A small but vital purchase that has allowed me to make great coffee again with my very old stove-top espresso maker. The exact dimensions of the rubber gaskets (when new) are: 6.6 cm (in inches 2 9/16 in) outside diameter and 5.0 cm (2 in) inner diameter. I say "when new" because I think these rings expand slightly with use and after exposure to heat.The kit contains 3 rubber seals and a replacement filter plate. Although Bialetti-branded, these work perfectly with my ancient Lagostina 3-cup coffee maker (if you are puzzled by the cup designation, remember that they are talking about the tiny espresso shot-type cups used in Italian caffè establishments).

My 3-cup Bialetti was coughing, spluttering and spitting most of the coffee onto the stove. I noticed that the gasket was black and crumbling with age and thought the two might be connected. Duh, of course they were. These new parts arrived and the hardest bit was getting the old disintegrating gasket out. Now the pot's working like new. I used to have one of those electric chrome monstrosities - the Bialetti is better by far, easily the best and simplest coffee maker. Given you have a gas stove that is.By the way, a few reviewers have moaned that it's hard to find the right sizes without Googling - and then omit to tell us where they found the answer. I found the info on the Bialetti US website - there's a 'sizefinder'

First time I tried the machine after changing the washer, I thought it was faulty as all sorts of problems with the water not rising into the upper chamber and tiny amounts of burned sputtering coffee. Read up on it online and found lots of others having the same problem and it is down to the washer needing to be broken in. I followed suggestion to tighten the machine far more than normal to condense the washer, left it like that for about 24-36 hours and then made sure to tighten it a lot the next time I used it. Hey presto, all working as before. I write all this as I did not notice any comments about this on here prior to buying. So, in the end,

The product is ok - this was the first filter ring I changed since I bought the machine and I have to say... it's not exactly as the one the machine comes with.It's good, it does the job but if you want to be a perfectionist...I always have some small coffee bits on the bottom of the mug because the filer cannot close 100% with this one and also it's a little loose - the original one was 100% fixed and nothing could have escaped thefilter...but with this one, the filter moves a little inside.I don't know...maybe in time the little plastic will inflate somehow for continue use and high temperature.If something changes, I will update this comment :)

I have been using a 6 cup Bialetti for the past 4 or so years. Well, I thought that the original filter was fine and that the coffee was great... How mistaken i was! Bought these and fitted one - oh yes! Before I replaced the filter the coffee was good but had an ever so slightly burned taste (very feint, I, being an ignoramus just thought it was supposed to be like that) - it looks now that I didn't get a tight enough fit with the original. The replacement, being this product, so far, has produced a much greater flavour and no feint burned taste. Very happy!

I buy these for the rubber seals, but why do I have to buy filters at the same time? The seals are great, fit perfectly and do what they're supposed to. They also last reasonably well considering they're pressurised and regularly subjected to high temps. But if you clean the metal filters they last forever. I still have the 2nd one I put in my wee Moka and it's fine. That's 2 in 10 years. I'd much rather be able to buy a 6 pack of seals with no filters, and buy them seperately if needed. If not for that grumble I'd have given 5 stars rather than 3 and 1/2.

Not the easiest to find. The ONE CUP replacement seals seem to be less popular and I have only found them in these packages.The 'one cup' lovely morning friendly coffee percolator suits me just fine each day so to have readily available replacement seals is most important. A scourse for seals alone at a reasonable price, would be brilliant.This last order was delivered in good time.

It is often difficult to find spare parts for equipment, in particular from the firms who supply the original product. After extensive searches at hardware stores, I eventually obtained the replacement parts from Amazon and I am pleased with the speed of response, the cost and quality. This item is an original Manufacturer's part and fits my third party Ikea cafetiere perfectly.

These are great! I think I prefer them to the original! These ones fit in nice, but not too tight, so it's easier to remove when rinsing. The original one became quite difficult and I needed to pry it out with a knife, which began to damage it. I would only rinse under the filter every couple weeks...but now I can rinse under there more often, with ease. Great purchase.

My husband burnt the old washer on by leaving the empty coffee pot on the stove. I thought we'd have to buy a new pot until I discovered this replacement set. The only difficulty was deciding what size I needed. The pot actually makes two mugs of coffee but I reckoned that would equate to 6 espresso cups. The set arrived within 3 days and was a perfect fit.

exactly as described, the filter and washer actually work better than the items fitted when new. not sure if i got bad parts to begin with but these were very good value and made the moka work better. in a previous review of the moka itself i commented that it wasn't producing properly from new, it turns out this was fixed with these parts. recommend

Tad on the pricey side considering they cost next to nothing in Italy, but in the absence of anyone visiting from there for a while, had to plump for these. Performance wise they're absolutely fine and a welcome respite from the nearly perished rubber of my previous filter. My morning espresso is fun to make instead of a bit of a pain!
