My advice to anyone thinking of running a long length of cable anywhere around the house is buy a fast Snagless cable. Only I did it the other way around first I bought a cheap cable which wasn't snagless and ran it from my loft to downstairs only to find that as soon as I bent the cable around the corners the plastic covering broke exposing all the inside coloured wires. This cable may be a little bit more to purchase but in the long run it will last longer and save you doing the job again and ultimately save you money. I have this cable running from my sky router to a samsung blu ray player it streams High Def mkv files with no juddering or anything like that, it's nice and smooth.

It's amazing how some small differences in cable construction can make life easier.This cable has smaller (shorter) RJ45 plugs so they don't stick out so much from my laptop; it makes a difference. And they are snagless so won't get caught on other cables if you move them about or re-route them.The cable is also softer and more flexible than many others I've used; it just gives me a feeling that it will do the job.Black colour blends in nicely with all my other cables, the PC, monitor and desk. Colour co-ordinated!My previous network cable was 5m and a tad too short for comfort; this 7m cable gives me some breathing room.Glad I bought it - just sorry it took two days to arrive instead of the

I'm using this to connect my Virgin TV box to the WiFi extender, for a more reliable connection. Setting it up was easy - just a good sharp click in at each end, and now the TV box is streaming like a champ. I bought the black colour because it was the cheapest, but even so this feels like a good solid cable. The connectors have proper snag less boots on, and both look like they aren't going anywhere. If you have two Ethernet-speaking things that need connecting, you can't go wrong with this cable. Unless it's not long enough. In which case you'll be glad to know that they do a bunch of different lengths as well.

Bought this to replace an standard 10/100Base-T lead between my PC and Switch. It was too short and tended to catch in the other wires every time I had to unplug it to access the back of the PC. I quickly succeeded in snapping off the plastic retaining clip that held the plug into the card socket so, it was forever falling out. I therefore thought I would give this a go, although I was a little dubious of the low price. How wrong could I have been, the replacement arrived in a few days and is much, much better that the one it replaced. A good quality lead and no more snagging problems.

Bought this to connect TV to broadband router. Cable is pure white and blends in nicely when tacked along skirting boards. The connectors have full boots which cover the latch. Connectors are a nice fit and latch/unlatch easily. So far this cable has performed well, streaming HD films with no buffering issues and when connected to the laptop, download speeds were better than using the much shorter original patch cable supplied with the router.Delivery was also extremely quick. Will definately use products from Cables to Go in the future.

Arrived quickly, almost overpacked! but does what it says. I've assumed the length was correct, haven't measured it but the data throughput is as quoted. Quality RJ45 heads with protective cover. I ran it to the 3rd floor of a terrace, and it was then too short for my needs. If that helps anyone i would recommend really checking first (although a short patch cable/connector wont break the bank). Wish there had been a 15m version available because a 40m was too much and 10 too few.

A good quality cat 5e cable, bought espacially because of the rubber covering the clip (snagless cable). I have it connected to a tp-link powerline 500mbps for my laptop and ps3 and have never had a problem with it. Its very high quality and data transfer through the powerline is excellent.A great product that does what its supposed to and at a great price.

The wireless in my lounge wouldnt support hd streaming so I purchased an Network hub and a few of these cables so as to wire my Internet enabled electronics in.They seem really well made and do the job nicely.They fit well into the sockets and I no longer have to make and drink a cup of tea whilst waiting for a film to load.Highly recommended.

Bought a pair of these to set up a power-line adaptor for the PS3. Have to say they work just fine and the quality of the cable is great. Mainly bought these over the belkin ones because of the snagless patch cover and i can say that it does the job perfectly and this is coming from someone who's managed to break a lot of clips over the years.

Had to purchase this ethernet cable when setting up virgin broadband superhub. Virgin cable/superhub was in a different room to my desktop computer and the wireless connection was unreliable. The cable is well made and the connection maintains a more or less constant 19.5mb speed on a 20mb max virgin broadband cable connection.

I had ordered a cable and, to my amazement, the cable arrived. I plugged it into the ethernet devices and it worked... I absolutely could not be more satisfied. If I ever need cables, this is where I will look. Should I need string, wire or other 2 metre long items, I will look elsewhere.Cat5e perfection.

This was brought to replace the old cable going into a room into that rooms Switch.I really wanted the White or Grey coloured version, but sadly they were out of stock, so had to settle to the Red one, which is not too bad due to a lot of the cable is hidden away.Overall I am happy with this product.

Good cable have it from router to livingroom PC, goes under a door so wanted bright colour to help make it a visible trip hazard. Good anti snag covers and a nice firm retainer can be a bit of a pain to remove from back of PC but would rather have it tight than loose and dropping out.

Great patch cable for the price, bought 8 of these, 4 blue, 4 yellow to go into a TPlink 16 port switch which I use for installing servers. This let's me stream OS images to all 4 nodes in a fattwin and avoids all the clutter I used to get with longer patch leads. Very happy

I had bought a cheaper cable to run from my router to the TV in the Bedroom for BBC i player etc, and had twisted it causing it not to work. This product was more robust and was able to push it through ceilings and walls without it failing.The product arrived in good time
