I preferred it when water proof bags were all that thick rubber and mesh material, but most of the new ones seem to be very thin easy tear (it doesn’t rip very easily, but you always think it will!!) material.This bag is no exception, but the shoulder straps etc are all good quality, the valve is also a nice touch. But if it has a valve then why not install a zip along the opening so you can use it as a general bag when you don’t need to roll the top to make it waterproof??? Would make the bag much more useful!Over all a good bag, nice conversion to backpack and appealing colour style. Worth a purchase when compared to similar ones out there, just make sure you get it when a deal is on.

Great item. I bought it for my partner for a camping/ kayaking trip in France from the UK and it was perfect. Well made. Watertight.
