This is an old design of a stove that remains still valid nowadays. One advantage nowadays is that it is sold with the windshield that before you had to acquire separetelly. The Campingaz R 901 cilynder was the only gas you could carry for backpacking when I was a child. Now we consider that the R 901 it is too heavy for backpaking. Still the R 901 is one of the cheapest forms of gas you can buy for a small stove. Probably not for backpacking anymore (although I do that) but the lest expensive form of cooking for a weekend out in the ourdoors. For car campinhg and real cooking, using two Super Carenas one next to the other is the best you could have.The quality of the stove is really good.

Having tried various camping stove setups, this is my favourite. It is simple and compact and the gas bottle size strikes a good balance between capacity and size / weight. I am considering getting a second identical setup for dual burner cooking. It loses a star for its price - £30+ feels pretty expensive for what you get.

Very Neat and small for fishing when a longer session requires the big gas bottle.
