This memory does the job right away, little to no messing around.I was using 2400mhz memory which was failing to overclock at all, up the voltage and you'd get a failed boot on stock. So wanted to get the most out of my setup as I figured that the memory was the last thing that was letting my system down.Installed, enabled xmp as it was running at 2666 on stock. Once xmp was enabled 3600hmz with out issue... I pushed the infinity fabric to 1800 and again no issues. What I noticed right away was that my FPS was a lot more stable in games that are more CPU bound.Overwatch used to jump around 150-250fps but since switching the memory out the FPS is mostly 250 with some slight drops. If I was to be totally honest it's about the only think I have noticed, everything else works as it did before... Just a little more stable. If you are buying new id recommend this for a Ryzen build as others have pointed out. These are crucial e-die, did try to overclock but gave up as I didn't want to invest the time and was happy with the out of box performance, but I understand that 3800 or lower cas ratings are possible, but I just don't think 1-2% improvements are really worth it.

High quality memory from Crucial with Micro E-die chips - XMP profile 3600Mhz CL16 1.35V works out of the box in Gigabyte Aorus Elite X570 with Ryzen 3900X (@4.2Ghz 1.3V), just remember about two things:1) Use A2/B2 slots as advised in the MB manual, you'll not get XMP profile in the A1/B1 which is common mistake2) Set Infinity Fabric speed to 1800Mhz to get best performanceYou can easily tweak it to bit higher speeds or lower latency (using Ryzen DRAM calculator) for fun, but that requires voltage increase and performance difference is minimal, so after benchmarks I keep it daily on the XMP profile. Also what has to be noted, it is best value for money in class - so very highly recommended!

These sticks are micron Rev. E and they are better than some b-dies for a lot less money. (samsung refers to their silicon internally as b-die while micron refers to theirs as rev e)MB: B450M Mortar MAX, CPU: Ryzen 7 2700 @ 4.0Ghz, 1.35V, SOC, 1.08V, CLDO_VDDP 0.7VEDIT: A few things to note, my sticks are throwing errors at XMP stock voltage of 1.35V in HCI Memtest. Errors at XMP should be expected as it is an overclock profile, in most cases bumping voltages will get rid of the errors. Using Ryzen Dram Calculator and some manual timing tightening I ended up with this: 14-18-14-14-32-56-1CR-522TRFC, GDM OFF @ 3600 MT/S, 1.47V. In the calculator membench 0.8 i got a time of 109.6 on Easy.

I picked up the 3200/CL15 2x16GB set & managed to get these running at 3800/C16 with some very tight subtimings on a 3700X - Two of my friends have also picked these up & managed to hit the exact same clocks/timings at 1.39-1.4v so this memory seems very consistent. When OC'ing this RAM the performance for this price is absolutely unbeatable, and almost on par with Samsung B-Die.For the curious, all of the sticks my friends & I have purchased have used 19NM Micron E-Die.

RAM installed very easily. If you've ever been a kid and played with Stickle Bricks before you'll be able to install it easily (I built my PC myself and installed RAM before so not an issue for myself).Just make sure to enable XMP (Intel) or DOCP (AMD) in your motherboard's BIOS (not enabled by default) to get the advertised speed or you'll be limited to 2666MHZ.Been using this for a week and played lots of games and no issue so far.

Rare I would do a review but I thought I had to, ryzen and ram don't go together there is always some issue, I recently upgraded from a 2600 to a 3600 cpu on the same old board and thought I would now up my ram cl16 at this clock speed is mega pricey at the moment and this was a gamble but it paid off, worked flawlessly xmp worked ran prime95 and even a metro exodus bench perfect, if you are on the fence on this non bdie go for it!

Excellent kit for Ryzen system. You need to enable the settings in Bios to get it to run at advertised speed of 3200 MHz.I am not expert in this but I overclocked it easily using standard settings in Bios with auto voltage to 3600Mhz. It runs perfectly stable.I benchmarked my pc at both speeds and to be fair there was only around 2% difference in performance so even if you left it at 3200 you will not notice the difference.

Shows as 2666 in bios. And due to limitations regarding Intel. CHipsets cannot get it above 2133mhz. Any attempt even with xmp enabled crashes pc on boot. Rather annoyed as the crucial website said it was compatable with my Asus B150 Pro Gaming board. Just cos it works don't mean it works as advertised. So do lots of research or like me you buy fast. Memory that don't go quickly

Contrary to what the Crucial website says these RAM sticks work fine on the Gigabyte Aorus Pro x570 motherboard (odd they say 16gb sticks do work but the 8Gb do not). Just built a new system and set the XMP profile and speed/timings were recognised. Haven't done any hardcore memory tests but VR and games perform well. Will update review if things go downhill. Good so far.

Purchased this for a custom build PC I was building. Works perfectly and is fast enough.Only reason I have given 4 stars is because the delivery was poor. The item was packaged in a slim envelope with no protection and posted through my letter box. Considering I've paid 70 pounds for this I'd prefer if they had knocked on the door.

They aren't RGB but they work just fine, runs at 2667 stock and at xmp it runs at the rated 3000mhz advertised speeds on 2nd system consisting of a 7700k, timings are right and stable. I bought the ram for £70 good value I can prob overclock it but since it's intel there wouldn't be much of a difference.

17.7.2020

Very happy, I'm sure I have some work to do on my overclock as my benchmark is showing my latency being a bit under par but I would put that down to my own inexperience in OC.For some reason userbenchmark does not see this as Crucial ram.Apart from that I am very happy and may get another set soon.

5.7.2020

Using XMP this goes to 3200mhz automatically with my B450 motherboard and Ryzen 5 2600 cpu. Excellent - fast and low latency. Noticeable improvement using 2x8gb of this instead of 4x4gb of a different brand (that was also only 3000mhz and higher latency). It really is noticeable when playing games.

It's black, does exactly what it says on the sticker and it's cheap (relatively). Can't complain.Tried a quick and dirty 3600 overclock and It got to Windows but failed a stress test. May work with finer tuning (if I ever get time) but don't buy assuming you'll get better than the stated figures.

Really good memory for the money, 3200mhz cl16 is good for the price, but my set easily overclocked to 3600mhz cl16 without issue; pairs very well with an AMD Ryzen processor. The heat spreader is also very good quality, with the colour being very bright and distinct in my build
