A nice little lead which suits our two Jack Russell dogs. I wouldn’t think it would appropriate for larger dogs with a lot of pulling power. One of the issues of this design which has cord on the retractable roller is that of developing knots in the cord. I couldn’t explain that but it does! Our previous leads of this design couldn’t retract fully because of this hence my purchase. Subsequent to this I have found a very useful skill that should make these last a very long time. The toughened rubber joint between the tape and string can be unpicked, the knots cut out and the lead essentially refurbished for a second life. Great, I now have four leads for two dogs!

Bought for my daughter's new puppy Angus, he loves this as it gives him freedom to explore and dawdle which the short leash he started with did not. One press of the button locks the lead at a chosen length so one can control the dogs range another press of the same button allows the lead to extend and retract at the dogs whim, finally a press and hold of another button immediately locks the lead allowing for even more control. Angus loves to chew his lead and despite the fact he now has his adult teeth it is showing no signs of wear, as yet. Recommend this product.

This lead has a perfect amount of length for our Pupster. To be fair, he does not tend to go to far from our side, but when he does the pull from the lead is smooth and the instant stop button works fab when he decides to have a rare brave moment and charge towards another dog or person. You can also slide the button up so that the lead remains the same length, perfect for when walking on busy road sides.

I love my new longer lead. It feels super comfortable when out walking the dog and it gives my dog just enough freedom to wander around. The extension (5m) is just right for a small dog whilst keeping him safe. The clasp which you attach to his collar is a little small and could be more robust but otherwise I'm delighted with this product.

My cat loves to go outside but we aren't in a safe area for him to go alone so this is perfect. It is lightweight enough and the pull on the retractable lead isn't too strong for him even though it is intended for dogs. He has a harness which the lead can attach to so it doesn't pull on his neck. He seems very comfortable in it.

It is really good I had to get a new one as I had a red version for about 4 years and lasted very well uniting my dog started chewing on it lately then it got weaker and weaker but it lasted really long .I love that it is quite small and it is long so you can let your dog far for such a little lead

Satisfactory lead for energetic Jack Rusell unfortunately our puppy is still in the chewing phase and fairly easily chewed through the tape between the collar hook and the extending part of the lead, not a fault of the product. If your dog does not chew I would have no hesitation in recommending .

This lead is super strong and sturdy. Having said that I did only use it to walk my kittens who always want to go out but due to the busy road conditions are restricted in doing so.Put this lead on the harness and let them play around in the back gardenGreat for what I wanted to use it for

I have been using this lead for my jack russell for quite a while now , fits perfectly in jeans pocket when hes off the lead , slightly smaller than previous on which I lost over the fields but later found after much searching !! got three leads but this is the one I tend to use -

These leads are very strong and I have always used these for my dog's, I know I can rely on them. I do like the handle half way down the lead, that you can slip your other hand in, especially when I am waiting to cross a main road. You cannot be too careful. Would recommend.

Very light and small making it extremely easy to use! Extremely responsive locking mechanism too for those emergency moments the breaks need locking on. I just wish the lead was a little more sturdy especially having a little shark (puppy) that enjoys chewing on everything.

This lead is absolutely perfect for my 2yr old pug. She and I love the fact that I can let her walk a good way in front of me but I still have control.It's quite light weight so she isn't weighed down.It's comfortable to handle.All round it's perfect for us.

Ideal lead for a small, lightweight dog. Our old Yorkie prefers the 5 metres of freedom without the restriction of a heavy clip or being hauled back. She found a stronger retractable lead hard work, especially uphill. Smaller handgrip may not suit some people.

I upgraded to this from a standard material lead for my 21-week old cockapoo.It's really easy to use, fits well in the hand, doesn't get tangled up, and is more supportive for my back/posture than a normal lead.I also bought it for a discounted price, bonus!

Have used Flexi Retractable Leads before but they haven't been the excellent value that this was, usually paid double the price. They are strong and easy to control the length you want, whenever I need a replacement I will definitely buy Flexi again.
