This was to replace a XLR-3.5mm jack lead for a MIC that came with a cheap audio kit, turns out putting 48V into a MIC to get audio pickup adds a lot of noise, and I didn't even realise it...Replaced just the CLR-3.5mm lead with this lead instead and lost nearly all of the noise, there is still some more noise but that is probably coming from the XLR-XLR and the 48V cheap power source, will need to invest in a good lead and audio interface to try and get a better result from my AT2020

Perfect for connecting a professional microphone to a PC via a USB port. Can then be used in conjunction with an external webcam for Zoom conferences and the like, where the presenter is located at a distance from the host computer.
