I have been using Braun Silk-expert Pro 3 for over 6 weeks now and I’ve already started to see the results. I have been using it on my legs, my arms, underarms and bikini area consistently with the Braun app. Over the six weeks period, the changes in hair growth are quite noticeable, especially on my legs and arms. The hair on my legs and arms are thinner and they appeared significantly less while the bikini areas and underarms will need a few more weeks to see the result, as the hair are thicker. However, with these thicker areas, I have noticed a slower hair growth and patches where the hair has grown thinner and are eventually falling off. Before using the IPL pro, the areas need to be clean shaven,otherwise you might smell burning hair. The treatment is not painful at all but if you are using it for the first time, you might feel that it stings a little bit. However, with continuous use you get used to it, it becomes painless, effortless and undemanding. It far less time consuming to other hair removal methods and you can do it in the comfort of your own home, in your own time. To be fair, the benefits of IPL outweigh the cost. With the IPL, you don't need to pay for expensive and painful waxing treatment in the salon or spend a fortune on hair removal cream, blades or removal wax strips. The advantages of the IPL system is that it is very cost effective and not extremely time consuming process. You don’t have to worry about shaving your body every two days and hence, you don't get skin irritation, skin bumps and razor cuts. Your skin feels soft, smoother and hair free. You start noticing less ingrowing hairs and your confidence increases as your skin feels absolutely amazing. With summer fast approaching, the IPL pro is undoubtedly a must buy. With its ergonomic design, it's simple and easy to use. The IPL comes with a pouch, a disposable razor and two precision heads, one to use for larger areas while the other one is to use for bikini areas and underarms which are brilliant. The Braun app helps with reminding you when you're next session is and how many sessions that you have completed. I found it easier to do the whole areas on the same day. It easier to keep track. On the whole, I definitely recommend Braun IPL. Like mentioned above, the benefits outweigh the price. Its not only cost effective but it also boosts your confidence. Your skin feels amazing and you have more time to do things you love instead of worrying and spending a fortune on expensive hair removal treatment. This is done in the comfort and privacy of your home. After so long, I’m starting to love my legs again, so smooth and I’m feeling confident to wear my short this summer whereas before I would be wearing leggings mostly. My first impressions; upon opening my parcel I was very pleased to see my Braun Pro 3 came with a storage/travel pouch, face/precision attachment and a Venus razor. The bag came in very handy as I was worried I would lose the face/precision attachment or have to keep the device in its box which would be a pain on holiday. The inclusion of a razor was very helpful when getting started and I thought it was a nice touch. It is a mains-powered (both UK and EU plugs) device as opposed to rechargeable - which keeps costs down and also helps the device itself to be smaller and lighter in weight than some of the rechargeable ones I’ve come across in the past and I don't need to remember to charge it,which when looking after two toddlers is highly likely. It’s comfortable to hold in the hand, and it is easy enough to navigate the body and manoeuvre. I found the App; which could be used with your phone or tablet is really just there to keep track of when you’ve done a treatment and to remind you when to do more, was nothing more than a calendar which you could just make entries and reminders. I personally epilate and shave so this was my first time using such a product and I thought it would be painless so was a little shocked when doing my 48 hour tester to experience a warming, tingle, like hot pins when you fire the pulse of light. It really isn't bad and after a few goes you do get used to it, just wanted to raise awareness so others don't go into this expecting it will be totally pain-free. I knew I wouldn't suddenly going to be hair-free overnight, but I didn't expect such a lengthy process. You need to shave first, then use it, and expect to re-use the device over-and-over during subsequent sessions to start seeing a gradual reduction in the strength and thickness of the hair. In order to see results you will have to be strict and thorough, although I'm sure once you start seeing a result you'll be able to use the device less and less. Personally after using the device for 6 weeks I am slowly seeing a slowing in my leg hair growth, I have not noticed any difference in my arm pit hair but understandably the hair is thicker and darker there. I will maintain the routine I have currently got myself in, I can understand that the process may seem lengthy but after getting familiar with the device and process it does speed up, I just needed to make sure I allocated enough time to do it all in one sitting so I didn't accidently do some areas more than others, which with two toddlers isn't always ideal. I would definitely recommend this product to others, it is a slow and steady process which will eventually produce results, obviously the process will vary based on hair colour, hair thickness and skin tone but I think it is worth it. I will give an updated review after using the product for 6 months.

So to start off with the machine comes in a really informative strong box with lots of information of the product its feautures and what it does. After opening the box the ipl is s really sturdy but not too heavy piece of equipment which is really easy to use. I love so much about this IPL but will stick to the main points. So i have olive skin tone and dark hair but during the winter my skin tone is a few shades lighter. One of the key feautures of this product is the fantastic continuous flash thst helps you cover more of the area faster.It is so simple to use and you can use it whilst watching your favourite tv show it is that effortless. The machine has three lights on the side and adaptsto your skin tone depending on where you are using the machine on your body or face. It comes with two attatchments one for face and one for body which is a really great feauture. Thr machine is such a proffesional piece of kit it feels like having a salon treatment in the comfort of your own home. If the machine is not placed properly on the skin a red light will show you need to adjust which is great. Finally the results for me have been with no exaggaration have been amaaazing.The growth on my arms and legs are almost non existent they really seem to have worked this is after only having the machine for five weeks and the results for me personally have been worth it. Its reccomended that for the first 12 weeks or so the IPL should be used every week however at one point i was on holiday and didnt manage to use it for 2 weeks but there was no growth at all.I took a razor with me to touch up but bought it back home unused because i didnt need it,for me thats how the results have been. I must stress that there is a little bit of unnoticable growth nothing like how it used to grow but as i mentioned i still have a bit more of the treatment to go. My facial hair has reduced significantly and has significantly reduced my hair removing routine.I know some people were a little apprehensive of using a razor on their face as i was but it really does enhance the results of the treatment with the way it can zap the hair follices.I have noticed no ill effects of this and i am really happy with the results. A small negative is once you switch the machine on the only way to switch it off is removing it from the mains other than that the IPL is a well good quality product worth a try.

I have been using the Silk-expert Pro 3 IPL hair removal system for 6 weeks now. After the first treatment don't expect to be hair free, perseverance is needed here. However, after my second treatment I started noticing slower hair regrowth, patchy hair. After the third treatment, there was a considerable difference, my hairs started to fall out! After the initial 6 weeks, I probably have a 70/80 percent reduction in hair growth, which is absolutely fantastic to achieve such results! The main advantage of the IPL system is that it is less time consuming and painless. I don't have to worry about my hairy legs as much as I used to! Prior to using the IPL system, I had never experienced it before,so I was quite nervous. IPL (Intensed Pulsed Light) consists of light pulses which project on to the skin to prevent hair regrowth. The melanin absorbs the light and makes the hair go in to resting phase. Hence, top ups every 1 or 2 months are essential to prevent hair regrowth. IPL works on a variety of hair colour and skin tones. Usually the greater the contrast between skin tone and hair colour, the more effective the IPL can be. I have a mid to fair skin tone with black hair, almost the perfect candidate you could say! Yes, this method of hair removal is very different to other hair removal methods, mainly being very positive. I no longer have to worry about my hair growing back every few days, getting razor bumps, skin irritation, and cuts. Also, in the long run, it's definitely cost saving as I dont need to buy wax strips, which were very messy and left a sticky residue. IPL is not only cost effective, but has left me feeling smoother for longer! Finally the razors, epilator, and wax strips can be put away! I love being almost hair free, with no problem of ingrowing hairs! I love the ergonomic design, it's easy to hold and looks very attractive. Included is also a disposable razor and a very handy well made pouch. Overall I definitely recommend Braun IPL, if you want to spend less time worrying about shaving your hairy legs, then IPL is the way forward! Your purse will also thank you for it in the long run! I love being smooth, thank you Braun!

At first I was terrified of using Braun Silk-expert Pro 3 PL3132 IPL because I kept thinking it would be painful but once I got up the courage to use it, it was absolutely fine. It doesn't hurt at all and the results are amazing! I'm one of those unfortunate women who tend to have hair that grows like wild fire and this has worked wonders. I was having to epilate my legs every week and even then there was stubble after a few days and I was epilating my face every day. The first week I epilated and used the Braun Silk-expert Pro 3 PL3132 IPL, 2 days later. The flash from the laser was really bright for me so I wear sunglasses so that I don't see flashes of light,this for me 8s the only thing I don't like about the Braun IPL. For the face and underarms the "light as a feather" feature works amazing well. You press the button and it reduces the strength of the laser so that it's more comfortable on your sensitive areas. The result was better than I expected, stubble started to appear later in the week on my legs. The only down side was I could smell a slight hair burning smell at times. On my face the hairs weren't as visible as they usually are the next morning. The following week I emulated and then used the IPL the next day, this time there was no burning smell and the results lasted longer, stubble appearing in most parts at the end of the week. After the third week I had slight tough patches of hair and my face I could go without epilating for a few days. Now I don't have to epilate and use the Braun IPL every week. I've gone to using it every 2 weeks with amazing results. I can't believe how well Braun Silk-expert Pro 3 PL3132 IPL works. I wish this was around when I was a teenager.

The contents of the box included the manuals, the IPL machine, a sturdy pouch the power charger and a venus razor. Instruction manuals were simple with clear images of how to use the product and how often is recommended. The machine is not wireless for those who may be looking for one that is. The head of the IPL is quite large, this is ideal as it can do more surface area on the skin whilst reducing time. There is also a secondary head for the machine which is more narrow ideal for smaller surface areas such as the upper lip and other facial areas. The initial use for me for this 6 week was that I had noticed the machine was really fast in sensing skin detection and so I was able to quickly glide through each leg within a matter of minutes I was really pleased with the speed of it.Overall, for my treatment I had only decided to do my lower legs and upper lips. Over the past few weeks, I have seen a much greater difference in my hair growth, such as finer hairs and a reduced amount of growth. I have not yet moved to lenghting the process to bi monthly but I have seen and been given many compliments as of the results of my treatment and will do so in the coming weeks. I can see the hair growth has been inhibited to patches that would take longer than a week for hairs to appear in contrast to shaving where it grew a day or so later, for which grows very slowly and finely. Towards the last few weeks of my sessions I have seen only hair growth only on the front my legs not on the sides of them. My skin feels very smooth without the razor feel, the hairs feel softer, I really like the feel of them and am very pleased with the results of them. I wished i had made this investment sooner.

I have used Braun Silk Expert PTO 3 for the last six weeks. I had no previous experience with IPL hair removal treatment so didn't know what to expect. Normally I use just standard shaver because the epilator caused the hair ingrown. The idea of becoming hair free is my goal and would definitely build my confidence about my appearance. This product comes with a travel pouch, Venus shaver, mains cable with UK and EU plug and 2 treatments heads: •Standard head which is ideal to treat large areas •Precision head which been designed for small, hard to reach areas (face, bikini line, underarms, knees). Instruction is very clear to follow and the app can be downloaded to phone for an easy way to keep a track of the treatments. My first treatment was not the easiest one.I had a trouble to get the right skin contact in the beggining, no many flashes been released and I was missing big patches. It took me a while to get hang of it but learned how to keep the device in right angle. Treating legs by gliding type of treatment was quick and effortless; treating bikini line, underarms or face is more time consuming as this has to be done by stamping method when the precision head is used - this has slower sequence of flashing comparing with standard head. I have started notice the significant differences in hair grown in 4 weeks on my legs and bikini line. There is minimal change so far in my underarms and face area but the product is recommended to be used frequently for 12 weeks so I'm sure by this time I will be able to get the results I want. I'm very pleased I get hang of the treatment which really works!

This hair removal tool is as good as the time and effort you are willing to put in, and having it tested for 6 weeks without missing the application day, I am super impressed. It comes well packaged and includes a razor to help you get started straight away.It's well built with solid plastics and shaped to be easy to hold, although smaller hands may find things a minor stretch. Being corded comes with the usual balance of advantages / disadvantages that need no explanation; on the whole my view is that this particular type of product is better off with the fixed cord for consistency and to avoid the rapid drain that cordless types can suffer from. If you disagree, fair enough,and you may wish to consider something different. I would say it is more effective on pale skin with darker hair, and though this isn't a static requirement, if you have a skin tone or hair colour that is less likely to suit (or one it is known not to work on), then this drops away. It's also important to manage expectations too. It works great and will improve and help others that are willing to stick with it, but it's not a miracle product and if you're expecting instant results, or absolute perfection of any kind you'll almost certainly be disappointed. For best results you have to use regularly for a relatively extended period (several months). Overall I would reccomend this product for people that are going to put the time and effort because then this product is the one you'll need.It works great!

This product was exactly what I was looking for, after having tried epilating, waxing and shaving I was really looking for something that would give me definate results. Initially I was scared regarding burning or the pain being too much. However this IPL (intensive pulse light) machine was so easy to work with. I experiend very minor pain and was actually expecting this to be quite painful, despite me having a very high pain threshold this was nothing. I felt very slight tingles. The design of the machine makes it easy to hold and work along the areas where treatment is needed. The two different size heads are very useful for when wanting to focus on either a large area or small.While usigg this machine I felt very slight pain and was wandering whether this is actually working or not. The automatic setting is my favourite where it adjusts the strength when placed on your skin. For those who are extremely sensitive to pain then you would love this because you can keep it at level one. I experienced reduction of hair growth by week 5 and this was on my arms and upper lip as well as my jawline. I did try this on my underarms but it seems to be taking just a little longer. But no doubt with the experience of using this machine I can confidently say that this machine works. It came with a venus razor which was very nice and easy to quickly shave before treatments. I would definitely recommend this to everyone who is tired of weekly shaving and regular waxing. This machine gives amazing results.

The Braun Silk Expert Pro 3 PL3132 is ergonomically designed making it really comfortable to hold and use. The device was lightweight, and relatively quiet in comparison to my epilator which was really good. The device was easy to turn on and off. I was pleased to see a manual razor and a bag for easy storage was included in the box. I was glad that the Pro 3 runs from a mains cord and that it's not a rechargeable device, due to it being a mains powered device it makes it easy and quicker to use the product and you don't have to worry about charging it up. I have been using the Pro 3 for a few weeks and I can already see a significant reduction in the amount of hairs growing on my face, arms,legs and bikini line. I found it really easy to manoeuvre the Pro 3 into the required positions on my body. To ensure I achieve the best results with the Pro 3, I shaved first, then I used it, and I had to reuse the device over and over during subsequent sessions to start seeing a gradual reduction in the strength and thickness of the hair. At first I used the gentle mode which is great for first time users and then as I got used to using the device, I then started to use the gliding mode which made my sessions much faster. There was not too much pain and I had no discomfort using the device. The areas I used the Pro 3 on feel really smooth and soft. Overall I am very impressed with the initial results and I will continue to use this device.

I have to say I was a bit wary about trying the Braun Silk Expert 3 IPL at first. I was sceptical about what results could be achieved and a little worried that it would be uncomfortable to use, having never had treatment using this technology before. I was made to feel much more confident after reading the comprehensive, yet easy to follow, instruction booklet. The device is very easy to use, having both a standard and gentle setting that you can switch between at the touch of a button. My only slight issue is getting sufficient contact with the skin on harder to reach areas. The backs of my legs and ankles in particular take a bit of negotiating! This is worth considering if you are less mobile/flexible,but could easily be remedied with the help of another person. I was surprised not to feel any discomfort whilst using the device as I was expecting a stinging sensation. The only noticeable feeling was that of heat when using on the more delicate areas. I found the process to be quick and easy. I have been using the Silk Expert for approximately 6 weeks (on my legs, underarm and bikini line) and am seeing some good results. Whilst I still have hairs growing back, the hairs are fewer in quantity and take longer to grow. I am confident that with continued use I will see even more improvement.

I have been using this device for 6 weeks now. My first opinion after receiving the product was how sleek and professional the packaging looked. I found the purple colour of the device itself made the product seem a little dated however this was just cosmetic and had no impact on the use of the product. I love the fact that it also came with a razor to help prepare the skin for first use. The instructions were really easy to understand and the two different methods of use were both really easy to do. I had seen other reports which said it feels like an elastic band snapping against the skin however when using the device I felt absolutely no pain whatsoever.I was surprised at how quick it was to do each treatment and used it for both legs and underarms. The only downside when using the device was that the red light emitted around the sides is very very bright so it was difficult to look around the area being treated, I had to turn my head to the side whilst doing it. I started to notice slight hair reduction after 4 uses and I'm gradually noticing less hair is growing back overall. The effects are slightly less than I first imagined they would be however I am very happy with the results so far and will continue to use the device regularly. I am very impressed with this product.

This is just brilliant! Really does work. I have dark brown hair and before I would have to shave my legs every day (as I swim most days) And now I forget to shave :) It does take a few weeks to start seeing results, so be patient. For me I started to find little soft bald spots where no hairs were growing back then eventually cleared the whole area I was treating. For me the best bit is that it removes that overnight shadow, plucked chicken look that you can get with dark hair on your legs. You do have to keep using it say once a month to keep it in check but Its so quick and easy to use. I have used an Panasonic one before a few years ago and although that worked great too,It needed to be charged and so I had to plan when I was going to do this (as you have to be freshly shaven/waxed/plucked to do this) This one has long lead so I just grab it when its convenient for me and go. Plus the Panasonic one was slow at reloading after pressing the light. This one is so much quicker. I can click and then click next area straight away. Also I love the way it has built in screening to output the brightest strength of lazer but not so much that It will damage the skin at the same time. Over all really pleased and I will never not own one of these now! xxx

I've never used anything like this before. And I do remove hair from a lot of places so having this meaning there is a long term result is great. It comes in a lovely presented box with plenty of information on. Comes with a lovely bag to store it in aswell. It is corded which i would have preferred it to be cordless so it would be more compact and easier to handle. I used this for my arms, underarms, legs, peach fuzz on my face and my intimate area. And boy did it take a long time but so does using a regular razor. The difference is the braun ipl has longer lasting results. I did the peach fuzz on my face and the braun ipl has a safety feature where it chooses the intensity of the flashedautomatically depending on the skin tone and this is such a good feature because in reality I probably would have chosen the same setting for all of my skin only to find that would have been a mistake. Anyway back to peach fuzz thanks to this braun ipl I can go 3 months without being worried about my peach fuzz on my face. As a first time user of anything like this I am amazed. I was doubtful to begin with but it actually does work. I'm very pleased with the product and deffinetly reccomend.

As a working mother with 3 children, finding time for myself is rare,So I'm always on the look out for anything that makes taking care of myself easier and quicker. Especially the chore that is shaving. Epilators, hair removal and other shaving products scare me with the thought of the pain you have to endure for not much of a result. This did make me feel a bit apprehensive at first but I needn't have been! The Pro-3 was easy to set up, with 2 heads to pick from depending on the area you wanted to remove hair from. The instructions were clear and easy, with the added extra option of downloading the app to help you if your a bit stuck or need a bit more information on how to use the IPL.The main area that bothers me is my legs, so I've mainly been using it on them. It did take about 10 minutes on first set up to get the hang of, but once you get going it glides with ease and minimal effort. I'm now 6 weeks into using it and I'm noticing considerable changes already. Braun recommend 12 weeks of weekly use to see the full results but im already happy with the results I'm seeing. This has now turned into my go to product and a worth while investment!
