I got this for my 6 year old son who has a habit of mistaking water bottles and drinking out of the wrong bottle, so I wanted to have a unique one. Having big sisters on the swim team he is obsessed with swimming and water.Swimming with sharks is a theme he appreciated. I knew this would be a hit as long as the quality was what you expect from CamelBak. Many companies shortchange when it comes to kids offerings, I am happy to report that this isn't the case here! This is a plastic insulated bottle and holds less than I would like (14 oz) but it keeps the contents cold with ice almost all day. It has the normal CamelBak spout that you have to squeeze with your mouth to drink from.He has used it before in a different bottle so didn't have any trouble with drinking from it. There is no button to pop the spout up -- you have to push it up or down. He does find that challenging as it clicks in just slightly too firmly and can be hard to open. It has a strong handle so he can carry it without worrying the strap or handle will break. It does not leak or drip when closed, even when put in a backpack. When opened if knocked over it doesn't leak but if something is on top of it to put pressure on the spout will.Top rack dishwasher safe, although we hand wash.I can't post photos at this time but the bottle as I see it is colored differently than it looks on my monitor. The bottle is two toned -- blue exterior with a lime green interior. The blue of the bottle does not match the blue of the cap like it looks in the photo. This in no way detracts from my son's love of the water bottle, but if a perfect match is important to you it is something to keep in mind.Made in China.

CamelBak's Eddy+ Bottle is made from robust feeling plastics that are nicely finished, colorful, and have a fun design. The bottle is double walled to provide insulation but I find that this bottle does not keep beverages cold for as long as a steel insulated bottle. The top has a large handle and a large flip up spout. The spout is made from thick and flexible silicone. The straw inside is made of hard plastic. The spout needs to be bit a little to open. Once you open it, the liquids will flow freely. When the bottle is tipped over only a drop or two of water will leak out. One thing I noticed is that the sealed spout holds water in the straw, so when you open the bottle and pull out the straw water falls out.Make sure you suck the water out completely before opening the bottle. The entire bottle comes apart for cleaning. The spout comes out of the lid, and the straw comes out of the spout. Everything can be washed in the dishwasher and they came out great. All in all... a great bottle.

We love the Camelback kids bottles, especially the metal one. We only use the plastic one with cold drinks and it keeps the ice in there for a surprisingly long time. It's light weight too despite being insulated. My three (now four) year old adapted quickly to the bite valve and didn't have any issues getting the hang of it. Sometimes he uses it to drink water in bed and the thing is leak proof. It's one of the only cups that hasn't led to us waking up to a wet bed.The tops are interchangeable between all of the Camelback cups, but the straws are not because they are different lengths. It's hard to eyeball and you usually can't tell that the straw is wrong until you go to put the lid on.This is annoying and I wish they color-coded the straws. It fits fine in most cupholders but sometimes it does get stick in the car seat one and he has to wiggle it. It would be better for the car seats that have the elastic on one side of the holder.

My kids seem to always be dying of thirst the moment we leave the house, so I always have to have some water bottles with me. After a recent recall of a well known brand I had to look elsewhere for kids bottles. These CamelBak bottles are great. They are a great size too carry enough water for my little man. He can hold it perfectly with his hands and open and close the top. The straw is nice and big, which I think is great to help minimize spilling from his little mouth. I generally put this bottle in a special bottle pocket in my bag, but once my husband just threw it in the bag and when I opened the back it was lying on the bottom and I thought for sure the water would have spilled out,but no! Not one drop came out of the bottle!!! Amazing! Definitely leak-proof and perfect for little hands and mouths!

Here are some observations from my wife. What a great little water bottle for my daughter. She loves drinking ice water, and this insulated bottle is perfect for avoiding condensation rings everywhere. And the spill/leak-proof design is working perfectly for us. The only thing I would’ve liked from this water bottle would’ve been some kind of clipping function for the handle, as she asked first thing to clip her water bottle to her baby stroller for our walk. With that said, a simple carabiner will work just fine for us. And the shark design is fun. She’s been counting the number of sharks on the bottle and wants me to name the different kinds of sharks.Gonna have to brush up on my shark silhouette names—hah!

This is a decent water bottle for Little Mister who is almost 3 years old. He loves it. It is perfectly sized for his hands to grip it and I like that it is relatively clear so I can see at a glance how much liquid is remaining. I also like that it has an additional layer which provides insulation so it doesn't sweat like his stainless steel CamelBak does. We have used other bottles but this seems to be his favorite. The straw closure is still too difficult for him to open on his own, even though he has already mastered all the baby gate latches in the house. Not a big deal though since it prevents him from playing with it like he has with other snap closure straw bottles. Overall,it's a great bottle for kids.

I got these water bottle for my toddler as a better option to a sippy cup and he loves it! It is easy for him to grip and he can easily drink out of it. It is made in a way that your child has to bite down and than suck, this makes it pretty much leak proof! Sadly over the last few weeks the rubbery piece has split a bit and now it does leak if it is upside down or on it's side. Although that is definitely frustrating it did hold up for several months with constant. everyday use. The colors and design are super fun! It is easy to take all the pieces apart and clean. A slandered metal straw cleaning brush can fit through the straw piece for easy cleaning.Overall a great water bottle for a varietyof ages!

We were caught off guard a bit when it came to how to use this water bottle. Turns out, you have to pinch the tip, between your lips or teeth to open the waterway up. Once we got that down, it was easy for him to use it. Now it is my sons favorite water bottle. I personally like how easy it is to clean and to refill. It is also spill proof, which has been tested by my kids over and over again. It does a okay job at keeping water cool, but it's only an hour before it feels like it would have if it wasn't insulated. So long car rides are not something you get this water bottle for if you want to keep ice cold water. Good news is, my son likes it when it isn't ice cold anyways.

CamelBak is a great, quality brand and no surprise, I'm very pleased with this product. It's sturdy, thick-walled and comes completely apart for cleaning. The kiddo took a second to figure out the "bite-sip" method of drinking but then really got a kick out of it. She ends up biting all her straws anyway, at least now it's purposeful. The "flip top" is a little stiff right now, kiddo has to really pull at it, sometimes with both hands, but I'm sure it will loosen up as time goes by.This is a great sip bottle that will last, I'm sure little brother will get to use it as well when he's old enough...if Sissy gives it up...! Now I want one for me!

I was happy to find a bottle with a spout my daughter can't bite off (yet). I am unsure how well it insulates because my toddler usually drinks room temperature water. It has a good solid build. However I do not approve of the way the spout is completely exposed even when closed, there should have been a way the spout part went inside totally instead of it being exposed to air and germs. Not the most hygienic. Also its very hard to clean the INSIDE of the spout, I noticed over time it starts to collect dirt and there's no way to access it, I have to use cotton swabs to get the dirt out and then rewash.

Kiddo likes it, and the colors are nice and bright. Washed well in the dishwasher (top rack) although I don't think it is really that well insulated. Better than a regular cup but not as good as a thermos. My main issue though is that the silicon piece that goes in your mouth isn't covered when you close it. So it would be terrible for taking out on a hike or a bike ride, seems odd for the camel back brand. You would get a mouth full of trail dust/dirt every sip. For that reason it stays in the house, and hopefully away from the cathair.

Double wall insulation helps keep water colder for a longer period of time but also prevents condensation from building up on the outside. Includes 4 pieces so cleaning is fairly simple, the valve is fully removable and easy to wash. Leak/spill prod and kid friendly for over 3, my 3 year old does gave difficulty opening the top when closed.

I really like these camelbak sip cups. The straws and cup itself are easy to clean. I wish the mouth piece was a little easier to clean. Sometimes things can get stuck in the main part so make sure you have various size bottle brushes to get in there and clean! This has so far proven to be spill proof

I got this for my 14 month old son. He loves it. this is the only way i am able to get him to drink water. He figured it out instantly.. he is able to carry it around, it feel good on his gums, i all around love everything about this water bottle.

I love the graphics on this bottle. They have held up in the dishwasher just fine. It comes apart for cleaning and reassembles super easy - plug in the straw. Our grandson loves it and feels like a king carrying it around.
