I love my ASICS Gel sports shoes and I have bought four pairs this year, two for training and two for hockey. But I find the sizing is unreliable, and this is starting to annoy me because returning works out expensive. I bless the reviewer who tipped getting a size larger. I did this for my first pair and they are perfect. I bought the same size again and all the shoes are on the snug side, especially this latest hockey shoe - which I am slightly concerned about as I have yet to try it with a hockey sock. I really love these astros (I'm on my second pair!) as they are narrow fitting and not overly heavy like many others are. The sizing is like trainers, i.e. you might want a size bigger than your normal shoe size (I'm normally a UK7 but I wear a UK* in astroturf shoes). The grip on them is very good and lasts a long time, making them very good for playing a lot of sport in. The attractive design of them is also a positive and I would definitely recommend buying these.

These are great value for money. I purchased them as I go to outdoor boot camps on grass and my normal trainers have no grip. These help a lot, they get very clogged up with mud, but do help give more grip. Nice colour!
