Well worth the money because the genuine Bodum product has a metal ring in the centre of the filter which is so much better than other products which do not. This attention to detail ensures that the mesh edges remain intact and results in a better fit around the spindle. I am glad that I bought this well made product instead of deciding to buy a cheaper one since you often only get what you pay for. I would recommend this without any hesitation.

I bought two of these as both our cafetières mesh had started to fail and our coffee was getting to much grounds in the cup, or even fountained out of the top of the cafetière when plunging the filter unit down. They’ve brought a new lease of life to our cafetières. Result.

I ordered this because the jug is useless without it. It works fine and I therefore still have a decent coffee whenever I wish. However, i think it's expensive for what it is and may consider another method of coffee making once this dies a death or I lose it.

There's not much to say about a cafetiere mesh, but you may like to know that this is a very robust, good quality item. It seems expensive, but for me it's worth it: it does the job far better and lasts far longer than some cheaper replacements I have tried.

easily fitted, same dimensions as original and easily moulded to the shape of the bodum on first use, appears to be of good quality , has survived several months of dishwasher use, time will tell how durable it remains. Recommended

I bought this to fit a Stellar coffee jug and it is a good snug fit. However why are replacements never as sturdy as the originals? By the way this is no reflection on the seller. They cn only sell what's available to them.

Very pricey for such a small, spare part but beggars can't be choosers! By the time I had bought a new glass jug last year and now this new mesh filter, I probably would have been better off buying a new coffee maker!

This fitted brilliantly. My old one didn’t have a ring around the central hole, so I hoped it would be ok. It is slightly tight, but it’s easy enough to remove by rotating it, and it has loosened off a bit with use.

Bought to replace a mesh filter that was fraying at the edges. Needed a little filing to increase the diameter of the centre hole in order to fit a non-Bodum cafetiere. Otherwise simple to fit and does the job.

My La Cafetiere is as good as new after replacing the filter mesh. I have had it over two months and I have no problems with it. The quality of the filter mesh is very good and is highly recommended.

I liked the efficiency of how it fitted my cafetiere snugly when plunged down. No coffee grounds escaped as with my old one I used a teastrainer over my mug when pouring coffee out.

I bought a cheap french press and the mesh ripped after a couple of years so I bought this in the hope that it fitted. No problems at all, the coffee is as good as ever. Happy days.

Excellent item good quality edges do not fray and the hole is reinforced either side for a better seal, better than the cheap ones.This fits a Bodum 8 cup Madrid
