Everybody loves this game. I've played with 5 year olds and 12 year olds. The aim is to be the first to complete a castle. There are 4 types of cards: witches, fairies, castles (in 4 colours) and diamonds. Players decide which colour castle they are going to build then take turns to pick a card from the pot. A witch will take 2 cards from the player who drew it; a fairy card protects you from witches; the diamonds can be used to buy your castle cards from other players. The winner is the first to complete their castle (the cards form the castles like a jigsaw puzzle).The game is very simple and provides practice in turn-taking, observation skills and trading. My daughters (8 and 4) love this game. We took it on holiday for 2 weeks and played it almost every day at least twice and they never tired of it. The rules are easy to follow, it's different every time so it's not always the same winner and players can choose how long they want each go to last which makes it different to other card games. Make sure you shuffle very thoroughly after each go though! The cards look great and are very durable. A great buy.

My children love this game. I have an 11, 7 and 4 year old who all play this together and have a great time. Boys and girls. One of my children has lots of SEN issues and he loves it as he can access it with out having to do lots of reading and he can be on an equal footing with everyone. Even my eldest 17 year old enjoys a game.

An impulse buy when looking for another Djeco card game and a hit with everyone in the family. In some games excitement reaches fever pitch, a simple game that is amazingly fun.

Djeco games are the best. Appealing to the adult and child eye, simple and yet entertaining for all. We all loved it.

Like this game! Short and fun.I would definitely recommend it.My 8 years old daughter like to play with it.
