The American version is hand held and battery-run and one has choices of several different categories.It has a countdown timer which beeps so the pressure is really on to solve the phrase or word and get the device to an opponent before time runs out.My review is for the American version, which is a lot of fun and can be played anywhere as it is not dependent on a DVD player and is not limited to the music category as is your other version. I wish it were available in England with, for example, words or phrases that relate to UK sports rather than American ones in the sports category.Our family played with this hand-held model for four hours without running out of words.I'm English although living in Florida.

Took this to our friends house on Christmas Day. The game is great for team playing, especially if you're not bothered by the slow speed of the game. Caused a few laughs, but, the music does grate after a while, even after a merry round of drinks! The virtual holiday is a bit pathetic, but, I guess you have to realise that this will never be as exciting as the TV version where people won money! O.K, but, not brilliant. Good enough for a laugh!

It was fun to play but not quite as good as original tv program. Was expecting to see the bit where one square at a time was taken away and you had to guess what was underneath! but the basic game was like the original

A good game for all the family.good value for money.easy to follow.there may be some fights over who got it right first as this must be decided between the two teams,if you're playing the teams game.

i am pleased with this product as I have the dvd for the price of a board game of the same title.. Bought for my 7yr old grandson who loves it on tv..

Bought this for my brother for this birthday. He loved it- and is very hard to please! I haven't played it but he says its great and easy to use.

Its Fun I have played alone as a pair or in big groups its a laugh. Great at family parties or when your on your own

This is a game that is absolutely great, makes a great party game or just to play with one or two persons.
