The Birkenstocks were a little tight upon initial use, however, the leather has since loosened up. I used a shoe stretcher and left them inside in direct sunlight to help the process along instead of wearing them to break them in. The grip on the bottom is great and feels secure.

Super comfortable right out of the box. I wish they came in more colors. Only complaint would be I wish the red stripe wasn't there. Shipped direct from Germany and although some reviewers complained about shipping problems - I did not have any. Actually came early!

Fantastic, love Birkenstocks's have worn them for years, but never bought the closed in style.Put them on as soon as they arrived and they were so comfortable. Bought them for wearing inthe garden and they do the job perfectly!

Having been a Theatre Nurse for over thirty years, I wish I had had these beauties all along. I've worn allsorts over the years, crocs being the worse. Love them to bits x

These have helped for all the standing I do each day baking. Great no-slip bottom. Fire to my feet. Didn't notice much of a "breaking in" time. I recommend them.

Very comfortable ~ not too tight on top of foot (instep ?) I have a big problem with shoes not having enough depth.

A perfect fit. Felt comfortable from the first day. Had lots of nice comments about the style. I love my Birkies.

Birkenstock are my favourite sandal/clog to wear all day any day. Easy to wear and I find them very comfortable.
