This was my first time buying from CamelBak, my purchase was the CamelBak Eddy Water Bottle, Sky Blue, 1 Liter.First off, the product came in the allotted time it was suppose to and was cleanly packaged, so a 5 star for that. The bottle itself is beautiful, and yes I said beautiful, I absolutely love this color. I personally wouldn't say the color is sky blue but more of a cross between a light blue and a cerulean blue. The bottle size is 11 x 5 x 5 inches and is BPA and BPS free, it fits easily in my hand but not so much in my daughter's dainty grip. The water bottle is lightweight comparatively speaking. My daughter wanted this as a gift after she used a few different ones at a friend's house. She picked it out and she loves it so far. After seeing the recent reviews, I will have to keep an eye out for the issues being presented but so far so good. The reason my daughter loves it is because it is easy to drink from and she likes how the water comes out (a plus because now she is drinking water on a regular basis). She says it is easy to carry by the handle, and if it tips over it's not leaking anywhere.I personally love how easy it is to clean and that there is a lifetime guarantee on the product. <---- lifetime! YAY!As a mother of five, I will be buying one for all of use, so I do recommend the product.I want to make sure you have the facts from a consumer based on usage and experience. If you feel my review was helpful in anyway please let me know by checking the box below and feel free to ask any questions. I will get back to you as soon as I can. Thank you!

The 0.6L Eddy, with its plastic body, cap, and unique silicone bite valve and straw, cost me £11.64. To take a drink simply bite on the straw then suck. I believe the bottle is a good size for everyday use and light workouts. Its also durable and lightweight. However, it delivers water too slowly to satisfy me during moderate to heavy exercise, and I did not enjoy the rubbery flavor thats added to the taste of water. Maybe it's still too new and this will wear off.The Eddy features a four-piece bottle, consisting of a plastic body, cap, straw, and a silicone bite valve. The body is narrow enough to fit into most cup holders, and its straw permits one-handed drinking without tilting one's head; most useful while driving and cycling. It also won't spill and the loop on the cap is strong enough to trust. The straw valve works by the user biting down and sucking water up through the straw. A slight drawback for me was the slow flow of water through the straw. While fine for small sips in the office, it constantly leaves me wanting more during exercise. The bottle itself does look very durable and could probably sustain a few bounces off the ground. The plastic lid is also pretty chunky and shouldn't shatter on impact either. So in conclusion the CamelBak Eddy is a good choice to accompany you to work and light workout sessions. It would allow you to take quick sips to maintain hydration throughout the day, but if your into anything a bit more strenuous exercise wise I'd maybe consider something else.

Who knew that having a Camelbak would keep me so much more hydrated. I haven’t had a water bottle CamelBak before recently but since I was young I have been an avid hiker and have always had one of the backpack ones with the long straws. There is something about the straw that makes me want to take a sip more often than when drinking from something else. I work at a front desk so the backpack Camelbaks are not an option. That’s why I love these so much! I tend to drink about three of these bottles worth of water during my 8 hour work day which is way more than I used to drink. It carries a decent amount of water but it’s not too heavy when full. Super easy to wash with a detachable rubber straw tip.Big opening at top which helps when filling it up with ice. Strong loop at top where you can attach it to a carabiner if so desired. I’ve had mine for about 7 months and I’ve been using it every day. The only thing that has happened is the end of the straw that’s supposed to lay back down on top of the bottle is stuck in the up position. Very VERY minor problem when considering the rest of the bottles features. I’ve dropped it multiple times while I’ve had it and there have been no problems at all with leaking. All in all a super great choice!

These are by far the best water bottles on the market. Hands down. It never leaks! I use one for my tea and one for my water. The colors are great too.Do not pay any attention to the bad reviews. You must wash your water bottle once and awhile. Of course it will grow mold if you NEVER wash it! Please use your brain and don't be silly. It takes me all of two minutes to wash it.I have a trick to make washing easier. Get a cotton ball, a cotton swab, and a bamboo skewer. We all have these in our homes. Moisten the cotton ball with hot water, add a little soap, and roll it into a long skinny shape. Take the bamboo skewer and push the cotton ball through the plastic straw. When you get to the end of the straw, push the cotton about halfway out. Then turn around and push it back through and out the other end. Your straw should be clean. I use the cotton swab to clean any hard to reach places inside the lid and bite valve. Be sure to take the lid completely apart and wash it. Rinse well in hot water and let dry.I love these bottles. And I don't have to worry about my cat when he knocks it over. Yeah!

Very large bottle with useful measuring lines on one side if you like to see how much you've drunk. The bottle is very well made and sturdy, and you can carry it around with the handle with no fear of it breaking.I use Eddy at work, where I prefer to have a straw to drink from. It's also hard to find a decent 1 litre bottle with a straw. The mouthpiece on the Eddy is very useful in that it completely prevents spillages - even if it's upright and you drop the bottle. You do have to bite it to start drinking (bite then suck through the straw) which took me a few times to get used to - I bite the very tip of the straw. At first I thought this would hinder my drinking but I actually sip from the bottle a lot more.I probably wouldn't use this bottle for exercise as I wouldn't be able to drink out of it fast enough. At the moment I give it a good wash out once a week with soap and water but will probably start dish-washing the mouthpiece once I have a dishwasher. s well as being great to drink from, the Sky Blue Eddy looks great. The colour is lovely and it's s smart addition to my desk.

I've been looking for a bottle with a straw system to take to the gym rather than one you have to tip upside down. I found these by searching by average customer review so I thought I'd give one a go. It's really sturdy and the bottom is really wide. For a moment I thought it might not fit in the drink holders on the machines but it does comfortably although it doesn't fit into the drinks holders in my car. Not too much of a problem with the leak proof top. When I first tried it, it was a bit of a strange sensation to bite and suck (never thought I'd be writing that on an Amazon review). You get used to it though. The only downside I have found is that it can be quite difficult to get enough water up through the straw, particularly if you are working out and breathing heavily but I can't really mark it down for this as I guess that's not really its intended use. The other way to look at it is that it regulates the water so you don't end up drinking too much.Overall, it's strong and sturdy and hasn't leaked yet. Might not be ideal for cardio but I will definitely continue to use it.

so... I have a weird relationship to this water bottle. We are involve. I have always been dehydrated and never drank enough water and was always setting water drinking goals for myself and never reaching them. So I thought since I love drinking out of straws, maybe a bottle like this would work for me! I would sill it up a few times a day and keep it with me.So It came in the mail and I filled it up and drank out of it... I don't know why but Its just so fun and I drank the whole thing immediately. a few weeks later I had been drinking about a gallon of water a day and was always sipping on this thing and I noticed so many changes to my health! :D Super awesome. But then about a week ago I couldn't find it anywhere.I tore my whole house up searching for it and couldn't find it anywhere and my boyfriend was not happy about the torn up house. I don't know why my water bottle left but Im sure she had good reasons... I have gone back to being super dehydrated. It just hurts too much drinking out of a regular glass. I think I have to order a new one and I hope she understands.

I already owned the glass camelbak eddy, which I love. But have to admit it was a bit heavy for taking to the gym and I was constantly worried about knocking it over and it shattering on the gym floor, as I am the most clumsy person known to man. So I finally bought the plastic equivalent.I, like many people, prefer glass containers. Not just for the lack of BPA, but they are easier to clean, don't retain smells and water in particular tastes better and stays cooler for longer. But I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by this as I haven't noticed a plastic taste to the water when drinking it. And it definitely tickets my box for being light enough for my gym bag. Also with he bite-to-drink top, things don't spill, but you get a healthy amount of water coming through - even more so than with open top containers. It's amazing how much more water I drink with this than a normal bottle (glass or otherwise). So I think this is a great investment either for the gym or if you're trying to up your water intake throughout the day.

The CamelBak Eddy is a staple in our household. We read some studies that said you drink more if you drink out of a "straw". Well, these water bottles have helped to increase water consumption in our household. I'm not sure that we even use glasses very often and water tends to be the beverage of choice around our household now. I take these to work and as a teacher carrying in lots of bag the little hook makes it that much easier to lug into my classroom each morning. Because it's spill proof I also don't have to worry about knocking it over where I have my computer, iPad, book or other important papers. My son also takes one to school on a daily basis. These fit right into the side pocket of his backpack and they last forever! We keep one in the car and carry one with us wherever we go around the house. These water bottles have helped keep my family hydrated and healthy!

In my eternal quest to drink more water (something I'm constantly failing at as when my glass runs dry the fridge is a very long way away), the CamelBak Eddy is definitely a boon. It does pretty much everything I would expect it too - pleasant colour (light blue), good capacity, measurements in liters (take THAT America) and fl.oz, and has a mouth piece that can be closed. I've taken this all over on hikes, to work, blah blah, and its never leaked on me.If there was a gripe it's that when the cap is closed I sometimes find it awkward to open again. This might be due to sweaty workout hands, but even when not perspiring, the soft rubbery lip you pull on isn't very easy to use. Some similar products have a button to press and, if I bought another, I might be inclined to check these out.All in all, very satisfied, with that one caveat.

Love this product. Easy to clean and use. Since getting one for myself I've had to buy 3 more for the family to ensure I have my own. I now drink around 2 -3 litres of water daily and it sits on the bedside table overnight, when I used to use a glass I was always worried about knocking it over and spilling the contents if I needed a drink in the night. This also solves that problem. It goes with me on the plane (I fill it up after I pass security), the train, the car, to yoga.... you name it. Plus it reduces the amount of plastic bottles I buy and the number of glasses I (and everyone at home) use around the house. You can also but a replacement mouthpiece if need be.I have left one on a plane after a very long flight and was gutted. I re-ordered via Amazon while I was waiting for my baggage!

I use this thing everywhere. Its amazing. It is slightly expensive, but honestly I've started to drink a lot more water with this thing being around all of the time. Call me lazy, but I'm at the desk most of the time at work and I can put this in front of me and still be able to type/use the mouse while I just drink from it while it is in front of me. Hands free drinking basically, which means I don't have to stop unless its just to fill it up again. I usually drink around 3/4 of the 600ml throughout the day and have noticed a change, mostly the fact my skin isn't breaking out as much (25yr old female) and the fact that it has actually turned me off drinking any sort of pop.I had a coca cola can yesterday and I could only take two swigs before realizing I didn't enjoy the taste anymore.

A perfectly sized bottle that I can fit in my bag without any worry. The material is strong so I don't think it will break anytime soon. But most importantly, it didn't come with any plasticy taste that contaminates the water. I go to the gym often, and it is helpful just to be able to use a straw without worrying that it will leak, and not having to tilt my head back while I'm on the treadmill.I should also mention that this bottle helped me to drink a lot more water than I used to. And it is perfect for drinking out of at night as you don't spill cold water on yourself. The only issue is having to clean out the mouthpiece every several days, as it can attract a lot of limescale, but it doesn't take more than a few minutes.I bought one for my girlfriend as well and she loves it

Update: I received two replacement mouthpieces from camelbak in the mail today and now it works perfectly. No more leaking. The first time I used this item the straw felt like it was not in place so I took the whole thing apart and made sure everything was in place and tight. It still didn't work properly. When I suck all I get is air. The only way it works is if I have the spout in an almost closed position which is really awkward and uncomfortable. Even then I still get air when sucking. To top it off the water bottle leaks even when closed. I tried to submit a claim with camelbak directly to get a new mouthpiece but that was weeks ago and nobody has contacted me.I will try harder to get in contact with someone but this is very frustrating.

Bottle quality is perfect, it's light weight and feels clean and good part is that it's BPA free according to seller's claim. I like the spill proof bite valve but some people might not like it because you have to keep it pressed with your teeth while sucking and drinking it. Water flow is much higher then any other bottle I have used before, so I am not sucking it for too long. The only negative part because of which I am not giving it all five stars is that once you push the mouth piece all the way in then it's little hard to pull it back up because it's made of rubber and is too soft to give you enough grip to pull it back up, I am hoping after some use this will get better.
