The crossover cable does its job, linking a Mac and a Windows PC via the ethernet ports. I made sure the length I ordered was more than sufficient to bridge the gap between them.The BUT comes in with the delivery of the package, the courier said it had been delivered, but it hadn't been.Amazon had to send another cable, at no extra cost, to me.It's the major problem with buying on-line as I've discovered!

The connectors are firm, and can be difficult to remove if necessary. Apart from that, this cable is easy to deal with. Is clearly very well made and does not twist. It is delivered in a not-too-tight loop, which helps the condition it arrives in. Performance wise, the connection I now have between my MacMini and my router is very fast indeed. Am pleased with this item.

Seems to work fine. The 30m Cat6 cable Is currently connected to a WinXP computer via a 20m Cat5 cable! Thats until I get the time to pull up more floorboards and completely replace the old Cat5 in a few days time. So working even if currently slowed down by having to continue through a cat5 cable.

For the length it is expensive, given that I just needed a 2m cable, but it does the job. I have seen that a Cat 5e or even Cat5 would normally do the job, but it is a way of future proofing when we all have 1GB lines from the internet and the rest of the hardware can cope with the transfer speeds.

So it's a purple coloured patch cord. Why purple? Well, our bedroom colour scheme is purple so it helps to camouflage the wireless bridge extending Wi-Fi to the bedroom for Kindle and Tablet use in bed.Just ... works ... how do you give a bad review to a UTP cable? Unless it doesn't work...

2nd time buying one of these cables having previously bought a 20 meter length to run from my living room to bedroom in a bid to avoid going wireless, I have came back to this product but in the shortest available option to link my SMART TV to my router, this does this very well indeed.

I bought my first example of this cable in February & the experience was so good I bought another one 8 months later in October. The cable was as specified, despatched well-packaged for the rigours of the postal system & delivered by return & it works. What more could anyone want?

I used this to run around the outside of the house (easier than going to loft) between switches, it being brown, it doesn't look any worse than BT cable (although it's thicker), and the even thicker stuff you bury is even less flexible.Recommended.

These were bought as infrastructure for a professional Gaming LAN.They are superb , reliably and fast.The colour is also great as it's easy to identify infrastructure cabling as opposed to user cables.

Very well made lead and did exactly as described and was very useful in networking two computers togethers. I would definitely look towards purchasing more in the future if I require more of these leads.

Does anyone sell "Snagful" cables? It does what it says on the lable. Pity that Amazon don't stock more. I ordered 3 and they came from 3 different warehouses each with a stock of one!

OK, it's definitely black and 0.5m long. I use it for Gigabit Ethernet, not sure of advantage of 550m(M)hz operation and how you snag something just over a foot I don't understand.

Yes, it's definitely Blue, 0.5M long and a cable! It's pretty difficult for an 18" cable to snag and I have no way of checking the 550MHz bit (not Megahertz, not Milihertz).

Well I have had not problems with the cable the delivery was on time. I use this with Max Value HDMI Extender and it works fine.

It arrived, it looks like it should and it's the right length. I haven't used it yet so I'm not sure about functionality.
