This machine is brilliant for anyone with limited worktop space, or a smaller kitchen as it doesn't look to 'big' when on display.I've owned a bigger version of the mini me for almost a year and use almost daily. The pods are still expensive at around £3.77 for a box of 16, but the coffee really is very very good; my kids say the Chocochino is as good as, if not better than Starbucks.Really straight forward to use, just switch on, wait a moment for the green light to come and select the amount of hot water to be dispensed using the rotary select button and press the go button........ The water is literally pushed through the pod under high pressure and as it infuses with the powder and out comes your chosen drink.

These are marvellous bits of kit producing great coffee (I've had 2 before and this seem just as good - take this as read as mentioned in other reviews no doubt) and would be worth 5 stars but........be warned - only part of this is a lovely shiny 'piano black'. Much of the body that you see from the front is a medium grey (look at the pictures and it is the bit that looks dark grey - it isn't - it is medium grey at best).This is also my first one with the auto-stop function which seems a good addition. A negative to previous models is that the drip tray is quite loose on the base and so your cup isn't that secure.Just a shame they couldn't make it all piano black or at least do the matt bits

I really like this machine!We have a nespresso one but it never stops automatically like this once the drink has been dispensed. It is a real advantage as you don't need to watch the coffee being made like you do on the nespresso.The capsules are great too! The coffee's were lovely and what's more the variety is epic! Ice tea? Yep. Tea? Yep! this does it all.Yes the capsules are more expensive than their nespresso equivalent but the added control and choice is probably worth it!I really like this. I have always wanted a coffee machine - just didn't know which one to go for. However, on reading the reviews, I decided on this one and I'm glad I did. It is simple to use, simple to clean and has a fantastic range of products. I still don't know which is my favourite! If there was one small drawback, it was that the wrong instruction leaflet was included with the original package - which rather threw me at first. However, I soon downloaded the correct one on line and haven't looked back since. I thoroughly recommend it - wouldn't be without mine now!

I have a Senseo which I use every day but it only makes my morning wake up coffee. I have a Flavia machine at work which is better than superb. I now have a Nescafe Dolce Gusto as well... yes I like my coffee.The flavour from my Nescafe Dulce Gusto is honestly as good as from any high street coffee chain, the frothy milk on my Latte also equals anything you can buy.With a Latte working out at less than 50 pence this was an excellent purchase, delivered super fast and safely, as always, by Amazon.

It makes great coffee as good as any shop. Being a manual machine is sometimes written as a disadvantage but it enables control of the coffee/ milk ratio easily to get your perfect drink. It's also quick. I read that some say water reservoir is too small but it does 3 mugs, is easily refilled, so not a problemWe noticed that from a certain angle it looks a bit like a gaping-jawed space alien, something you can't unseen once you've noticed it, but that adds to itFeel guilty dumping used pods

Great coffee machine! it sits nicely on the counter without taking up much space, it's no bigger than a standard kettle. Easy to use & having both hot and cold settings is great. It's a lot quieter than I expected and is quick. The hot setting makes the perfect temperature of drink. It's solid and well made, the adjustable cup stand allows you to fit many different cups and it all comes apart for easy cleaning. The tank is easy to remove & fill, it hold enough to make roughly 3 x 250ml drinks.

Relatively simple device to use (though I found the included wordless instructions so simplistic as to actually be confusing). Water tank is large enough to make 3 or more cups but being on the rear makes it slightly awkward to detach for refilling. The device heats up rapidly and a wide variety of tasty pod flavours can be purchased to try different coffees. This is the first pod machine I've owned but I struggle to see what you gain from the more expensive ones except a fancier interface.

I bought this a part of a Christmas gift for my daughter, and she likes it. However, if I'd researched these machines a bit more in advance I'd probably have paid a bit more for an automatic version of a similar machine. Each type of coffee pod requires a different amount of water dispensed according to the variety. In automatic models you can use a simple preset. This manual model requires you to guess the amount needed, or at least pre-measure the capacity of your cup. But still good coffee.

Excellent product wanted a different colour as I have a black and white kitchen but only red available, glad now that there was goes well in kitchen. Speedy or what go out shopping come home put coffee machine on before I've had time to take my coat off coffee is ready. Excellent. I should not have read reviews as 1said tassimo pods would work so went out and brought dolce gusto and tassimo pods dolce gusto great,tassimo don't fit. Excellent product would recommend to anyone well worth price.

Seems OK so far with Dolce Gusto pods, (Lidl compatibles were slow to drip through & not so strong). It has not been possible to find a full selection of coffee pod varieties in local supermarkets. From supermarkets you have to buy 16 the same in one box, or 5 boxes online to get per drink prices down to a reasonable level. The machine box implied free samples when you register, but this is not the case and you cannot even buy a trial selection of (eg) mixed black or white coffee varieties.

The pods are a little dear but there are "compatible" pods about a bit cheaper. But well worth the cost anyway for the quality and quite a lot of flavours and options.My only negatives, and they are not really bad, just niggles, are the water tank size (fits perfectly to the machine and lends to the aesthetic) but only does about 4 drinks; and the cleaning where the steel needle is that pierces the pods, it's not particularly easy to get to and you can't get much more than a few mm clean.

I'd not thought about a coffee machine until recently when I totted up how much I was spending on a coffee practically every day from various high street/service station coffee outlets.However, buying this has been a really top purchase.I'm spending less on coffee, and despite the pods working out more costly than instant coffee, it's really worth the money as there's a massive difference between a pot of instant coffee and a coffee from this machine. Really pleased with this purchase.

I saw the coffee machine on This Morning. The offer at Argos was the best but I am no good at shopping on line. So I called my local Argos (Portsmouth) & explained to the young man that I had seen this offer on tv but didn't know how to go about ordering it., "that's no problem madam" he said I can do that for you, he asked me what colour I would like & if I would like it delivered that day !!!? " I was amazed & delighted when it arrived & the young man that served me was brilliant.

I have had a NESCAFE DOLCE GUSTO machine for years, they do last but like all things eventually you need to replace but I wouldnt be without mine. I can honestly say hand on heart this is the only gadget I have bought & use at least Once a day. It is a great machine & so easy to use. There are other models around but I bought mine on a good offer & well worth every penny. It is my daily treat. I buy the CafeAuLait which is an all in one drink, so you get 16 pods not 8 & 8, better value
