I use 6 of these in a Roberts Stream 205. In my first test of continual use after the first charge I got around 4 and a half hours of sound. On further charges this has improved a little. The batteries are only used when the radio is in the bathroom, I now get between 5 and 7 hours of use in 45 minute chunks (I like a leisurely bath!). Also there is no gradual fade with these, they keep going till the sound just stops. This may be different if using in a torch.Regarding some of the criticisms. I agree the power rating is very low, even Roberts seems to acknowledge this and recommend not using batteries at all in the Stream radio (though the option is given?!).

I have reviewed countless Duracell products which I have purchased from Amazon. These batteries are no different. They charge easily, hold their charge well and go on and on and on: I have never charged a set sufficiently frequently to render them no longer chargeable.Terrific value at any price, but as Amazon provides them at the lowest prices, definitely 5 stars.

Much lighter than the original dry cell alkalines. After charging them up (longish process) for the first time they do produce good lighting from the torch I use. I will keep checking on the performance and duration of useful power till the next charge. Initially a good impression for the product by comparison to the originals.

The Delivery was quick Batteries arrive in a pre-charged state however it is common practice for these rechargeable Batteries to be undercharged before first use, usually only 20% or 30%I recommend testing and installing them then giving them a full charge when they run out which will be quite quickly the first time.

This is a repeat order - can't fault these products. I have swithced from normal duracell to duracell recheargable's for financial & environmental reasons. Batteries last a long time between charges and retain there charge whilst not in use. I would recommend this product.

What can I say about these batteries, well they charge up well via the internal charger in my radio and appear to last for several days without the need for recharging.They certainly last longer than other batteries that I've used in the past, so quite a good buy.

Bought these to power a security light I bought for the front of my house. Charged up quickly and have run the light for over 2 winter months before power failing and needed recharging. Trust the Duracell brand which is why I bought these.

As they are duracell, they last a long time before they need recharging. Excellent value for money as it saves you having to buy new batteries all the time which can be quite expensive if you use them frequently

For all the equipment I need batteries for I use Duracell AA, AAA, D rechargeable batteries, saves a lot of money and the duration of the battery is much the same as a non-rechargeable one, recommended

Amazing product! I'm 16 stone, 6ft4.. And this really isn't easy to bend. I love it!Most 'average' guys won't be able to bend this comfortable, not for the faint hearted.

Having these has been a life saver what with having all the baby toys draining batteries like there's no tomorrow. Last for a reasonable amount of time so can't complain!

seems to last longer than normal batteries, i am away alot of the time and these are great for what i need. Now i have these i will not be going back to normal batteries

good value for money and very light compared to non rechargeable batteries. I use them in a heavy D cell Maglite torch and these batteries make the torch much lighter.

Quality as expected from Duracel. Batteries drain themselves, when there is a constant power on system. Better tu use them in an item that can be shut off completely.

purchased 4 d cell batteries and have fully charged them and all the batteries were good no faulty ones just have to find out how long they keep their charge for now
