This is the best water bottle that I've ever owned, hands down. It has a large 750ml capacity which is perfect for me as I drink a lot and don't always have access to refill. I absolutely love the the bite and sip valve, it truly means zero spills, which means that I don't have to worry about my books getting wet in my bag, or my work getting wet if I happen to knock it over. I've used it solidly for a week now and it's holding up well. When washing, I'd making sure to remove the valve to wash and then leave detached to dry to avoid the mold that others seem to be having a problem with. Plus, replacement valves can be bought through Amazon for not very much,so if mold did become an issue replacing the valve wouldn't be difficult. It might seem a little pricey for a water bottle, but in my opinion it's definitely worth it!*Edit*It is now over a year since I purchased this bottle and I think it was one of the best decisions I've made, I've used this bottle nearly every day since purchasing it and it is holding up very well with that in mind. I am still on the original valve, though I think it may be time for a replacement as it has been starting to leak over the past couple of months, though after the amount it has been used and cleaned I can't complain! This bottle has suffered a fair few scratches and isn't looking brand-new, but for being throw around, dropped and jostled it's stood up very well! I think the main point of wear for me is the small handle, where there are now quite a few nicks and scratches in the plastic where I have hung it from my bag or have caught it in the zipper of my bag. I would still recommend this bottle all this time later! It has been there for me a lot longer than any of my previous water bottles and will hopefully keep going for a few more years!

My first Camelbak broke after a year or so of daily use. I put up with it leaking a little bit, because I thought it was Just the fact that the mouthpiece that was starting to break away from the lid. But I really liked the design of the bottle, and the fact that they never smell bad when you open it. That's because the straw/bite piece design keeps the bacteria out of the bottle! I hate stinky water bottles, so I love this feature! So I bought a new one. And the first time using it, it leaked also. The bottom of my cup holder would be all wet. And if I put it somewhere, it would also get wet except at my desk at work. I finally figured it out:ELEVATION CHANGES!!! Even though I live in the SF Bay Area, the elevation of where I live is 165ft. Where I work, 3 miles away is 20ft. On my way to the gym I change altitude of a few hundred feet. My ears pop when I take the elevator to the 21st floor where I work, so even though 200 feet isn't a lot of altitude change, it's enough to put pressure on the bottle and act as a sucking action on the straw forcing out a little bit of water...Solution? Bite the nipple (or whatever they call it) after you take a drink, then the water won't be right at the tip. Now my CAMELBAK doesn't leak! Just remember to get in the habit of biting the nipples! You're welcome...

Honestly, drinking from these water bottles looks kind of dorky. It just does. It's like the adult version of a sippy cup. But if you can get over that, you'll certainly be pleased by a fantastically engineered bottle. I previously used Camelbak Big Chill water bottles, but the assemblies were hard to clean and would accumulate mold if you weren't careful to wash them religiously. The Eddy solves those problems as the bite valve, screw top, and straw all detach and can be washed in a dish washer. This is hugely useful and makes for an all around more sanitary experience. I also like that the bite valve can be flipped back to seal the bottle shut. The Big Chill has a twist lock that can result in some unintended squirting.Obviously, this is not really the choice for a water bottle cage or super-athletic endeavors when you may need to squeeze and spray yourself with water. I usually use this as a way to hydrate on my way to the gym and after to recover. It's also great that it sucks from the bottom and not the top so that if you're using a natural drink mix like

I already owned the glass camelbak eddy, which I love. But have to admit it was a bit heavy for taking to the gym and I was constantly worried about knocking it over and it shattering on the gym floor, as I am the most clumsy person known to man. So I finally bought the plastic equivalent.I, like many people, prefer glass containers. Not just for the lack of BPA, but they are easier to clean, don't retain smells and water in particular tastes better and stays cooler for longer. But I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by this as I haven't noticed a plastic taste to the water when drinking it. And it definitely tickets my box for being light enough for my gym bag. Also with he bite-to-drink top, things don't spill, but you get a healthy amount of water coming through - even more so than with open top containers. It's amazing how much more water I drink with this than a normal bottle (glass or otherwise). So I think this is a great investment either for the gym or if you're trying to up your water intake throughout the day.

Got this for our 7 year old son, as he's now outgrown the smaller 'kid' sized bottles. We tried a couple of other brands from stores locally and found they leaked on the first use so returned them and decided on this Camelbak one as it's a good brand name. Our son likes this one, it's easy for him to use and there's no spills so I'm liking it too. Doesn't leak so far, and was a reasonable price in blue. Easy to clean and simple design. The straw has dropped out a couple of times, its only a push-fit. Hopefully this was us not pushing it in firmly enough and not a design flaw.Good value, good size and decent quality. Would recommend it.

I had two of these on a bike trip across Europe and they were absolute God sends. They work so well and I love the bite valve/straw mechanism, meaning you don’t have to tip it up to drink from it.Sadly I lost my epic trip bottles, but I reordered this because I wanted something to have around the house alternate to bottled water, that I could even have on my bedside table and drink without worrying about spilling anything. It says it doesn’t work with carbonated drinks and...I wouldn’t recommend it, but it is a lot of fun to have sparkling water jet blasted into your mouth! Just not when you’re not expecting it in public!

These water bottles are very well constructed and better than all imitators. I have an orange bottle and my wife uses this blue one. She uses this while commuting to work. The simple flip straw allows her to wear winter gloves and still have access to water.Prior to purchasing this bottle she used a Bubba bottle from Walmart. Comparing those is like looking at a high school football team and a pro football team. CamelBak is the clear pro. This review received 4 stars because of the size the bottles come in. They are only available in 750 ml. If we could buy a 1 L bottle then 5 stars all the way.

The bottle was recommended to us during a antenatal course as good option for staying hydrated during birth and breastfeeding. And yes, my wife loves it. The bottle works well one handed, and having the straw means you don't have to move too much when drinking which worked well during the birth and doesn't disturb the little one when feeding. Now we're out and about more the loop is perfect to clip on to the pushchair. and the silicon mouth piece seals nicely and stay quite clean. We have found that it's a bit too wide to fit in our cars cup holders but otherwise a great bit of kit.

I'm a big fan of my Camelbak Eddy. I previously had a Contigo "leakproof" water bottle with a similar design but I went through two of those before I got sick of them leaking and bought this one. It's great, I'd definitely recommend them. They're a nice size, easy to hold and drink from effortlessly, but big enough to hold a decent amount of water without refilling constantly, usually refill about twice a day.The only thing I'd say about it is the plastic scratches quite easily but I'm fairly rough with it, shoving it in cupholders and chucking it about so it doesn't bother me.

Fabulous water bottle, I definitely drink more water now as a result of buying this bottle as I take it everywhere with me.Its more economical for me as I'm not constantly buying bottles and more environmentally friendly as I'm not wasting plastic. It's tough and durable and stays watertight when put in my bag. The nozzle is great at night if wake up and fancy a sip of water. I clean the rubber spout every couple of days just to rinse it through so have had no mildew issues which has been mentioned on previous reviews. Cannot recommend this bottle highly enough.

I adore this water bottle!! It's super convenient to drink out of it and it even encourages me to drink more water throughout the day. It is also 100 percent leak proof so I don't have to worry about my notebooks when I put it in my backpack. The bottle is of really good quality too. I once dropped it on concrete and it didn't crack or anything. It actually bounced a couple of times. If you are worried about bacteria growing in the rubber part, simply buy one of those bottle cleansing kits that are also available on Amazon. Camelbak even has replacement parts!!

These water bottles are the best, you end up drinking waaaaay more water because you always have it with you and its sort've like "something to do" or just like a habit of drinking out of the straw. Sort've like a stress relief ball or something, it doesn't feel like you are trying to stay hydrated, you just forget you're even doing that because it's like an oral fixation distraction the way fiddling your fingers are. I don't know if that makes sense, but you just end up drinking more water which is great.Killer quality too, and i love this size and color.

I bought this in August and its now February, and despite dropping it multiple times its still as good as the day I bought it.I also bought a bottle cleaner brush set to get in the straw and nooks and crannies. However, after one of the thorough cleaning sessions it did start to leak, which was frustrating, so I went onto the Camelbak website and they have instructions on how to prevent the leak. Turns out a tiny piece of debris had got into the little rubber flap next to the straw. As soon as I got this out, the leak was cured!Thrilled with this purchase

Such a quality water bottle. I love this thing. I can carry it in the crook of my finger, or attach it to my beltloop with a carabiner. Being able to sip water while the bottle sits on a table is so useful. Sometimes I'll just hold the water bottle to my chest and keep my mouth on the sippy part, and whenever I want to take a sip, I do. It's so nice not to have to tilt my head or the bottle to get some water. And this bottle never tastes like bottle! You can unbox the bottle, fill it with water, drink that water, and there's no plasticy taste. Fantastic.

Great water bottle! I bought this adult version for myself and loved it so got one for my son and daughter. The kids love their bottles and we are all drinking so much more water since getting our Camelbaks. They are easy to clean, have good designs, the straw design is great, they don't leak and are very sturdy. My son and I have both dropped ours on many occasions and they are unscathed. I was really struggling to drink as much water as I should and with this I can easily get through 2-3 litres a day (especially on gym days). Would highly recommend x
