Was a bit wary when I bought these as a lot of curtains claim to be blackout ones but are not really in bright, direct sunlight. What a pleasant surprise these curtains turned out to be, excellent quality, material is soft and light weight yet they are true blackout curtains and perfect for my daughter's bedroom. The tape on top (for the curtain hooks), has three different settings so I did not even have to cut them to fit the window, the bottom setting raised them high enough to fit perfectly.They were dispatched immediately by the seller and received within a couple of days, the black color looks really sharp and crisp and gives the bedroom a new and modern look.

These curtains surprized me. When i origionally ordered them i was skeptical weather or not they would be blackout curtains. Looking at the pictures when ordering i thought they looked thin and would need an inner thermal insulated layer. I searched online and found some and ordered them too. I thought i could attach them to these curtains before putting them up... The curtains arrived very very quickly, upon opening them i was pleasantly surprised at the thickness and the lovely soft material... The inner thermal layers that i ordered online from another company hadnt arrived yet. I couldnt wait to put my new curtains up, so in the emd decided to try them without the addition inner lining.

I have been looking for some curtains to pop over our front door. We moved in less than 12 months ago & the front door needs replacing as its been hung poorly and due to the set up cannot be adjusted. As much as I'd love to speed £1000+ on a nice new shiney composite door, this is not happening this side of winter so some decent curtains seemed to be an obvious choice to keep the draught at bay. My other issue was the colour, I wanted a rich blue but not navy. These are spot on what I was looking for.Gorgeous colour, keep the cold at bay, well sized and feel more expensive than £40. The only thing I didn't care much for were the tie backs but they serve their purpose.I have also hung these on a rail through the gap behind the tape & back of the curtain so no messing wth curtain hooks etc,

By chance these curtains popped up in the Amazon offers, and it was just what i was after! Firstly to remember they are very cheap compared to other sellers so the material could be better quality but for the price there honestly amazing! I ordered the dark grey in the largest size. Shame they didn't have the black however the dark grey even still has a great black out effect which is awesome as i work alot of nights so sleeping through the day can be difficult! Great product and i would definitely buy it again for other rooms! Only slight issue was one of the threads from the top wasn't very secure but a couple minutes with a needle and there is no harm!Overall; great product,

There seems to be a lot of controversy here about how effective these curtains are as blackout curtains. I was a bit nervous about trying them since they're not lined and I'm quite light sensitive – but we've had good experiences with the brand before so I was willing to give them a try.Turns out, they're great! Much more effective than the previous, lined curtains we replace them with. The material is thick and heavy and blocks light very well.My guess is that if you want to use these as blackout curtains, the colour of the material matters quite a lot. Would recommend buying them in black or some other very dark colour – but if you do that,

After seeing some of the other reviews, I was a little worried that the quality of these curtains may not be very good, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The material feels nice and looks more expensive than it is. Don't expect true blackout curtains, but they do a very good job of blocking out 90% of the light without having blackout lining. If you were to use these in combination with blackout lining then they would be truly 100% blackout, but for a living room like we have used them they are more than adequate at blocking out the light and giving you privacy! Overall very good quality and value for money, absolutely no complaints from me!

Ordered one set of the these in "greyish white" for a very large window. The same size from cheap home stores were starting price of £90 so these are an absolute steal. The material is nice and soft, hangs nicely. As other reviews have stated they are not 100% blackout but, to be honest, for £30 I think people have unrealistic expectations!Happy with the first purchase, I went and ordered some navy blue ones too. Being a darker colour, the navy are a lot more effective at blocking light and I can sleep quite comfortably in the middle of the day with these closed.If you need curtains and are on a budget like myself, these are fab.

Given some of the reviews I mulled over buying these for way longer than i needed to. They are really pretty decent curtains. I bought the black. There are no stitching issues and they block out pretty much all the light. You came see its light outside through them and obviously light comes round the top and sides depending on how you have your curtain rail or pole but for blocking out light they are great. I was in bed with a migraine and the room was dark enough. They look good too (despite the slight sheen to them which is why i marked the material quality 4 stars) and I would definitely recommend the black.

I have noe purchased three sets of these curtains as I was so impressed with the first lot. They are a lot thinner than I was expecting so not sure on the claims of the thermal properties but they are certainly no worse than the old set they have replaced!I bought the beige set so they aren't totally blackout, but I was expecting that to be the case. Again, they are better than my old set and they stop enough light and glare to be good enough for me.For the price, you really cannot go wrong, great product which is easy to fit and looks nice when they are up.Very happy with my home improvement bargain!

Fantastic! Amazing value for money and these curtains look great, but also are genuinely black-out curtains. I didn't need to iron the curtains when I received them, as they are a lovely, soft flowing fabric that hung straight from the packing. Nice feel, great quality and I cannot believe that they do the job of cutting out light for this price! I have attached two photographs, one of the fabric and one of the curtain's ability to block the light. This particular photograph was taken on a sunny day at 11:15 in the morning. I would definitely recommend these curtains!

I bought these curtains for the bedroom as a temporary "quick fix" as my neighbours had just installed a motion sensor security light, this was being set off constantly by foxes during the night and the light was flooding through my usual curtains. However, I was so surprised by the effectiveness and look of these curtains I am very happy with them and won't be in any rush to replace them! They are lightweight and when I unpacked them I thought they wouldn't be up to the job but they totally block out all the light. Would definitely recommend these curtains.

First and foremost, we needed curtains to prevent light coming through like our old ones. These ones certainly do that job, really totally blocking the light and helps getting a good nights sleep. We got the navy blue which work great, not sure if the lighter colours would be quite as effective. With regards to looks, they are plain navy with a satin type feel although they are not shiny. As a plain coloured curtain they look fine. Value for money I can’t imagine these can be beaten. Cost under 30 quid, has got to be a bargain. Would thoroughly recommend...

I use these in my bedroom. The colour is a great match with the decor, lots of colours to choose from. They're very easy to hang, the material is of great quality and now for the most important part. I got 10 hours, yes 10 hours of great sleep the first night i used them. They've turned my sleep quality completely around. They just completely block out the sun, truly amazing. I can't say enough good things about the quality and the great customer service, if you need and value your sleep, don't look any further. Just heavenly.

The curtains are very well-made and not bad for colour, although just slightly too pink and slightly darker than imagined in this instance (difficult to tell exact shades from photographs, but I doubt if I could have chosen anything better with the available choice). The only thing I might prefer is that they are lined, and there was a tiny, dirty mark on one of the curtains when received. This will wash out, however, and is not noticeable. If these were done in crushed velvet/velvet, I would buy them again. Service excellent.

Review asks for Sheerness, had to google what that even was. But yeah it is fairly lightweight materials, it is not a thick heavy set curtain, but that does not mean it is thin. It blocks light when needed, blocks draft very well, but light and easy to move.Quality was good, there was a few tiny tiny parts that needed a little touch up with sewing string put it was down to how we plan to use it with a curtain wire going through the pleats (not meant for this, it works but it is not designed for it (no curtain is to be fair))
