I bought this as a replacement for my broken Bodum glass. Accidents happen and I knew I'd be buying one of these sooner or later. Fortunately these products exist and it was one of the reasons I opted for the Bodum cafetiere over cheaper supermarket brands in the first place.The only issue I have with this product and it's predecessor is that they are a nightmare to get out of the plastic handle/holder. When you have broken glass and you're trying to push the glass out of the base you have to be really careful not to cut yourself!Apart from this, this glass is excellent, durable and looks stylish. It's the perfect size for a weekend brew for 2 using approx 800ml of water.Love it.

Having been invited by Amazon to review this item how can one possibly resist. This is a fine replacement glass for a Bodum Coffee maker. Clarity and fit are indistinguishable from the original and certainly the performance is little short of normal. If one had any criticism it might be the lack of any product development since the original purchase - something along the lines of tinted glass or go-faster stripes would have been interesting but perhaps they are saving these enhancements in order to help the launch of the next model. All in all - a fine product.

Bought two of these for my Mother-in-law who had broken both of hers and couldn't get a replacement locally. Really useful that I could get them sent directly to her. She has two different models of cafetierre and they fit one better than the other. Both are a little bit "loose" (that might be because the holders a quite old...?) and you need to keep a hand on the top of the pot when pouring out the last couple of cups.Arrive promptly and when expected.

The cafetiere of the same size has been in use at home for a while now, and the glass used to be utilized on its own as a recipient for another great component of the best breakfast, the juice maker. It is the right size just to fit under the gutter of the machine to collect the fresh juices. Ideal, and we are lucky with still being having the coffee from the original cafetière.

I broke my original glass and was pleased to see I could get a replacement. However, it took me ages to figure out which one would fit. I ordered this 8 cup one in the end as I checked the item number on the Bodum website which had the correct dimensions (Spare glass, 8 cup, 1.0 l, 34 oz, dia 9.6 cm, H 18 cm). I think the dimensions Amazon have are the box dimensions.

Just what I wanted. I broke my previous glass last year and I've been looking for a replacement ever since. Thank goodness I found this on Amazon. Easy to put back in the holder, I just put it in hot water for a couple of minutes then eased it into place and "wallah" (sorry too much Chicken Run) worked a treat and coffee is again served at my house.

PERFECT replacement glass. It arrived very well packed against delivery damage and identical to the one I broke.Although a little pricy, the Bodum glass stands up well to everyday usage and, had it not been for my own carelessness, my original glass would have gone on for years.Don't risk a cheap alternative, get Bodum. You'll be glad you did

Glass beaker that fitted our Bodum cafetiere, replacing broken one. Obviously (it's glass) not sturdy or durable. Noticeably loose in the frame (ie looser than the original)."8 Cup Glass Beaker, 1 L, ø 9.6 cm" Taking measurements by caliper, the outside diameter (ø) is 9.55cm. A good fit for the Bodum cafetiere frame would be a 1 L, ø 9.7 cm.

This glass jug has been a perfect replacement for my original Bodum cafetiere, because the first jug had got broken. It came in what appeared to be a Bodum box, although the glass itself is completely plain and unbranded. I can see no other difference to the original, and it has now been used several times.

This is a glass insert for a Bodum coffee press. It's made of glass. It fits inside a Bodum coffee press (unlike the previous generic one I bought and then threw away). It makes me coffee, transforming me from dopey troll to human being, each and every morning. Therefore I like it. That is all.

Arrived quickly. This is a genuine Bodum spare and replaced the glass I'd accidentally dropped. I much prefer using my Bodum cafetiere which has a quality mechanism and feels good to use when compared to the supermarket brands I've purchased in the past, so I was glad I could get spare parts.

Why drag yourself around the shops looking for what you need when with one quick click of your mouse, hey-presto, the goods are on their way to you. The 'Bodem Spare Glass' x2, arrived intact, due to the very sturdy packaging, within a few days. And at an excellent price, too. Very satisfied.

Replacement glass product arrived quickly and was the correct size as stated on the item description. Not sure why the old one broke in the first place and £9 seems like a lot for what is essentially a small piece of glass, buy hey at least they are replaceable and if it makes good coffee...

Was very pleased to find I could replace the broken glass in my cafetier with glass made by the manufacturer, thus saving me having to fork out for a whole new one. If your holder is plastic, like mine I found it was easier to fit the glass after leaving the frame in hot water for a while.

It is what it is, a glass for an eight cup cafetiere. It fits my holder and does the job but I have now bought a metal cafetiere which works really well. I use this when we have guests. We make up both cafetieres, use this one first and the double walled metal one is still hot for refills.
