Looks good, works well, with easy to use combined brake button and slider for permanent hold and release. Also like the treat/poop bag dispenser attachment. However, the end tape is about half the width of my previous Flexi Comfort and the spring clip to attach it to the collar/harness is way too small. By the time you have hooked on the double eyes of the safety strap, it becomes very difficult to then hook on the two rings of the harness, by which time the clip is totally full. This is a detrimental change of design: after all, this is supposed to be "medium" size, and any harness for a "medium" size dog is going to have rings which will not easily fit into this clip. Flexi have definitely got this part wrong.

I bought this lead as a replacement to a 6 year old one of the exact same model... It seems they've made some improvements over the years as this new model is much more lightweight and easier to hold than my old lead.This lead is comfortable and lightweight, vibrant in colour and seems very nice quality. The locking mechanism on the top has been improved from previous model and locks instantly when pressed (I have a very over zealous jack Russell who would run into a busy road if a leaf was blowing haha)I haven't been using this one for long but what I can say from the old model of the same brand, is that they last for absolutely ages without any degeneration of the cord or tape,

I wanted to wait a good few month before reviewing this product as some of the other reviews report it is of poor quality. It was a bit tricky to get used to initially as I have small hands and it was heavier and larger than the previous extendable lead. However, once I got used to it, I felt that it was a well made product, very comfortable to use and I particularly liked that it extends much further than my previous lead as I have a very energetic dog. I also purchased the poop bag container for this lead. I would definitely purchase again once this one becomes scuffed and worn with use. Excellent value for money! Cheapest that I’ve seen on the market.

In just 4 months I've bought 4 retractable leads an none I got on with until this beauty. It's small and light fo my painful hands, yet sturdy enough to use with my strong dachshund and the lock/stop mechanism works without much pressure. It's easy to use and long enough for her to walk in the grass when I'm on the path. I'm disabled so use a stick and unstable on my feet so going onto uneven ground isn't ideal for me and this has solved that problem. The colours match her trixie harness and the addition of the pot you add on under is genius to take poop bags and treats in. Highly recommend. Such a smae they don't do a tape one in this size and length.

Very easy to use. By holding down a button the lead can be held in position until released. Easy to lock and unlock. This is the second of these we have purchased, we now have two dogs and I can control them both with no difficulty (and I’m 80 years old). Our dogs are Shih Tzu’s so not large dogs but are very quick. A good length so they have plenty of freedom when on open ground or on the beach if I don’t want to let them off. Recommended.I’ve just purchased a third one, for my wife, (she’s difficult to control sometimes) only joking, it’s for her chihuahua, the lead is nice a light, easy to use. Just the same as the largest version.

Brought for new pup as we didnt have spare as other 2 we already have are still being used.. Brought this simply because we have the same small long length ones for the other 2 and still working after almost 10 years.However will say the controls on this are alot more uncomfortable then the older ones, being alot smaller and thinner controls makes it very fiddly controlling the pup... Have now but connector lead on older 2 and using older lead for pup to give us better control if I'm out with them together.. Do use it when walking just one and no intentions of allowing free run

This will hopefully be a great long term purchase as the quality feels silky soft and superior to my previous hard plasticky purchase which lasted for a disappointing 18 months before the critical release and brake button failed.The lead release and return action is silky smooth. The brake and release button is positive although I find you need to be gloveless to confidently command the two buttons.It's light and not at all cumbersome to hold.Delighted with the purchase and the price is amazingly good value in comparison to others.

I had purchased a Flexible comfort lead approximately 4 to 5 years ago. The handle was still okay with a few scratches and dents but the cord finally gave way. The bungee stretched out the elasticated part so this time purchased the one with night reflection at the end. This is good for walking in the evening at this time of year. This is a well made long lasting flexi lead and I would recommend this product as the previous one outlasted the first 4 that I purchased prior to that one.

Fantastic quality. I wanted something that is durable and has a longer lead. Most small dogs extendable leads only go up to 3 or 5 metres. This is 8. I buy this brand as much as I can but pat time I bought the new double extendable lead to make it easier. However the quality was so bad that it broke quickly. I know this brand is durable, hard wearing and long lasting. I’d recommend it to anyone who has a small dog who can’t go off a lead because it gives them more run.

A lot smaller and lighter than the medium size classic which I what I used before. My husband said the handle is a bit small for his hands.I like the colour and the fact you can get accessories for it (a multi box and lights). I got the box to hold poop bags and it fits on easily.Although it’s light and small it securely handles my dog. The lead is free flowing when it’s retractable and secure when locked off.Nothing negative to say really.

Lovely colour, doesn’t feel quite as strong and sturdy as my old flexi lead I’ve had about 10 years and the clip certainly not as heavy duty but it does still feel strong and is working nicely with no signs of fraying so I’m happy with it. If it lasts as long as my old one I’ll be happy. Also a really good length, I thought I ordered the same size as my old one but it’s longer giving my dog that little bit of extra space.

Apart from a hitch with one lead not retracting and jamming up on its first use, the three I have work perfectly. Nice firm retracting mechanism, strong enough for a pulling Saluki almost adult pup. Comfy to hold. Not really used the handle adjustment as I have big hands. (Amazon sorted the duff lead pronto - thanks). Great price - worth the extra few quid over a cheaper one I bought elsewhere.

I’ve had at least two of these before, and find they are stronger then the cord ones, of which a cord one broke on a walk once, and with an escape artist dog, was distressing, so these are comfortable, to use aswell as being save. They do need to be replaced after a year usually due to becoming dirty and slightly fradded on the tape. The grey goes with everything also.

So far so good. I have a prey driven Vizsla who now has to be kept on a lead and this seems to work well so far. It gives her enough space to wander and roam without being too restricted. The control button is relatively easy to lock and release. On the whole, very good value if it lasts......famous last words!! Who left the dog’s new lead on the side!!!!??????

Works well for our 10kg working cocker. Initially we were worried when she pulled her hardest after the sheep as the cord felt a little dubious and we wondered if we should have got the next size up, but it's been well tested and not snapped or shown any wear so we've been very happy with it. The mechanism still works well despite a good few cakings in mud.
