offset as the sole has a slight platform, making it feel much more comfy to wear.
