In trying to move my 12 month old to a sippy cup, he rejected everything. For some reason, he just didn't get the concept of having to tilt the cup up so that the liquid flowed down for him to drink. However, my husband and I each have a camelback that we carry around all day and we noticed he LOVED them. At first, he just loved them because of the rubbery spout (great for teething) but then he discovered he could get water out of it!So, obviously, we had to get one for him. He's had it for almost a month and he loves it. Yes, he's still getting the hang of not getting water all over his shirt, but this was a great way for him to 1. Learn how to use a straw and 2.Have his own water bottle just like Mommy and Daddy.Like others have mentioned, it is not the easiest thing to clean- so we ONLY use water (oh gosh, I can't even imagine using milk- yuck). We do disassemble and put in the dishwasher- so far that is working, but we know to keep an eye out for mold/mildew.Also, it is worth it to note that the spout is different than the bigger camelbacks and instead of the rubbery bit attaching onto the top, it is threaded up from the inside. Because of this, on several occasions my son has pushed it in (while chewing on it) and caused it to leak. Granted, that is not how the product was intended to be used, but I think that is why the age recommendation is a bit older. BUT- I wouldn't make the claim that this product is "spill proof" or "leak proof".Overall, I'd give a solid 4 stars because it works well enough for us to continue to use it (and my son loves it, and the fox pattern is adorable), but I think the difference in the water spout causes too many leaks.

Brilliant water bottle for children. My nearly 4 year old daughter has gone through several water bottles and all have eventually degraded after a relatively short time- chewing the straws, dropping and smashing the bottle, unable to thoroughly clean the straw, leak etc. So far this is our second camelbak bottle. Purchased one for nursery and one for everyday use, at home and out and about. Its quite large, but easy for my little one to hold and open the straw and close herself. Doesn't leak! the rubber straw feels very durable and replacement straws can be purchased (great for chewers!) We only use this with water so not sure how it would hold up with juice. The straw can be removed fairly easily but is a little tricky to clean just because of the tiny valve at the end. I run warm soapy water through it to clean and flush with fresh water - this would be particularly important with juices. Bottle itself feels of great quality, This has been dropped a few times and so far survived without so much as a scratch! The internal straw can be removed although we have kept it in place and not found a need to tip the bottle to reach the last dregs. A great size to hold enough water for a day out. Come in a variety of prints and designs to help encourage little ones to drink and also recognise their own bottle out of so many at preschool! Recommended.

My kids (4 and 2 - Both boys) have been slowly destroying their drinking cup collection over time. We have bought cheap ones ... expensive ones ..... all very different in their execution but essentially a plastic bottle (BPA free in some cases) with a straw solution and a lid of some sort. These cups are a world apart. I would say they are middle of the road in terms of price (Circa £12 each) But they are excellent. Make no mistake this is the best cup your child will own. The main body of the cup is a nice solid plastic with great deco art. The lid and strap solution is great. When you flip the spout up to close it seals the straw tight which means zero leaks.I will report back in 2 or 3 months to see if that holds true. The bottle is a sold feel and it would appear that the manufacturer has not compromised on build quality. Unlike other cups everything fits and is tight. Its top rack dishwasher safe and my kids love them. The best thing is that I can order replacement parts if they do get lost of destroyed. My summary is as followsLook 10/10Build 10/10Durability - Yet to be proven (21/11) but I would say 9/10Overall 10/10Buy this cup

This is an expensive drinks bottle but I bought this after probably spending this amount or more on drinks bottles that just kept leaking. Someone recommended this a while ago but I though no that's too much, but after getting various bottles and finding that they all seemed to leak (toddler leaves her drinks bottle on sofa tipped over and I don't notice until I see it and there's a big wet patch! Sofa is covered in water stains!) I decided to bite the bullet. This one is brilliant and doesn't leak apart from very occasionally a bit of water stored on the end tube comes out somehow but not often and it's not much. It's very easy to clean and, I've had some straw bottles that you can't clean easy, and it contains a decent amount of water. Only other negative is that I wouldn't use it when she's sat in her high chair in our kitchen as we have stone tiles and I think it would break if it fell because it's hard plastic and ourfloor is very hard. I know this as we had a similar drinks bottle and the bottom cup part was made of same type of plastic and it cracked :( Anywhere else I wouldn't worry as it seems robust.

Not sure if you’re like me and have tried multiple baby/toddler cups that have raved and promised to be spill free and have been disappointed every time. After 5/6 different types of cups we bought one of these eddy’s for my 2 year old. No spills, no crazy methods for cleaning, not a million parts, and you can see every mm of space of this cup and parts so no worries of unseen mold. Just bought one today for my 7 MONTH OLD and thought she wouldn’t be able to figure out how to use it. Aside from flipping the straw open she has mastered the use of this cup in just minutes. I know that this cup will fall to floor countless times but after all the wear and tear that my son’s cup has endured I have total confidence that this cup will stand the test of time yet again.(Disclaimer: my son likes to bite the bite piece-go figure- so having extras on hand is a saving grace and you can get like 4 if the. For 5$) so happy w this product and so glad my BABY can use it.

I loved these bottles for my toddler. Typically they only had water in them and are great for sending to daycare. Replacement drinking spouts are fairly inexpensive and I replaced every 6 months. They do leak a little bit, but as long as they are in the cup holder in a diaper bag or backpack I have not had any issues. It is easy to screw the lid on a little crooked and that does cause leaks. I've retired these bottles after 2 years of use and switched over to a double-walled aluminum/silicone bottle.I have found the key to washing these is having a good bottle brush and a long bristle straw brush - short bristle will not cut it as it will not reach the sides inside of the drinking spout and letting them fully dry before putting them away.Along with regular washing, about once every couple of weeks I would use scalding hot water and vinegar to help clean out the drinking spouts and straws to prevent any mold/mildew from growing.

We live a Camelbak in our house and these quickly became reliable staples for the school run and home water bottles.Positives; they come in fab designs from plain colours to more intricate designs. The bottles themselves seem to withhold a lot of wear and tear with little sign of damage or scratching. I’ve even been able to customise the bottles with vinyl for the school bottles. They go through the dishwasher well and can be broken down for cleaning. Also there is a lifetime guarantee on the bottle (excl wear and tear)Negative; The bite values don’t seem to last too long and cost £16 for a pack of 4 to replace or £6-7 each. This is nearly half the cost of a new bottle! They are very easy to fit though.Just make sure you click them in properly otherwise wate pours out. You learn quickly.I love these so much I’m in the process of replacing all our kids bottles to these. Expensive but invaluable

We love these water bottles! Our kids are all in school now, so I needed two new ones for our twins who just entered pre-k. My oldest has one, has used and abused it for 4 years now, and it's still in great shape! In school, the kids are allowed to carry a water bottle around with them wherever they go, but it needs to be spill proof and/or have a lid/cap. These serve the purpose very well. The lid is easy enough to remove and the bottle has a wide enough opening that kids can easily refill at the water fountain, and drinking from the bottle is easy while also being clean. The handle on the lid also allows for the kids to attach the bottle to their peron or backpack for easy carrying. Also,a huge plus is that replacement parts are easy to come by, though our oldest of these bottles is still thriving on its original parts!

These cups are great, but with that being said be aware the caps under the straw part pop out along with the little ruber piece that site in there. They do mold! I noticed because I seen under the lid had some mold and I was fiddling with the rubber porce and more popped out so I figured to get underneath that part the caps pop out somehow and they do. I used a butter knife and I popped the cap out and it had mold underneath the cap. Tho drinking doesn't effect this but it's still nice to know. So know your product and break it apart from time to time and disinfect or clean under that cap really well or it will eventuall grow mold. My other daughters cup didn't haveand, due to hers being newly bought. The first cup I had bought a little over 3 weeks ago. So check your cups. But otherwise these cups are great.

All 3 of my kids have these (in different styles) and have been using them since we got the first kid his 4 years ago. Robust, easy to keep clean, and easy to drink from. Good volume too. Lost a couple along the way but otherwise never had to replace one. I have bought a few replacement nozzles as the younger kids have chewed them and split the silicone but a set of 4 is £10-15 so much cheaper than new bottles and I think I've only bought 1 set in 4 years for what is now 3 children. One word of warning if taking on an aeroplane, unscrew the lid a little to release pressure before flipping the nozzle up, otherwise you'll get a nice shower as the pressure inside will push the liquid out out!Same applies if driving to a high altitude. We regularly forget this little point!

My son loves this. He used to drink (aka backwash into) my CamelBak water bottle, but he is now so proud to have his very own water bottle that he rarely asks for mine anymore. We bought this for him when he was 14 months. He's always been good with a straw, so grasped the bite valve technique easily. Bonus is that it really doesn't leak, minus a couple dribbles if he really throws it hard, and has withstood being launched from the shopping cart basket onto the grocery store floor multiple times. He loves being able to have his own water and I love not drinking his backwash. For cleaning purposes, I already had a CamelBak cleaning brush set for the other CamelBaks that we have.I would recommend getting one of those to get into all the crevices of the bottle.

Second time I've bought one of these cups as the first one was used until it eventually wore out (had for approximately a year and used daily).I have a son with autism who is particular about what he will drink out of and he loves this cup as it doesn't leak no matter how much he tips it up or shakes it about...or if he forgets to put the cap down and it tips over! The rubber tip prevents leaks but is easy for kids to use unlike some anti spill cups. This is also particularly handy for his lunchbox as almost all cups that come with lunkchboxes leak...Really happy with it. It seems expensive but considering how long it lasts, it doesn't spill, can be used for any occasion including travel and bedtime and my little one actually uses it...it is a bargain!

With a wide mouth, it is easy to both fill and clean and we notice the thick wide straw makes it easier for our daughter to drink more water without having to suck on a small straw. She loves the cats on the bottle and we've taught her to fold down the straw and stand it up after drinking so we haven't really experienced some of the reviewers problems with leaks and spills. Liquid fill size is good and if we are lucky, she'll get through two bottles a day. The top has a loops which I use on a carabiner when we go out so its easily accessible and my my kid like to loop her finger through it some times when she carries it around. Overall, we'd buy another when this one soon.

Love this!!! Kids love them and drink more water because of them! They are good about being leak proof, only issue is if you push the rubber mouth piece hard it’ll create a gap and water can leak out if left on its side but overall my 1, 3, 5yr old use then daily.Another great thing about these is that they are easy to take apart for cleaning and they are life time warrenty with CamelBak so if the mouth piece, straw or top break I can go to the website and put in an order for a new one.My younger one loves to chew on his so I’ve done this a couple times.Definitely recommend to other parents if you’re looking for a great, fun looking water bottle for your little ones.

The bottle is easy to assemble and clean. It’s very cute. Its quality seems to be pretty good - the picture is not coming off (it’s an issue with some bottles) and the rubber straw part is sturdy (my daughter tends to bite the straw, so some of bottles get trashed quite fast). Drinking from it seems to be not as easy and it makes a funky noise. Sometimes I wonder if my daughter is actually getting way too much air with the liquid. Also, liquid stays in the rubber top part, so when you close/lock the bottle, the water can still spill out of it. I have to remember to squeeze it out after I lock it (and I don’t have my hands clean at all times, which is a little concern).
