My husband is a chef and works well over 80 hours a week during the busy season. He has used these style birkenstocks for the past 6 years and would never try another brand. The insole is quality and thick, but after about 9 months or so they usually start to thin and wear away. We just get a quality pair of scholl's inserts and they are fine. The tops are very easy to clean with a wet towel, but the soles are a different story. Since they are slip resistant they have curvy weaves throughout the sole for better traction. the grooves are very skinny so food gets stuck in them and my husband tracks it all through the house.

I wanted something that didn't cut the circulation off to my feet when I was on them all day at the restaurant. These shoes are perfect!!! They are nonslip and extremely comfortable!!! I like the idea that when the cork footbed needs replacing (long time from now) I can just purchase those and not an entire new shoe!!** for those who know burkinstock products- this is a filled footbed, not open- fits as a "narrow" in their products.I have a wide square 8 1/2 foot. I purchased a 39. My mom has longer toes but a wide 8 1/2 also and she fits a 40. Need to test out the filled footbed to see what is best for you!!If you need something comfortable, reliable, and roomy when on your feet for long hours,

Really pleased I took a punt on these.Have been wearing Boston for years but they are getting really expensive now and they definitely do not last as long as they used to. My first pair lasted 3 or so years and my last pair barely 12 months.I saw these for £26 and thought that as I only use them as a house show I wouldn't mind the slightly croc/Boston hybrid look.Absolutely delighted with the comfort and fit and they don't look that different to the Boston maybe?( Apart from them being red which was a moment of madness I do not yet regret). Added bonus; the pointless buckle on the Boston that snags on throws and fabric furniture is no longer an issue.Boston will always look a little bit classier

I am a huge Birkenstock fan. I have been wearing birkenstocks for nearly 20 years and I have never had any negative comments about any of my purchases. I have a pair of navy blue super Birkis that I have been wearing for 17 years. I have had to replace the insole(which costs around $20) only twice during that time and they are still going strong. Because I have severe foot issues I am limited as to what I can wear on my feet, so "fun" shoes are a rare find. These are extremely fun and good for my feet. And the price was great. I recommend birkenstocks to anyone. They are worth every penny even at the full retail price.. so the discounted price I paid for these was just an added bonus!!!

I've worn Birkenstock footwear at work for years, I'm a chef, and it is the most comfortable for me. Last pair was a Birkenstock footbed, Alpro shoe with steel toe caps. These were very comfy and roomy but so heavy I had raised bumps on the tops of my feet. They split after 9 years so bought these. They are much lighter, as no toecap, looked on reviews and most people advised buying a size smaller as they seemed large. I did this but had to send them back as too small! The return service was impressively quick and easy and my new pair came within 4 days. They are very comfortable, but I did buy some memory insoles as the footbeds are a bit hard. Still wouldn't wear anything else.

My wife is writing this review as shoes were for her.I have given these a 4 star because even though they are comfy as anything, easy to wear and light. The actual mould of the shoe is rather hard. The cork support inside is a great thing but sometimes when feet swell up I need to remove it but the base/upper sole is completely flat and so hard its sore to walk on.I need to use the cork support which is great for supporting the sole of the feet and placement of toes etc but need to wear socks evertime as the cork hurts the feet when it rubs against the foot.

bought these for work (operating theatre) super comfy , bright and cheerful, washable, waterproof, covers whole of foot so nasty splashes on my socks :) lightweight to wear all day, the molder inner sole is comfy to stand on for long periods, nice roomy clogs - however wouldn't been seen dead them outside haha they make your feet look rather cartoonish which is fine at work as everyone wears quirky shoes - fancied green ones but the red were just too cute, not quite dorothies red sparkley ones though :)

These are great to keep by the back door for slipping on and off to go into the garden. They are sturdy enough to be used for most straight forward gardening jobs, especially in the summer, though I wouldn't choose to dig in them. Easy to clean, and the super-comfortable orthotic footbed comes out easily for cleaning and airing as and when required. These are a bargain price as well - thoroughly recommended.

Thease are so comftable to stand in for long periods of time and they have the bonus of birkinstocks cork footbed insole inside, so you know they will mould to your foots natraul shape,the added bonus if the footbed becomes to tired they can be replaced and the actual shoe kept, def recommend thease bad boys not heavy like wood and leather clogs but if not more durable I give thease 5 out 5. Def recommend

I am so happy to have found these Birkies! They are comfort-plus, indoors or out. They fit perfectlyand when I do my outside chores, I don't worry about getting them wet. I spend a lot of timeindoors, and they are the perfect house slippers, which was my main reason for buying them.All in all, I would advise anyone to get a pair. You just can't go wrong with them!!!!

These classics are fantastic. I've worn them all the time since they arrived. I'm almost always a 9 but learned from my purchase of some birki sandals that I need an 8 in birkenstocks. So I definitely recommend going a size down. Took a risk going for blue, thought they may be a bit too quirky. But they're great, I love them. £36 including shipping very well spent.

I bought these to wear as fancy dress, and also to be useful in the garden as they are waterproof. They are really comfortable and brightly coloured. Birki shoes are quite large, so I would recommend with these to try them on before you buy online (or get 1 size smaller than normal). They arrived extremely fast and were well packaged. Great bargain!

This product is quite rigid and works rather like flip flops, exercising your toes to get lift when you step forward. I bought my 'normal' foot size which feels a bit loose. My only real dislike is that the flip-flop action picks up small bits of loose material from the ground which get into the foot bed of the shoe and can be very irritating.

A bit large even though I ordered a 9 UK. I'm a nice round 10 UK, or 10.5 US, and I have plenty of wriggle room, unfortunately... But other than the size issues they're great shoes! The shoe is all one piece except for a nice, contoured, cork sole. They're super easy to clean and they're great for all around work and activities.

I bought a 41, the same as all my other shoes (and my walking boots are 42). They were too large.For returns you have to email the supplier to get a pre paid label, but amazon dont track the email in the returns section, so it's easy to miss, like I did for ten days.Now ordered size 40. I'm happy with the clogs otherwise.
