We bought these on Amazon because they undercut our local supermarket by more than half the price.The Duracell Plus Power series is designed for everyday applications rather than high drain devices, and, the examples of use given include, motorised toys, torches, electric tootbrushes, remote controls etc. Our experience is the Plus Power series work fine in things such as smoke alarms, clock backups and other low to medium drain products.In the Duracell MN1604 consumer series "Plus Power" is the most basic form of these batteries, although, in some other sizes there is a new "value" range called "Simply Duracell". If you need larger numbers of these size of 9 volt batteries also take a look at Duracell Procell - these seem to be aimed at trade users,

I was fortunate enough to be able to meet the artist/auther of this book so did know a lot about it before ordering from Amazon. Although mainly aimed at prospective Oil or Acrylic painters, this book`s premis of being able to work with only three colours does much to remove the amateur painter`s problems in producing harmonious pictures - but it didn`t help me to spell correctly!Enjoy . . . .

And they do last quite some time too.Not a lot to say about a pair of 9v batteries, but I've not had any problems with Duracell for this purpose.Whilst there are quite a few rechargeable 9v ones around you are better off with these as the rechargeable types are not suggested for use in devices such as this.

These 9v batteries are excellent. I bought these batteries because I have a "Death Metal" distortion pedal that takes one 9v battery to make it work, and also because Duracell are a very reputable make for batteries regardless of what size they are. Very highly recommended, and at a very reasonable price too.

Really good value from this supplier. The brand is trusted and always meets expectations. The batteries i received had a really good use-by date on them (3 years). In my case they are used to power wireless passive detectors in a home security system and each battery will usually last for at least 2 years.

I was unable to get out the house and needed these batteries desperately for my smoke alarm. Speedy delivery, reliable brand and they do the job great. Even better, when I went shopping I discovered the price was cheaper than what you would pay for one in my local supermarket. Fab!

Needed new batteries for my smoke alarms. Arrived within a few days even though ordered over a weekend. Much cheaper than struggling out to the shops to try and buy some when the weather wasn't great. These were the battery recommended by the smoke alarm manufacturer

Duracell MN1604 Plus Power 9v Batteries--Pack of 2 very good quality product at a very good price,I have purchased before and I would recommend to others, I have seen same at other larger supermarkets at a very much higher price.

The last batteries I used for our smoke detectors were Panasonic. They lasted 6 months. I am trying these, to see if they last longer. Double the price, but still very reasonable. Fast delivery. I will update my review, if able.

The batteries arrived in good time, within few days. This was the cheapest I could find them anywhere so I am happy about that. The expiry date says 2017 so they should be good for few years and they are not an old stock.

Arrive quicker than stayed which was fab as fire alarm battery died and I'm a bit of a freak with having them when I have young kids. Packaged well. Appeared to be a great price and free delivery was a bonus.

Bought these batteries for our smoke alarm at home, we haven't used them yet but we always have spare just incase as we have been caught out before and had a sleepless night! Would def buy agin, thank you.

Duracell seem to last longer than other brands (or is it just my response to the black and gold) anyway you need longevity in items like guitars or footpedals where they get le3ft for ages unattended

This was used to replace the battery in my smoke alarm. These batteries are very good value and cheaper than the high street, especially as post and packing is free. I am pleased with the purchase.
