Replaced my stock pedals with these and felt the difference soon as I started pedaling. I'm a US Men's size 10 and I got the large, very happy with the platform size. Lots of room but not too bulky, I'm glad I got the large instead of the small or the Chesters. So much lighter than my stock pedals. My feet felt planted in nicely which gave me more confidence to pedal harder and lift the rear wheel with more force. That was before I got a pair of mtb shoes, I was using basic plastic sole Adidas, now I paired these pedals with some Fiveten shoes and I feel locked in. I feel much more confident now getting my bike in the air without my feet flying off trying to lift the rear end up. Great pedals, awesome for the price

I’m new to MTB, but not new to research. TheseAre the real deal, great build, bearingspacked well, adjustable cleats. Know that there are cheap knock-offs out there at up to half off—do not buy! These Crank Brothers Stamp 1 pedals are legit. Packaging came with a sticker too, if you’re into collecting. Only objection would be true color (i purchased the blue set). They appeared lighter in shade than shown. Also, if you’re a dude and think “Small” isn’t for you, don’t worry about it. I’m a size 10 and the Small feels great (rated to 10.5 US). And will need 8mm Allen ket (hex) to install.

I love Crank Brothers stuff. I wanted a plastic pedal because grinding aluminum pedal on pedal strikes is like nails on a chalkboard to me. These pedals are what I was looking for. I did have to go to TrueValue and buy slightly longer pins. Crank Brothers should add an extra set of longer pins, at their bulk pricing, it may make the pedals $1 more? I only put the longer screws in the leading and trailing spaces, I left shorter pins in the middle and with my fiveTens I get the right amount of grip but still able to shift my foot if needed.

(Size 11 shoes, Size LARGE pedals) Excellent grip, HUGE upgrade from stock pedals. Replacing your pedals might be the easiest way to improve the feel of your bike and overall riding confidence, and these pedals are an excellent option. They are plastic but they feel very durable and the plastic seems to be high quality. I’ve ridden these very hard and smacked them into rocks, logs, dirt, curbs, you name it, and they still show no signs of damage or excessive wear. I highly recommend these pedals to any mountain biking enthusiast.

Went for 1st ride (6 miles - rough XC trails) and the pedals performed as expected. Solid platform, good grip, spins smoothly, etc. All things you'd expect from a Crankbrothers' product. My only complaint is the color. I ordered red and while technically it's probably in the spectrum of a red, it's definitely got some pink in it. My 11 year old daughter opened up the box and said "you bought pink pedals?" That my only disappointment so far. Probably should have just gone with black.

I put these on my cruising around town bike. I wear a size thirteen shoe so I appreciate the large footprint. If I were riding a technical trail I could maybe see them as maybe being a bit in the way if I had small feet, but as clown shoed person they aren’t any wider than my foot coverings. I don’t feel the hump at all that others mention either. A small potential issue is that they do attach with an 8mm hex / Allen key, which isn’t in everybody’s tool kit.

Enjoying these peddles on my trek bike. I had clip in peddles which I removed and replaced with these for everyday riding with the kids. The peddles are lightweight and appear very sturdy. I like the ability to adjust the studs. I was initially thinking I would leave them in, but I have ended up keeping them out since it creates a very nice grab on the shoes. I would definitely purchase these again.

Crank brothers for the win. I use crank brothers on both Mountain and road, and love em. I replaced my double shots with the stamps, as I didn’t really need clip an anylonger. These are great, a solid amount of platform for footing and definitely enough pins for grip. Along with my 5 Tens these things are super grippy. I love em and will definitely get more if the need arises.

Using this on my road bike. I used to use one of those two sided pedals that was flat on one side and had an spd clip on the other. Realized I pretty much only ever use the flat side even on longer rides (35ish miles). I decided to just switch to a flat pedal. This is much grippier, but still convenient to use everyday. Glad I got the small, just the right size for my use.

Where Have These Been Hiding? I absolutely LOVE! - LOVE! - LOVE! these pedals. Now I'm looking for shoes that fit. What a comfortable platform for those of us with big, wide feet. You can easily adjust he pin heights with a hex-key wrench to suit your required and desired grip. No more tied feet from standard toothed pedals. Matching blue for my Marin 29'er MTB.

I have used several top shelf pedals in the past, and still do, but seriously cannot tell the difference between the $100+ pedals and the composite stamp pedals. These pedals grip just as well as pedals costing nearly 4 times as much. As for longevity, I am not sure yet. For long east trail rides i still use clip in, but considering trying flats soon.

I wish I would've known the Stamp 1 was a plastic pedal. Product description says the body is aluminum but it's definitely plastic. Great for the usage I intend on putting it through, (Trials) but not worth going through the whole return process. Looks like a well built pedal though, as is pretty much anything with the Crank Brothers logo on it.

I just installed these pedals, and they 1) Look great on a road bike (the Large was a little too big), 2) Are extremely lightweight, and 3) Provide great grip when pedaling with sneakers! I replaced the cheapo plastic pedals that came with the bike on craigslist. Would highly recommend as replacement pedals for those that want platform pedals.

They're easy to take on and off. I would recommend the large though, as the small isn't quite as big a platform as I would like. My only complaint is the post that runs all the way through the middle is raised and can be a little aggravating on the sole of your foot. To be the most comfortable I have my foot not quite where I want it to be.

These look nice and work very well my 26” mountain unicycle. There is plenty of grip and the platform is nice and big. After reading the specs for all of the CB Stamp pedals and countless reviews, I think this version is the best balance of price, weight a durability. I use them with a pair of 5.10 Free Riders and I couldn’t be happier.
