I've been using Camelbak Eddy bottles for at least the past 10 years. They are the perfect bottles to bring with you to work, outside, or the gym. I mainly use my bottles at the gym where I can easily carry it around and get a quick drink of water whenever I need. What I love about the Eddy bottles is that they are durable and leak-proof. I never have to worry about my bottles cracking when dropped or leaking all over my backpack, and I've dropped many of them! The new redesign of the Eddy+ bottle bring some welcome changes. First of all, the loop on the bottle is bigger. Now instead of only being able to fit one finger though the loop you can now put 3 fingers through it.Now I feel like I'm less likely to drop the bottle when carrying it around the gym.The spout also got a small redesign. Instead of the spout being convex, it is now concave. I didn't know how I felt about the change at first, but it's proven to be very useful. I feel like you can get slightly more water out of the spout and there's a handy spot for your tongue to rest (if you like putting your tongue against your water bottle?)Lastly, the top of the bottle has been slightly redesigned. There's no longer a screw under the spout like on the old bottle. I often found that grime would get caught in this screw from time to time and you'd need to manually scrub it, but it is now gone. The Eddy bottle is a challenge to clean by hand. CamelBak sells scrubbing kits just to clean their bottles. I've found that if I put the bottles, straws, and lids in the dishwasher after use, the bottles come out sparkling clean. From experience I've found that only washing the bottles by hand without using a scrubbing brush allows grime to buildup in the bottle over time no matter how often you wash the bottle. You have to be EXTRA careful to clean inside the spout, under the lid, and where the straw connects to the lid. I've found that if you ignore these places, black mold spots are guaranteed to grow after a while.Overall I love these CamelBak bottles and the new redesign is definitely a step in the right direction for me! I'll definitely buy more of these when I inevitably lose my current bottle.

The main reason and my favorite feature of this water bottle is the “bite to drink” straw technology Camelbak created. I have continued to buy this water bottle over the last 12 years. I just got my forty one. There are some downsides to the bottle though, and here is what they are:The lid should NOT be put in the dishwasher. From experience I know that this will mess up the rubber valve, which basically ruins the ability to use the straw. This makes it difficult to clean. The rubber mouth piece is detachable so it can be cleaned and/or replaced. I’ve found that the best way to clean the lid and mouth piece is to soak it in warm vinegar and baking soda water.I have noticed that on this mostrecent model that the valve is a bit tougher to suck out of which makes it difficult to drink water fast if you are really thirsty. Also keep in mind that this specific model is plastic which will get scratched up and will not keep drinks cold for as long as the metal options you can buy instead (more $$$).

The plastic handle/ring has a larger diameter which I like. I still have a previous Eddy and I find my fingers getting jammed in it from time-to-time. Not an issue with this new version. Other people have posted about leaking problems but I have yet to notice any problem with this one. There have also been reviews indicating difficulty using the new bite valve and not getting enough water through it. There is a noticeable difference with the valve redesign and I did have to experiment a little to figure out how to best drink from it. The original Eddy valve opens out when you bite on it. With the new one the valves opens in. Works fine!

I just want to rave about their customer service. I disassembled the 2 camelbacks to wash the mouth pieces. Well, I took apart a piece that shouldn’t have been taken apart and it was impossible to put back into place (see video). I called the camelback customer service and was told I’d be sent new lids and straws without a fee. It was SO nice to easily reach their customer service and for them to send me a replacement lid and straw with no problems! Highly recommend this bottle and company

I bought this because I lost my 32 oz CamelBak water bottle that I had for 3 years and I love this one. I ordered in the color Cardinal and it's true to color. It's a great size, easy to drink from, and easy to clean. The size is perfect too. My 32 oz one was pretty thick, and this one is slightly slimmer but still holds a good amount of water. Hopefully I'll have it for at least 3 years before I lose one again. This is a brand you can trust and you can't beat the price.

Comfortable and ease of use and for cleaning. I appreciate that this water bottle allows you to take the drinking portion where you mouth meets, off. I'm talking about the rubber piece where your mouth will go on to slurp up your drink is removable. I think this makes it cleaning the water bottle much easier and nicer. The straw doesn't fail to get all the water it can in the bottle. I highly recommend it for anyone, it is very sturdy, reliable, durable, and easy.

My wife was always telling me I didn't drink enough water. When I saw this stylish red water bottle, I had to have it. Then I lost it, bought another one, and then found it again, so now I have two! I love the two-finger loop. I can use it to carry the bottle or to flip the bottle in the air and catch it. It's cool to watch the water as it free-falls. Oh- I also started drinking a lot more water, but only after my doc told me it was that or medication.

ngl it’s kinda addicting to drink from ?. the little mouthpiece is fun lol. i’ve had four bottles of water since this afternoon when it arrived lmao. she’s such a cute little water bottle! enjoy some pics of me and her chillin together. i’ve heard that the lid/mouthpiece is kinda tricky to clean but i’m hoping my orange girl doesn’t give me any problems ??

I love my water bottle, makes drinking water more enjoyable for me. My only complaint is that its starting to leak and I can’t figure out how to get it to stop or where it’s coming from. Overall great quality. I use it everyday, all day long and I’ve definitely gotten my use out of it. Just sad that it is starting to leak! I will be rebuying another one.

This is slightly bigger than the regular Eddy edition. The straw is also longer. So although you can switch lids/straws, you can't drink the bottom part with the smaller straw. My son can only drink with a straw currently, so I'll have to keep this one separate. Over time I replace lids as not the easiest to keep clean.

I am really disappointed with how easily this water bottle can scratch up. When I was trying to get the sticky residue off my bottle, from the packaging, it ended up scratching it. DON'T use the back side of the sponge, on this bottle! Now I have to sit and stare at the scratches left behind. Sad day...

i got this to bring around to places, and it’s great!! one thing that i didn’t know until i got it and didn’t see in other reviews is that u have to bite the mouthpiece to get water out. isn’t hard to drink out of, doesn’t leak, and doesn’t make any weird noises like some do!! super happy!

This was probably my fault for not thoroughly reading enough of the description but just forewarning others that this water bottle has a type of spout that requires you to bite down to get any water out of it. At first it was not my favorite thing but now I've grown used to it.

Huge upgrade from the original Eddy. The bottle looks so sleek and clean. It also seems durable so far and easy to clean. The mouth piece also doesn’t seem to make any noise when you drink out of it which is a huge upgrade over all the noise the original Eddy made.

Have been purchasing Camelbak for our boys for years now. They are long lasting and non leaking. Went through small bottles when they were little til now they are big teenagers. Tried other cheaper bottle but would leak through the straw, not with Camelbak.
