We bought a first puzzle with the “smart cut”and it was fun. We decided to increase the difficulty...but we realised this was maybe a bit too much!We did the planets and the border in some time. we struggled with the black middle area for weeks. We organised the pieces looking at shape of the borders and we worked more weeks.If you love complicated and challenging games, this is for you!Otherwise, here is how we completed the puzzle with what we called “super cheating technique”. It happened that we had previously completed a some brand Kandinsky puzzle with smart cut technique. Not for the faint of heart. Difficult due to the vast areas of black. Planets were fine to assemble. Good thickness and cut out quality. One problem was it did not supply a post card of finished product as the other puzzle companies had provided. Take out the advertising and add a layout picture so you didn't keep using the box lid.Especially if two persons worked on it at once.

This is a great jigsaw with so many differently shaped pieces. One word of warning though, take the time to separated the black pieces roughly by shape before you start. I have had it on the boards for over a month I am simply doing the black background. I still love it and if you love difficult jigsaws then this is for you

The puzzle was delivered during lockdown and was a present.It arrived and so far is unmade, so I’m unable to comment on the quantity of pieces or quality of reproduction or the jigsaw itself.

Definitely for older children or adults, the amount of black makes this challenging. However the design is vivid and looks great.Buy it, you'll love it or go insane putting it together.

Bought as a gift - loved by the recipient who is enjoying the challenges of the multiple black pieces. Good quality jigsaw puzzle not for the faint-hearted but like a challenge.
