This bag replaces my previous EC Switchback which made it many times around the world in 8 years before the zippers failed. So I was hesitant to buy this one after some of the reviews were critical of the zipper quality. But upon receiving it, I immediately felt relief. These are heavy duty zippers, more so than my previous bag. On top of that, this is the most thoughtfully designed carry-on that meets all of my needs. Peripheral and dongle storage on the outside, so I can easily pull them out and plug in wherever I am, without making a mess of my stuff. The lower external compartment will fit a large iPad Pro vertically in case you're wondering.

Just purchased this bag to retire my old EC carry-on. The double row zipper is overkill and a little hard to zip at first. Hopefully this gets better as the bage breaks in. The tubing for the telescopic handle does take up some space inside the main compartment. As long as you know how to pack this is not a huge problem. If you use the EC pack-it system ths bag will easily fit 5+ outfits plus shoes and travel accessories. I love the laptop and tablet sleeves as well as the use of space in the front pocket.

Great suitcase. It rolls everywhere like a champ and with the handle placement it's very easy to get it up and down from overhead compartments without any issue. I had no issues on small European airlines with the size of the bag. The zippers are a little difficult, like other reviewers have mentioned, but I don't mind it in the slightest because I know no one can easily reach in to take anything, or nothing is going open on accident. I'm very happy I spent the money on this! It's a great investment.

Took my first trip with this suitcase - 5 day trip for a conference. It was warm weather, so my clothes were light, but I hadplenty of space for what I needed. It did take some judicious packing. No problems carrying it on the plane (and I had a smallbackpack as well). Overall the suitcase seems sturdy but I would need to have it survive cargo transport first before I'd judge that aspect of it.I ordered the 26 inch suitcase, too, and will be trying that out on a trip to Japan next month.

Small enough to not be too heavy lifting it up into the storage bin, large enough (for me) to pack for most any trip. No problems with the zippers, but probably not for impatient types who practice force more than finesse. If you like to travel light and you go for quality so it lasts, this is a great option. I anticipate using it for ten years minimum.

This is a thing of beauty! Nice styling, smart and thoughtful design, solid construction. Yeah, you're going to be paying more for this than a lot of other brands, but it may be the last suitcase you'll have to buy!

Purchased this through A. Warehouse and got a good deal. Like all the details, especially the jacket holder and extra bag strap. Just need to figure how to pack everything I need for two weeks into this bag.

I bought this due to Eagle Creeks reputation for quality and standing behind their products. Another plus is the ability to use it as a carry on on most international carriers and its expandability,

Used it for trip to Europe. No problem getting in overhead bins. It even passed for Air France which has smaller requirements. Love the coat holder.
